"this mag is awsome. but it being plastic you wouldent think it would be 250 bucks after you have it shipped.really compact i figured it to be bigger. after full it makes your ar weight alot more but you have alot of fire power in one mag. if you got the money get one before bush makes it illegal to own anythang cool."

"Excellent product..........almost a must have for anyone who likes to shoot their AR for fun!!! Don't know about darksoldiers comment about Pres. Bush banning them???? I believe the Dem's are the ones trying those tricks. My only wish is that this one came with the pouch & loader. Highly recommend the Lula loader for any AR15 owner."

"Got mine in and loaded it but it would not feed. Had to file down some on the front of it as you could see where the bullet was catching at the tip. After that it fed fine. When you go to unload and put in another mag it kinda sucks as you have to push your button and slap the side of the mag as you cannot pull it out at all. It does what it is suppose to do though and that is put a lot of rounds down range."

"Excellent! Rapid fire through my bushmaster without jams. Will buy a second."

"Nice as these are, and as nice as it is to be able to fire 100 rounds through your rifle from one magazine, are they really worth it? They're too heavy and bulky to really move with if you have to, and that much weight on the gun isn't the best for it... I'd say stick to the 40 and 30 round magazines."

"works great in my bushmaster M4 never had a problem with it and if you can afford it I highly suggest getting one."

"This Beta Mag is one of those items if you own an AR-15/M-16 it is a MUST."

"Hey anyone who needs to send 100 rounds down range this is the product for you! I've put thousands of rounds through mine and still functions proper. Of coarse it makes your Ar/M-16 weigh more Its a hundred rounds! I have three and plan to get more b-4 this right is taken from us! Get them while u can! Price already went up!"

"Used a friends of mine on my Bushy A4 and it worked great. Was able to rip 100 rounds off no problem. However, it is HEAVY. Dont quite see the point as we were bench firing its ok, to pick it up and fire by hand? Impossible, very bulky.I would reccomend getting 3 HK clips for the same cost, and save yourself all the weight."

"I use these with a 24' barrelled flattopped Bushmaster with a mod'd M60 bipod and a panoramic red dot sight. Effectively gives me a semi-auto squad-level weapons platform. Just added a Gat Trigger and now I've got a street legal SAW!"

"I purchased the \"C\" Mag for my M4 and M16. It works great and i am very pleased with this purchase. I would highly recommend to get one to anyone who owns a M4 or M16. I have never had any problems with this product and it is very easily broken down to clean and lube up. Overall one of the best accessories to the rifle available, both useful and great to add that certain edge for display purposes. DEFIANTLY GET ONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

"Great buy!! Works flawlessly. I highly recommend this product!"

"This Mag is very well made, even for being mostly plastic but its good quality plastic. Best high capacity Mag for the AR out there. I am currently looking for the easy loader though because after loading 60 rounds it starts to get a little harder to load the last 40. It took me awhile to commit buying though because of the price but since I got it I am very pleased with it, I haven't had it jam once. If you are serious too about getting one you better hurry. No telling when they will ban the high capacity mags again. Then it will cost you $500 at least at any gun show."

"I have used this several times. It functions absolutely flawlessly. I love it. I use the LULA AR-15 Butler Creek Mag Loader to fill this and it works well. I definitely recommend this magazine."

"It was the awe of the range; people were drooling. It preformed with flawless function and the cool factor was a 10! It really should come with a loader and a bag for the price. Will buy another before the democrats ban them. hell, might buy two if CTD ups the ante!"

"Great drum although it is pricey. I've put about 1000 rounds through it already with NO jams/misfeeds! its small enough to fit in the MOLLE bags i already have."

"I bought these about a month about when they were $299 and I'm glad I did. They come with instructions and graphite as well. Had no problems cycling through my AR's. No FTFs or FTEs. Get them while they are still legal. The looks at the range were of awe. Only gave four bullets since it adds a LOT of weight to your weapon. I suggest using it on a weapon with a bipod."

"The \"C\" mag is absolutely awesome. Hi capacity and still able to keep your weapon low profile when shooting from a bench or log in the prone position. Well worth the price...."

