"This product is a great value. Any walk in store would sell these for twice the price CTD sells it for.Aluminun is lighter than steel."

"I ordered 2 of these mags, they are painted aluminum, very cheap, no markings, nothing. The first one I loaded loaded fine, but the bullets would not sit nose up, so when pushed forward they hit the front of the mag, very unreliable. The second one, I loaded it to about 15 rounds and the follower got JAMMED into the case, it was straight in there correctly but just jammed! All the bullets fell out. They both have very sharp edges specifically on the feed lips, the followers are extremely cheap, they tilt inside the mag and are very floppy. This is the second time I ordered crappy mags from this place, the first time it was the steel 20rnd mags, those followers actually tipped and were so sloppy that the bolt wouldn't even hold open.I've been shooting for quite a while, most of my mags are colt brand, a few other decent ones but these are just terrible.Jon"

"DO NOT BUY THESE MAGS! I am a LEO and bought two of these mags. I tried to use both of them in a Colt AR-15. THey did not load into the weapon easily. Both mags loaded rounds that jammed the gun, they double fed live rounds into the weapon. When the mags were removed (with a fight), like a magic trick the spring spit the ammo out the top onto the ground with instructors saying they have never seen that before!! These are definitely junk and possibly pose a threat to safety!!"

"I experienced the same poor performance with these 30 round painted mags as did your customer previously to me did. They were also extremely tight fitting in both my Armalite Ar-15 and my Buddies Stag Arms AR-15. I also had problems with the all steel 20 rounders and the 20 round version of these mags. They were all no-namers which leads me to believe they were import imatations. They were sent back to you and I am hoping you can swap them out for real AR-15 government contacted magazines."

"I have 5 of these and after the first time I used them, only 1 still works. Every other round double feeds, and I've tried these in 4 different rifles. I can't count on these when I'm shooting at cans, I certainly won't trust my life to them!"

"I purchased two of these from CTD, and wish I had paid the extra $3.00, to buy quality mags! Like others here, the mags would not feed, and the followers kept hanging up half way inside the mag, causing the rounds to fall out! I've ordered new Magpul followers for the mags in hopes that I didn't completely waste my money! DO NOT BUY THESE MAGS!!!!"

"I am a LEO and I purchased 4 mags to keep as backups in my trunk. DO NOT BUY THESE MAGAZINES!!! One failed to hold rounds in the magazine. The mouth was welded wide and would not feed. The remaining three double would repeatedly double feed and I was unable to fire more than one shot between malfunctions. If your life depends on your ability to return fire don't depend on these magazines for more than one shot one kill PERIOD"

"Took them to the range for the first time yesterday, complete JUNK!!!All of them would not feed correctly; I plan on sending them back for a refund (hopefully??). Met someone else at the range that had the same mags and the same problems. If you load 30 rounds in them the bottom blows out??"

"Just wasted 40 beans on these. Will not load past 20 rounds correct. At the 21 round the spring locks up. DO NOT BUY"

"DO NOT BUY. I have had similar problems with the 5 mags I bought as other reviewers here - bullets feeding nose down, not holding bullets in, etc. Of course I didn't use them until after the 30 day return rule so I am stuck with these pieces of junk, out $59, and will throw them in the trash."

"In a nutshell...you get what you pay for. Bought 2 of these a few months ago (to save a little money) and just took them to the range yesterday. All I can say is...WHAT GARBAGE!!!If you've got the clip stuffed full, they seem to work fine...but when you get to the last 3-4 rounds, it has a tendency to double feed the rounds. If you want them for decoration, buy as many as you want...if you want them for functionality, pony up a little more $$$ and get a better one."
