"Got one of these 9mm conversion barrels for my G23. Dropped in, no additional parts needed (except magazines). Worked flawlessly. Have a few hundred rounds of 9mm through it, already, and not a single malf. Even stock .40 caliber mags worked; although I don't think that I'd rely entirely on .40 mags, it's good to know they'll do in a pinch. Awesome product and instantly doubles the versatility of the Glock. This is a real great product and for about a hundred dollars, a total bargain."

"I purchased the barrel for my Glock 23 to shoot less expensive 9mm ammo. The barrel is EXTREMELY accurate and functions great. The stock extractor also performs great on expelling the smaller 9mm shells. The only problem I had is the conversion barrel's chamber area is a tighter fit with a 9mm shell than the stock barrel's chamber is with a .40 shell. There is less overall clearance in the lone wolf chamber. This is not an issue with factory loaded ammo because of good quality control manufacturing, however it is an issue with some of the reloaded ammo I purchased. Some of the 9mm reloads have a bulge in the casing causing the round to become jammed in the chamber during firing and causing quite a headache to dissasemble the gun to pry the spent shell casing out. I suppose the main issue here is the supplier of the reloaded ammo press/dies becuase I don't believe it is normal for these ready to fire brass cases to have bulges. Again, there is no problem with factory loaded ammo and I am glad I now have two guns in one! Great barrel!"

"These Conversion barrels are awesome. They fit like a glove in the Glock 23 and function perfectly. Bought some of the glock 9mm 33-round mags and now have a mac 11. .40 cal bullets also fit in the 9mm 33-round mag. So I could shoot both rounds in Extra Hi-Cap with a simple barrrel change. Like the other poster said 2-guns in one, GREAT DEAL!!!"

"I purchased a standard length conversion barrel for my Glock M23, converting it to a 9X19mm. I received it this morning and took it to the range with my Glock M23 and M27. The barrel was truley a drop-in for both guns. First I test fired it a few rounds in the M23 then fired 50 rounds thru it checking for accuracy and any problems. It worked perfectly. Next I switched the barrel to my M27 and repeated the same tests. It functioned perfectly in the M27, as well.I did notice one minor problem: My handloads for my M17 were a little bit hot for the conversion barrel. I had a few pierced primers, but no related problems. I'll just back off on my reloads for the conversion barrel.I highly recommend these barrels to anyone seeking light recoil and economy for practice. They are far more accurate than the original Glock polygonal rifling barrels and you can shoot lead bullets thru them."

"This barrel is outstanding. I love how easy it is to convert your .40 glock into a 9mm. It takes me under 15 seconds to make the swap. I highly suggest this product. Lone wolf makes great replacement barrels and cheaper than dirt sells them at a fair price."

"Shoots very high and to the right. At 7 yards the bullets were consistently hitting 4-5\" to the high right. At 15 yards I couldn't even hit the outer ring on the target. Unfortunately this is now completely useless because I don't want to \"train\" shooting very low left."

"Great conversion barrel I bought it to plink around 9mm, drop in fit works flawlessly. Would have given it 5 bullets if they would lose the laser burned ulgy wolf cartoon on the top of the barrel. But for $100 it's a great product and I don't have to spend $500 to get a Glock 19. I put 400 rounds through it and it functioned flawlessly with aftermarket KCI 9mm mags. It met my expectations. Thanks CTD"

"These barrels are awesome. My buddy got one for his, so I decided to try one out. For the money you can not go wrong. I actually think that the Lone Wolf shot better groups than the regular Glock barrel did. I'm super happy with mine and recommend anyone looking to shoot a little better to pick one up."

"Arrived 3 days after ordering. Dropped in and fit well. I fed this barrel 200 rds of everything from reloads to CorBon DPX, and Federal LE+P+, without a hiccup. Accuracy was good from 7,10, and 15yds. I used my Glock 17 mags, as I don't have any 15 rounders. I even shot one clip of reloads with the G23 .40 cal mag, w/o a problem. If I were going to carry with this barrel I would get the G19 mags. About 3 of 200 rounds ejected in front of my face, one hitting my glasses."

"I've used this twice with my Glock 23. Dropped it in, and fired 200-300 rds, without a problem. Worked ok with my glock 17 mags, and with the glock 23 mags. No problems with ejection, as I have heard from some. Fired everything from reloads to a couple of Corbon DPX and Winchester silver tip rounds"

"I bought one of these and used it for a while and it worked fine with no problems. I do not know how many rounds but it has started to jam and misfeed with any variety of ammo I have tried. I am not sure what happened but I think wear on the fit has had a negative effect on it. I called Lone Wolf and they said that sometimes this barrel will misfeed with weak practice ammo. But like I said it jammed with anything I tried. Standard pressure and +p 115s and 124's. I give it three stars because it did work for a time. I would NOT CARRY this in a defensive pistol."

"I just bought this for my Glock 27. It fits great, the barrel only extends about .5 inch past the slide, (looks awesome) and it shoots great. No feeding or ejection problems. Nice and accurate. I'll prob buy the .357 Sig barrel one day. Only complaint is the ugly Lone Wolf logo on top of the barrel."