"Love it! Use it on my Bushmaster Carbon 15 S21 and my Dissapator. Not as heavy as some make it out to be. I'm 60 years old and I don't have any problem. Love the fact that I can store it fully loaded indefinitely without any damage to the mag. Would buy more than the two I have if CTD would bring the price down a little more competively, but I guess if you don't have to wait to get it and risk O'bama banning them its worth the extra bucks."

"Nobody has reviewed whether or not this mag is acceptable for fully automatic fire. I can testify that it's above acceptable... it's absolutely flawless. Hundreds and hundreds of rounds on full auto and not a single hiccup. Get yours now while they're back in stock and the price has come back down. You won't regret it."

"I bought this mag for my Colt le6920 and all it does is jam. Oh and if you plan on being quiet forget about it because the ammo sits in there loosely, rattling around."

"I bought this clip for my bushmaster. I order it on a fri and received it the folling tuesday very promt shipping"

"I bought mine while I was deployed in Afghanistan, loaded it and went to test fire but the rounds would not load properly, they would hit the inside of the mag and stop before they could reach the feed ramp. I will try it again when I go target shooting, but I will only trust my life with 30 rd mags."

"BOUGHT THIS FOR A BUSHMASTER, I'VE TAKEN IT TO THE RANGE TWICE.THE MAGAZINE WORKS WELL, AS ADVERTISED. COULDN'T GET 100 ROUNDS INTO THE MAGAZINE, DIDN'T WANT TO FORCETHE LAST FIVE ROUNDS INTO IT, I WAS AFRAID OF CRACKING THE PLASTIC FEED LIPS. STILL A GOOD HIGH CAPACITY MAGAZINE.THE EXPENSE IS PROHIBITIVE."

"For the price this 100 rnd mag is GARBAGE!!! The feeding lips are plastic; it feels like you're going to break the plastic trying to feed the final 20-30 rnds. For the $ it should have steel feed lips, and not need to CRAM in the full 100 rounds. Thanks but no thanks I'll stick to my side by side 30 round mags that have never failed me. What am I suppose to say to the iraqi maggot trying to put me ina box? Hang on a second and let me get this piece of crap unjammed!!!"

"It actually took me about 9 months to finally get one after hearing about them. I got it and it is totally bitchen. And, I agree, It will set you back when looking at the AR with this clipped it. Just take 'er easy and don't toast your barrel."

"This C mag is not ready for duty. It jams to easy and should be updated to all metal feeders."
5.0 5
"I hesitated on purchasing it because of the price but finally broke down and took the plunge. I have had no problems what so ever with it. Ran 700rds through it and not one problem, functioned flawlessly. No jams, engaged and disengaged easily and smoothly through the mag well. I'm glad I took the plunge."

"I bought two of these not too long ago and they're pretty sweet. Whenever I go to the range with them, everyone really likes them. Awesome CTD!!!"

"love mag, 100 rds feed perfectly, does add a little weight to my mark 4. works great..."

"This magazine is the bees knees. I was a bit nervous about the plastic feeders, but after cramming all 100 rounds into this beast with no flexing of the feeders, I am confident they can take plenty of abuse. I am not worried about weight since I am not going to war, but fully loaded this thing is extremly heavy. Everyone should buy one."

"I'll make this short, my trigger fingers tired, perfection!!!"

"Just purchased the Beta and was in love with the magazine right off the bat. Did test fit to rifle first and just like it was made to do it fit like a glove. Manually loaded the magazine, which was not recommended, without a hiccup. Am going to the range in a few days to test drive. Although the mag. was made of plastic, it is heavy duty which should give it a good shelf life. The balance when loaded was good on the AR unlike the one sided mag. beta puts out. Every time I pick up the AR with the mag. in it all I can say is SWEET...... We will see if it was worth the price."

"Purchased this magazine a few weeks ago and was very anxious to get to the range and test drive. Appearances can be deceiving. For the price, it should serve you breakfast in bed. I had some trouble with the ammo cycling. For the first five rounds, no problem, then it could not chamber another round. Kept having to secure the weapon, remove the drum, and clear the round. I stopped after the third time. Will give the drum another try on another day. Needless to say, I am not as happy with the performance as with the looks."

