The M6A5 rifle is a Mid Length carbine available in a 16" barrel length. The M6A5 rifle is ideal for those who utilize optical sights as it employs a low-profile gas block. There is no A-frame front sight to obscure the field of view of the optical device. The M6A5 rifle also features a longer free float rail system. Any M4 MIL Std 1913 accessory can be mounted to the rail, and because the rail has a monolithic profile, you can bridge devices from the receiver to the rail seamlessly. The longer rail also affords more optional 1913 "real estate" to mount your accessories.
The M6A5 rifle can be used in various roles from close quarters battle or fighting in built up areas, an excellent general purpose carbine capable of effective fire out to 600 meters and with the 16.1 inch barrel, the M6A5 rifle can be used as a Squad Dedicated Marksman Rifle.

The M6A5 comes with LWRCI's new Skirmish Sights. These sights can be raised using gross motor skills and without pressing any button. The sights lock in the up position and are lowered by pressing a but ton on their left sides. The sights are extremely low profile and stand less than " tall when folded. All of the sharp edges have been smoothly radiused, nearly eliminating the possibility of snagging the folded sights or cutting the shooters hands when being deployed. The sights are constructed of 7075 aluminum, which is Type 3 hardcoat anodized, and 4140 steel, that is treated with our NiCorr surface conversion technology. 7075 aluminum is much harder and stronger than the 6000 series aluminum used in our competitor's sights. The bearings and detents are all industrial hard chromed. The sights are nearly impervious to corrosion. As an added benefit, all of the surfaces on the rear of the sights post and its protective wings are grooved at either 20 or 40 lines per inch to eliminate glare.