"I was looking for a Glock\uFFFD 23 to 9mm conversion barrel to save money on ammo. I researched a few manufacturers; Bar-Sto, EFK, KKM, Storm Lake\uFFFD and Lone Wolf. The two points that helped me decide upon Lone Wolf Distributers, where first and foremost \uFFFDPrice! Second \uFFFDtheir selling point that the only additional hardware needed to complete the conversion was a 9mm magazine. I took my new LWD-239N to the outdoor range for the first time today. 9mm Luger does not have the kick that the .40 S&W does, but is certainly practice quality. I was hitting my targets \uFFFDright on! I have read mostly good reviews about these conversion barrels, but one indicating that the shots were landing far off target. I had no such problem. I am only giving this product 4 Bullets due to the ridiculous Lone Wolf graphic etched on top of the barrel. The graphic is pathetic, but the quality is what you would hope for. I would suggest converting back to the OEM barrel Concealed Carry and self-defense."

"I have to say it is amazing! No jams and it's super accurate. The only mild complaint is the random ejection pattern: sometimes to the right and sometimes straight up and down. But, the most important thing I must tell you is that the rounds still ejected and I have put 500+ through it. Get this barrel and enjoy cheaper shooting. I would only recommend installing the 9mm extractor if you want to keep it in 9mm."

"This is a pretty simple product and it does exactly what it is supposed to. I use this barrel in my Glock 23 to shoot inexpensive 9mm rounds. I recently shot 400 rounds through this barrel using \"cheap\" 9mm ammo and had zero failures of any kind. I am using Glock 9mm magazines but have retained the Glock .40 extractor. This barrel will pay for itself in approximately 2000 rounds if shooting inexpensive 9mm vs. inexpensive .40 S&W"

"Glock 23 gen 3 is my favorite CC weapon. My gun with this barrel does not cycle 9mm consistently. At least 2 rounds per magazine do not properly eject. I will not change out the extractor and/or ejector to just plink. I bought 8 glock 19 magazines to use with this conversion barrel. What a waste of money. I tried several brands of ammo in 9 mm and no joy. I really wanted this to work."

"It was so easy to drop in no alterations to the gun I put over 200 rnds of commercial ammo through it. Not 1 hiccup and more accurate than the 40's but I'll try it with some hollowpoints first."

"This barrel works great in both my 23 and 27. No malfunctions at all. About 350 rds through the 23 and 100 through the 27. I bought it from Lone Wolf directly (before I found it here), so I paid 10 bucks extra. Still a great deal, but you can't beat CTD. For what it's worth, I also strongly recommend Crimson Trace laser grips."

"The barrel came today in the mail. Installed it by drop in. Shot a couple mags of 9mm through it using aftermarket 9mm mags no problems. Tried using the Glock 23 mags not so good for 9mm. I am really pleased with this barrel."

"Great barrel, I've only fired about 200 rounds so far .Only two FTE's I attribute this to ammo 10 year old geaogia arms, however those were the only malfunctions with the ammo as well. The barrel put the rounds where I aim and is very easy to clean. I've fired various hollowpolnts , Fiocchi 92gr emb,115gr 9aphp,9xtp Federal 115gr 9bp ,a daysnd some wolf ball it all works so I would recommend it, also great service from CTD , three days with stuff coming from three different warehouses!"

"Worked flawlessly in my G23 Gen 3 and came in a nice plastic holder thing that keeps it clean in my range bag.Paid for itself pretty quick in ammo savings.I practice with both barrels and the 9mm is almost half the price of 40S&W. I put in my G23 barrel in the holder at the range when I convert and change my Glock 23 back to 40S&W after I clean both barrels."

"I have used this barrel on my Gen 3 Glock 23 for many months now. I have used it for plinking, training, and even competing. I have probably fired over 2,000 rounds through it (maybe more), and have had very minimal failures. Barrel is HUGELY more accurate than factory G23 barrel. Now \uFFFD a couple of important things ... ALL 9mm rounds fired through this barrel (especially reloads) should be chamber checked. The chamber tolerances of LWD barrels are tighter than factory Glock barrels, and bulged cases will cause failures to extract. Second ... beginning of rifling is not chamfered well as with Glock barrels, thus cheap, malformed, or poorly plated bullets will also not feed well in LWD barrels. I do use 9mm (Glock 19) magazines with this barrel, but I do not change the extractor. Competition with this barrel is one thing, but only carry it with quality, factory ammo, and then ONLY if you are VERY well trained with clearing malfunctions. Better yet ... buy a Glock 19 from CTD for $500 and stop whining. How much are your life and family worth?"

"I have shot about 60 or 70 rounds thru this barrel and I have to say it is more accurate than the stock barrel. I am using a factory Glock 9mm mag and I have had one failure to extract and every few rounds, the shell casing hits me in the head."

"After 50 rds, this barrel has worked flawlessly. Great for target shooting. I would feel comfortable with this barrel for personal protection, but why carry a 9mm when you can have a .40 S&W with more stopping power?"