"Bought the beta mag because of the balance and look. All is well with the heavy duty plastic and appeared to be well made. Have a problem with the ammo not feeding properly. Needless to say, I had to send it to the Beta Company (Not CTD) for them to check it out. Not a happy camper due to the cycling problem and having to send it back to the manufacturer. At the price I payed for it, the thing should bring me coffee in the morning. Will see what Beta has to say about what they find out. To be continued..."

"First, a word of caution. If you hold your rifle with your trigger finger extended along the receiver (like normal people), and slam this magazine home, you will pinch your finger between your gun and the mag. It hurts. A lot. The magazine loads easily with the ProMag loader. Mine came with a couple of tubes of graphite lubricant. I put a couple of puffs on the top plastic lugs before the first loading and it worked through all 100 shots without misfeeding. In actual usage, this thing is borderline silly. I blew all the targets off all the trees, chased them around on the ground, shot the old water tank ten or fifteen times, shot the lake a few times to watch the pretty splashes, and still had 30 rounds left."

"I bought this mag and the cheaper one, just to compare quality. Well, let me tell you, the cheaper one is junk. I shot it once at the range and it jammed on me about every 3-5 rounds throughout the whole 96 rounds. The C-Mag didn't jam once. The cheap one broke on me the second time I tried it. Had to unload all 96 rounds by hand, and then the right hand side filler rounds just fell out. Outrage! The C-Mag again performed perfectly. This is the one you want."

"Get it while you still can!"

"Love the concept, but it simply does not work. The springs are weak and it does not feed the weapon correctly. Also, if you think you're going to leave ammo in the magazine for more than a day or two, then it will not work at all. Save your money."

"I bought this mid 2011 and LOVE IT! It's intimidating and works great."

"This is a great item. You can spray rounds forever it seems. The only thing is be careful not to burn your barrel up. They are not intented to be fired 100 times at once. That also burns your pocket book. :) Very fun though!!"

"I bought this recently and have taken it to the raange. I was surprised they allowed this clip to be used, but they do - I also live in GA. That being said, it fired 99 rounds perfectly. It jammed once around round 55-60, but that was it. Note, your gun will get EXTREMELY hot from using this and you are blowing nearing $100 in short order, so keep all this in mind. As far as comments about having to load it \"that day\" - that is incorrect. I read the manual and the manufacturers website and they say that LEAVE IN is fine. In fact, all 100 rounds were packed 2-3 weeks ahead of time because I was delayed to get to the range. The directions were followed and it worked VERY WELL.Just remember to clean you gun afterwards because most people do not fire off 100 rounds this fast. Changing 30-4 mags easily is commonplace and allows the gun to cool down. Another factor is weight. Since the drums are on both sides, there is obviously a great deal of weight to carry as you hold it. My recommendation, get a handle/snapping bipod to make this more comfortable. Adding this drum to the gun with all the rounds in it will add 2-3 lbs. That is half the weight of your rifle. Finally, the one DOWNSIDE of this magazine is that the LIPS are PLASTIC. That is not very smart on many fronts. Since you are loading 100 rounds, the chances of you accidentaly chipping or breaking one of the lips is probably pretty high eventually. I have not seen a replacement, but METAL would be preferred. Very disappointed to see that the insert was plastic and not extremely durable material.I'd rate the clip a 8.7/10. If they made it metal, it would be a 9.5/10. Weight is the main factor that keeps this from being perfect, though they do a good job of angling it back to compensate. In 6-12 months, these will be non-existent as I see it. You will not find 100 round drums anywhere. Prices on here have been from $299-$699 and sold everywhere in between."

"This really is a great addition to a AR-15/16 platform. Yes it will make your gun heavy, esp firing standing. Yes your barrel will get hot DO NOT TOUCH. With a good sling it's not bad to travel with. It's design is excellent and should not affect any normal movement with the gun. No problems with feeding/loading. LULA loaders work very well BTW."

"This mag is the bomb! It works flawlessly in my M-16 full auto and feeds correctly. No jams in 5 magazines full (500 rounds). Great quality. Sure they cost a ton, but it works and holds 100 rounds safely."
