"Everything it promises and more! I use this rig as a \"Bug-Out\" vest and have stocked it with MRE's, magazines w/ammo, compass, knife, flashlight, batteries and water packets. I have it attached to my backpack and will use it if the Sh** ever hits the Fan. Can't go wrong for the money! Thank you again CTD for a great product at a low price!!!!"

"I ordered this type of vest for even load displacement. It's design is a definate improvement over the old LC-2 systems - the price seemed right too - (too good to be true). It does have well placed large pockets which do not impede movement. BUT...Out the box, the velcro tab closures were not secured properly leaving 2 Mag pocket flaps loose. No big I thought - I'm not carrying mags... After I displaced a 30 pound load between the front, side & back pockets and humped 7 miles, I found the large side pockets pulled away from the body mesh looking like huge \"thread unravels\". One rear adjustable strap unraveled also. I've ended up 'riveting' all the loose corners & webs to continue using this vest. I do like the design, It's easy to move miles & miles comfortably and keep your balance through awkward spaces. My concern though is if someone was really going to rely on this equipment, they'd better reinforce all the stress points BEFORE they deply. GI issue is higher quality than this! The price is right but the quality isn't...it needs (US) reinforcement!"

"This Vest is more of a harness than a vest. It holds AR-15 mags as well as paintball pods and can fit a 72 ounce bladder in the back. It is really great for the money and is well built, the only thing is the straps can scratch your neck if you wear only a T-shirt but other than that it's great!!!"

"The set up of this vest is great in that you have terrific distribution of wieght and good access to everything. The H20 bladder in the back removes the need for canteens and all the padding makes it extremely comfortable. Of course, even having a ton of storage pockets for mags and other gear, there is never enough room. I haven't stress tested it in harse conditions, so I'm hoping the person who had one that was coming unravelled was a isolated incident. This looks and functions great for AR mags. Don't buy if you're hoping to load AK mags they won't work."

"Very happy with this product. The only reason I gave it 4 was because I ordered a black one and they sent me a green one. I'm not gonna lie, I kinda like the green one better anyway. It's a little overwhelming at first trying to figure out where to put stuff but thats the fun of it. Once you get it all figured out its awesome. You can easily fit 8 AR15/ M16 mags. probably 4 field stripped MRE's, compass, fire starter, and still have more room. Not to mention it has a spot on the back to put a camelback. Comfortable. I love it"

"ok this thing is great its not overly complicated, the weight is distributed perfectly you can carry four AK-47 mags or you can fill it up with AR mags. a knife tapes easily up side down on the harness, the camel back feature is a life saver, its quiet it doesn't make any noise when your moving around. it holds up perfectly to abuse, and doesn't hinder your movement in any way. i use the left pouch on the side as a mag dump, and the other for what ever, it also works well with you back pack or alice. I highly recommend it for the price its a steal."

"Repeating what other posters said: Other than in the 'general cargo pockets', the vest will NOT carry 30rd AK47 magazines. I say this as some others have said it will hold AK mags, MAYBE 20rdr's, MAYBE, but I don't have any to try. Anyway, the vest is very comfortable to wear, big reason I chose this one was for the built-in camel back holder, how cool is that? Large 'general cargo pockets' for lots of stuff like air conditioner, 4 man tent.. just kidding. But they are rubber lined so they are water resistent, also cool. Don't use this as a 'backpack', but as a spare ammo carrier / water source with some extra space as a fringe benefit, and it will do just fine. It's probably not made for putting a dutch oven in the cargo pockets, get a backpack for that."

"I just received this vest (and a ton of other stuff) yesterday, and it all came in the mail on time. It looks and feels like it could take some abuse and for 25$ you can't really go wrong, my suggestion, buy it while you can. I'm thinking about getting another in ACU."

