"This after-market mag is as good as my original,it cycles both my Lugers perfectly most after market mags do not perform well in Lugers! kudos to Cheaper Than Dirt for a fine product! Sincerely Mark C."

"I was very disappointed with these mags. I bought foour at once and wish I hadn't, should have gotten one first to test it. None of them fit well without needing to be beaten into submission. Who ever CTD buys these from, China most likely, needs to get ahold of a Luger and try to fit these mags into it before they bother to ship them out. Yes they look OK and the wooden mag bottom is very nice but it doesn't mean much if they don't work. Especaily if the amount of grinding and beating needed to get them to fit makes them look like crap. I'm tired of having to deal with sending parts back and forth in order to get something that actualy does what I'm paying it to do in the first place."

"WOW! Perfect fit and finish. After reading the first review, I was leary and only ordered one magazine. I wisdh I had gone with my gut and gotten more. I'm ordering them now. These work perfectly in my 1918 DWM Luger 9mm. Toggle locks open on the last round fired, all rounds feed perfectly. Wooden mag base fits perfectly. My Luger came with a period correct magazine that will not stay in place when fired, and will not lock the toggle/bolt open on the last shot. Granted it is 90 years old, but who cares if it does not work.Cheaper thn Dirt mag does it's job every time. The period correct mag is going on ebay, and the $$ will pay for 3 CTD Luger mags. VERY PLEASED!"

"I too was leary after reading Jason's review, but still ordered one. It's a perfect fit for my 1923 DWM Luger! My original clip in 106 years old and the spring has lost some strength which causes periodic jams. But this new clip has solved the problem and looks great too. Would order again if needed."

"I bought this magazine with mixed feelings. I am member of the lugerforum (do a google search) and I got pretty good advise and help with everything there and with the help of these guys I finally managed to get 5 working magazines for my Mauser Parabellum. I thought I give this magazine here a try as some sort of cheap throwaway magazine that I could keep around the house loaded and just replace it when the spring wears out in a year or two.Lucky me I only bought one of these. First of all the quality is cheap, the tube is thin sheet metal and the follower is plastic. the spring feels kinda OK but what does it matter? I can't even fit the magazine into my gun. I tried empty or with a few bullets, didn't make any difference, theres about half a centimeter in the end that sticks out the grip and it just doesnt go in. Maybe it would fit with brute force but I really don't want to try this out. So for me this magazine is a no go and I will try to send it back."

"Shipment arrived a day earlier than planned.Magazine is well made but fits a little tight in the gun. It goes in all the way and activates the hold open device as it should. The side \"ridges\" should be a tad narrower like the originals but it still works and that's what I want."

"From these reviews it really sounds like your experience with this mag depends upon what pistol you have. I have a 30 cal 20's Commercial. I bought two of these and both performed well after a bit of tuning. The base of one was sticking, causing the clip to ride too high in the reciever. A few taps with a hammer fixed that. When loading the other, the rounds were getting stuck at the top. Bending the back slightly with a pair of pliers fixed that. If you're looking for a wood based mag for an old German luger, this is the one."
