"If you use your AR-15 in an area where there may be large amounts of dust this is for you. These covers seem to work pretty well keeping your mags free of dust and therefore free of jams."

"Covers work well if you plan on storing mags over long periods of time i suggest getting these covers to keep your mags dust free"

"I ordered a set of these back when they were just $5 for four. One has already split out, but the other three are OK. They would be good for loading on top of an aluminum mag and pounding through the brush/mud to keep it clear, but I definitely would not recommend for long term storage. For long term storage buy a Magpul mag! They come with a quick release \"dust cover\" that actually pushes the last round down off the feed lips to prevent \"creep\" over long periods of time."

"I bought these for use with my Mini-14 magazines. The Mini mags are a little smaller the AR mags so while it covers the Mini mags, they don't stay on very well and tend to fall off."

"Worth every penny. Keeps dust and such out of my AR mags, fit AR mags perfectly."

"These things would be GREAT if they'd fit a little tighter. I'm sure these would work perfectly on a poly magazine, but for the thin USGI mags they seem to be a little big.Not too loose though.. they stay on, but if you were to have them in your pocket or pull on JUST the rubber cap, then yeah.. they'll come off. Worth the money. And if you don't like it, you're only out what a few bucks?"

"Yes, they need to be a bit tighter on the mag - but they don't fall off. I bought 10 of them and I use them on the bottom of the mag to keep dust out while the magazine is engaged - I hear some of you guys cringing at this but if you have some of these dust covers, try it out and see what I'm talking about."