"I recently purchased this vest in olive drab. Truly the best vest i have ever worn. With the small exception of the roughness around the neck (which i fixed with a knife and lighter) it was extremely comfortable. It Also is the first vest i've used that could fit an m14 magazine, I also found i could fit about 10 m16 mags if i needed to. I airsoft so i found the side pockets extremely useful for holding my amo bags. These pouches still had room for the all important ducttape, knee pads, gloves, multitool, and a few other items. To top it off, I found that the hydration pack on the back can be used instead as a back holster for your m4 with the mag out(I do not know what other guns will fit it was the only one i had at the time). I have no idea what the straps on the side were for, but i'm going to see if they are for integrating a shoulder holster. 5 bullets all the way."

"theres a reason every likes this vest it is great. cant beat the price. ar 15 mags fit perfect. the universal sizing can be a bit hard to fit because the adjusting straps are in the back. but i filled it with my gear, put it on and had my wife adjust it i about a minute."

"It's not a real SADF rig, but close. Single stich vs. double stich, and belt loops are only at the back. For the price it'll work well for paintball or airsoft."

"Tons of adjustments and options. Side pouches can be used as mag dump pouches. Overall quality is good. I'm 6'4\" 260lbs and I can fit perfectly with room to spare. I also love the belt loops in the back."

"I very highly recommend this LBV, it's worth it's weight in gold. If you want something that is a great buy, at a great price look no futher. Lots of adjustments and pouches. I wore this LBV for two weeks carried (5) M4 magazines, (2) 1qt canteens and everything I needed to sustane me for those two weeks."

"This is an airsoft vest built to resemble the South African LBV. It's not going to hold up to harsh duty & heavy mags without some extra stitching being done on it....and velcro? Forget it."

"Awesome vest. Got it for Christmas and loved it. I use it on Civil Air Patrol SAR missions and it fits everything I need and then some (If you've ever seen the list of what we need, you know exactly what I'm talking about). The only reason I gave it four bullets is that it would've been nice to have some MOLLE webbing on the bigger pouches in case I wanted to add on some specialty gear. Other than that, great vest, YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED."

"Awesome! But don't forget a leg holster for the handgun! Plenty of mag space (3-4 AR-15 or AK mags, plus the 2 big pouches on each side, which you could fit another 3 mags in each one, then 3-4 handgun mags). Add in flashlight and pen pouches and you still have more. There's a hydration bladder pouch. The only complaint is with the buckles, which are a little awkward to tighten. I can put 3 handgun mags, over 100 shotgun shells, a canteen, flashlight, and pens in mine no problem. I am very happy!"

"This is a quality vest. I have gone to the field numerous times with no problems. Be sure to get a pistol belt so it doesn't ride up. Good adjustments. I have 47\" chest and it fits fine, even with a thick jacket or fleece under it. I am able to pack 14 C-products and D&L AR-15 mags into it with ammo and misc. gear. If you want a faster mag release vest, go with the front mag chest rig that uses bungees to hold mags. As the velcro on mag pouches on this vest slows you down."

"Good price, and enough room to carry my 6 spare AK mags(in the side dump pouches), small binoculars, night vision scope, a couple of pistol mags, a handful of chem. lights, flashlight, backup torch, GPS, smart phone, radio, knife, backup knife, notepad, etc."

"bought this for the thinking it would be at least field ready. realized on arrival it was a cheap chinese knock off. for the price you get what you pay for. cheap!!!!!"

"I was going to skip this review, but... buyer beware. If you want to be inundated with straps and buckles and mislined seems and velcro - then this is the vest for you. I was going to use it for an all-purpose harness vest. Forget it. The mag pouches aren't consistent enough in the openings. Some are really wide and can fit two mags instead of one; and some are so tight that a mag won't fit in them at all. The stitching is garbage and started to pull away when I tried it on. The covers for the dump pockets are too small to cover the actual pocket. What a joke. Two of the pouches had a double seems running through the bottom and this kept gear from being stored properly. Straps and buckles are of different sizes and lengths and are too cumbersome. Straps hang precariously from virtually everywhere. Only two duty belt straps (in the back). Adjustment was for the birds. Far too much velcro. They can hear you coming from a mile away... I can go on. I gave mine away. The idea is really good! (Based on the SADF harness vest). The quality sucks!"
