"I have found the Holy Grail of 1911 magazines. I have always had trouble with the 1911 magazine and now with Chip McCormick's magazine there is no more wondering if the mag will work or not. Just fabulous magazines."

"Bought 6 of these and took them to the range last weekend with my Rock Island 1911. Worked flawlessly. I ran about 24 rounds thru each mag and had ZERO misfeeds. I'm ordering 4 more. Cant beat a mag of this quality for the money."

"It has been said before and I have to agree. I bought two of these for my Taurus PT1911 and they are fantastic. The construction is superb and the function is flawless. I will be buying more."

"Nice looking magazines, easy to load. Not 5 bullets because it took a little extra effort to slam one home fully loaded in my Para GI Expert. Other than that feed flawlessly and held the slide open after the magazine was empty."

"I bought two of these for my SW1911 and they work great. I have fired 500 rounds of FMJ and 400 rounds of Federal Hydra-Shok JHP through both mags with no problems of any kind. I love these magazines and will be buying more."

"I bought one used it and bought 9 more. Who would use any other mag in their 1911. I'm not sure. Quality is awesome and fits and cleans up well, love them."

"I bought 2 of these after reading the previous reviews and because of the relatively price. With a Kimber Custom II using Remington UMC factory ammo, the results have been just OK. The first time I used them, the very last round failed to feed twice (out of 50). Yesterday I tried them again and the 2nd & 3rd round failed a couple times, but after that it was OK. The 8th round failing is one thing, but you may very well need those first few cartridges to fire when you think they will. So if you have a Kimber 1911 I would not recommend these for home defense or carry/concealed carry purposes. I use a Wilson Combat and just the regular Kimber mags for that. These magazines are just for taking to the range; unfortunately I would NOT bet my life on them."

"This magazine is as reliable as they come. I purchased two of them and have been using them for two years now and have not had a single problem. The quality of this product ranks among the absolute best. I am in the military and a member of a special operations team. I trust my life with this magazine. You can too!"

"I own several of these magazines and I HIGHLY recommend them. I have fired 450 rounds through them and have not experienced one single problem. I especially love the fact that I can easily see the ammo count through the holes in the sides of the mags. Most mags only have small holes, where as these have larger ones and one for each round. They also hold one more round than the standard 7 round mag which is great for when several zombies are trying to have you for dinner! Buy these mags. You won't regret it at all."

"Bought these for my Kimber Pro Carry HD. Drop free and function perfectly. No FTFs or FTEs. Way better than the Kimber mags."

"This mag worked great in my 1911. A little snug when inserting, but no problems shooting..."

"Bought 2 of these for my Taurus PT1911, fit fine, nice and flush on bottom. If you try to let the slide down slowly it hangs and the round nosedives a little but let it slam down and all is good, nice mags."

"I am using this mag in my Rock Island GI 1911A1. My Rock feeds ball ammo perfectly even in $6 mil-spec mags I ordered from here. It also feeds Fed. HST 23 grain HP plus p's flawlessly in my other chip mccormick mag that I bought from here as well, but that one is the blued version of this mag. Never any hang ups at all with the blued one. This mag, on the other hand, has been locking the slide back during shooting even when ammo is still in the mag. It does it with both ball and HP ammo of all types. I have not had this problem with any other mags, including the cheap ones. I hope there is just a burr getting worked out, but I haven't found it yet. So far, it has done it every time I have shot with it (apprx. 10 mag loads). Probably a lemon."
