"Really nice sling, I wanted a sling for my Garand that gave it some authenticity and this was it. Good sling for the price and enhances the Garand rich history."

"At less than $8, this is a must have for Garands. Excellent product, excellent price."

"This is not a WWII reproduction sling (the reproduction slings are usually of poor quality), this is an actual USGI TAN sling made around the time of the first Gulf War. (All of the ones I got were made in 1991.) The main thing is that you get brand-new USGI quality for a very good price! You can't beat it!"

"These are top notch slings. Buy them for your Garand your M14/M1A or your AR-15. You cannot beat these slings for the price.Very good item."

"These are reproductions. The tag that came with the sling is fake. It has a fake contract number and fake manufacture date. It has a Federal Stock Nunber. FSN's were superseded by National Stock number in 1974. The tag in the sling bag indicates a 1998 Manufacture date. It is very unlikely that a FSN would be placed on a tag manufactured in 1998. Shame on CTD for passing off a bogus item as military issue"

"GREAT SLING LIKE THE ONE I USED IN THE CORPS. HIGHLY RECOMMEND."

"These may be repros, BUT they are VERY well made and are quite versatile! These will fit on Yugo 24/47's, Lee-Enfields, Swiss K31 rifles (even with the side-mounted sling loop!) and possibly other surplus/commercial firearms. A great alternative to expensive shooting slings."

"I'd really like to see how one adjusts \"Length up to 60.\" The sling, completely unraveled, is 47 inches long! In all fairness to Cheaper Than Dirt, the misrepresentation is on the label, so their supplier is the one being deceptive, and Cheaper Than Dirt, and most of us, fell for it.Other than being too short for use as a loop sling, it's well-made and inexpensive. For a 60\" sling it earns 1 bullet. As a 47\" sling, it would earn 5."

"Definitely not real military and not 60\". Maybe 36\" fully opened. It is a good looking piece, looks rather authentic, but definitely not real military. The clamp doesn't begin to work as tight and snug as the real thing, and with a lot of use it may loosen up and make adjustment impossible, but it looks nice on my WWII Garand when it hangs on the wall with all the tan/khaki web gear from the same era."

"Works very well with my M1 Garand. Sturdy webbing material. Good, authentic look. Adjustment fastener might get loose over time; doesn't seem to \"bite\" that hard (but works fine for now). At a fraction of the cost over expensive leather slings this is a great value."

"Being a military type, I do not understand why these guys keep talking about 60 inches. THis M1 Garand sling fits PERFECTLY at the proper sling lugs. It is heavy web \"duck\" cotton as original. It has very strong properly fitted metal hardware. THe clip on the \"BUTT\" lug (known correctly as the rear sling swivel) fits perfectly as it was designed originally.....i.e. if you are attaching the sling to the \"front sling swivel\". If you know what a \"stacking swivel\" is, then your sling will NOT fit PERFECTLY. Do not attach an M1 sling to the \"stacking swivel\" located right behind the bayonet lug. THen, it will fit beautifully as designed. This sling gives a tight hold using the \"sling hold\" method of firing (your arm is wrapped through the sling once to hold the forearm. EXCELLENT SLING, EXCELLENT. GREAT PRICE. THe rear sling swivel hardware is adjustable for tightness but should not be too tight. DOn't mess it up."

"I like this sling so much I have been back to order more. Good quality, good color. On one, I have even Dremeled down the hooks to fit the narrower sling rings of my Hi-Point; makes it look sharp. As earlier mentioned, for a Garand remove the hook before installing on the upper sling ring."

"Nice item. I gave it 4 stars because I wish it had been about 10 inches longer or so for my Garand. Installs quickly, authentic looks, and quality material it seems. I would buy another but probably for something smaller like the 30 M1 Carbine."

"Looks great! Was impressed with quality, fits great as well! Only gave it four bullets because I wish it would have showed which end goes were, but I guess thats just personal preference, great product ctd! Will be buying more in future!"

"While this isn't an original sling for my Garand, I have to say it is the next best thing. Excellent quality and works great. Im very happy with this sling."
