"I highly recommend these magazines. These are factory magazines that are a great bargain. I have not had any problems with these magazines at all. Feeding is flawless and the springs are strong."

"Excellent, well made Mags.but they get stuck in my M1A,N.M. and my MIA,Socom.I did my research and found out they are cut-down from 20 rds. Very hard to lock and un-lock into the Mag.well, too short.Solution? Leave the Bolt open and insert,no pressure from bolt pushing it down!! Can beat them for the money, the competition sell them for $35.00!!!"

"Can't beat them for the price. Work great in my M1A, tight fit helps to leave the bolt open when locking them in place."

"When I loaded them up right out of the plastic I noticed that two of the four I purchased had a hard time holding on to the tenth round. First try, some would eject a live round with each spent round. I had to adjust the feed lips with needle nosed pliers and that seemed to do the trick somewhat but did not have enough ammo left for a final trial. After they're broke in a little more I expect them to be fine (save one that might go into the trash). For the price I'd say worth the deal, but they're not my go-to mags if I absolutely need to be sure the gun goes bang."

"Picked up three of thse recently, and am greatly impressed. Function as well as the 10-rd mag that came with my M1A. \"Fit and Function\" test, including disassembling mags and inspecting internals was flawless. Some other posters had difficulty inserting on a closed bolt. Only one of three that I got had such an issue, but locking the bolt back prior to inserting a mag will alleviate (guess that's why the bolt automatically locks back on an empty mag, huh?).Not as pretty as some of the other \"high dollar\" mags out there, but I doubt your target will be significantly worried about that. Keep the muzzle \"up and down range\"! Good shootin'!"

"When seated properly the cartridge would engage the bolt catch. Difficult to seat and release. Further inspection showed that the magazines are a quarter inch shorter then the ones supplied with my M1A. When loaded, the rounds sit higher then the supplied mag. Attempts to bring the feed lips in line with my working magazines resulted in inconsistent feeding and an in-ability to load to the specified capacity. I may tinker with them further, but for now they're marked for spare parts."

"Good price will not function corretly in two different M-14shard to get into magwell, bolt open or not, then 10th round will barely fit in have to force it, then will not feed every round correctly, even experenced live round being ejected several times.Maybe a paperweight?Rocky"

"This mag is a piece of junk. Does not fit correctly causing rounds to jam."

"these are crap...only one out of 4 feed properly most of the time...the lips are so easy to bend that they never keep the proper shape.. compare them with a quality mag and adjust the lips to that shape..or they will not work and scratch up the bottom of your bolt..after adjusting the lips they will work, but you have to be real gentle or they just bend out of shape all over again..maybe i can use the springs when all other magazines have dried up...so i guess that makes it worth the price"

"I got 5 of these. Yes I read the reviews first, but I figured, I'm not made of money and I'm handy enough I can probably tweak any bad ones so they will work. Now I am convinced that the other reviews which gave low ratings was a plot to keep the price down. These work great. Not a single malfunction. I only wish I could afford more of them. But, as they say, you can wish in one hand and spit in the other then guess which fills up first. Poor me. I spent it all on the Socom. Thanks CTD for making good stuff obtainable by the financially challenged. Especially us poor saps stuck in Kalifornia.Happy Trails"

"This Magazine has been cut from a 20 Round and the bottom of the Magazine is not even, leaving a \"SPACE\" for a foreign material to enter and cause a malfunction-definitely not to MIL-SPEC!"

"This mag dose not appear to be the same type I received from the Springfield factory.Springfield factory mags are black parkerized and the bottom plate is tempered, parkerized and will not bend when removed for cleaning. The spot welds are much larger. I also had trouble locking this mag in the magazine well."

"Current product being shipped is not made by a Springfield. Maybe buyers who wrote earlier reviews from 2006 got the real thing, but not these. I ended up returning them as they would not even lock into my M1A. Spend the money for the ones that work...which you won't get for 10 bucks"
