"If your a professional, don't bet your life on these mags. I tested the mags prior to taking a tactical training coarse. On the static range they functioned well. On the tactical range, dirt, sand, and junk in general I had a 3 for 3 mag failure due to dropping mags on tactical reloads in the dirt. The factory mags 2 for 2 performed for 2 full days no problem. At the end of day one I disassembled the mags and found they were full of white grease, now mud. Extensive cleaning and the next day I got a 3 for 3 failure in 2 hours the mag lips spread and were allowing rounds to pop up causing \"stove pipe\" malfunctions. The class was expensive over 1000 rounds fired in 2 days, the mags were a nightmare, buy factory new, you'll be glad you did.In the real world these would have gotten me killed."

"I bought 6 of these for IDPA and Stock IPSC work. Money down the drain. They do not activate the slide lock, so the gun continues to go into battery after the last round is fired. A sure way to lose a match in competition, and probably get you killed if you're a \"professional\" like the ad says.Buy only Para Ord factory mags."

"I bought one of these for my SA 1911 in hopes that it'd function in my wide-body frame as I've had some problems finding spare magazines. It works pretty flawlessly. Getting all fourteen rounds in can be quite the task, but other than that I'd say it's a pretty solid product."

"I tried three of these mags for my pre-ban para-ordinance p14. They will not feed the last round in the clip; the slide stays open with this last round unfed from the mag; not the best situation , even just target shooting. I would never use these mags in a concealed carry situation where I need to trust the mags will feed flawlessly. Buy only Para-Ordinance mags for your high cap .45's."

"I bought two of these awhile back, they fed okay but realized the plastic follower was the culprit for all the substandard performance. I disassembled the mags and used a fine file and dressed down the circumference area of the follower only slightly. I reassembled and loaded all 14 rounds in with wolf ammo no less and didn't have a single malfunction in either magazine. When the slide locked open, the latch was all the way up into the slide recess. I'm now very satified with the product. Remember to always disasseble any mag every now and then to clean and dry lubricate them. If you don't, any mag can fail you. I give it a three bullet rating just due to the fact that it didn' t come to me with life for death reliability."
