"I have kept these on hand for the last 15 years. During that time we have had numerous power outages, weather etc...not only does the green light stick work great on Halloween, but four will give me plenty of illumination in the upstairs part of an 1800 sq ft house. Whenever my supply gets down to 5 sticks, I order 20 - 30 more, if you want safe dependable illumination, buy thee green."

"I had these up when I was pack hunting and my lantern broke. One stick lit up my tent perfectly. If you're an outdoorsman, I suggest you buy a few."

"Let me explain. These lightsticks give off a good light for at least 12hrs, and then still continue to glow for about another 12. Cant really see all that well for that 2nd 12 hrs, but if you mark something with them, you should be able to find it with a little work. I will be buying more of these in due time, plus some of the G.I. holders if they ever come off of backorder."

"Just received 2 packs of these lightsticks only to find that one pack was Ameriglo and one pack was Omniglow. Although CTD assured me that the Omniglow are made to the same specs I'm definitely concerned about the integrity of this company as CTD specifies Ameriglo multiple times. Also, the Omniglow sticks have an expiration date of 08/10 (3 months). Haven't had time to ensure these sticks perform as well, I am very disappointed that I did not receive the items I was led to believe I was buying."

"I have these along with five red ones in each of my family's two vehicles. Green we wear for safety at night if stranded by side of road (hasn't happened yet, but that's the plan), and the red I would place from the back of the vehicle back to the flow of traffic. This would be ideal if you didn't have your flashers (electrical failure, etc.)"

"One time use light sticks, can beat them. They come foil wrapped, and I really like the hanging hook. I will use these a lot around the camp and in the bush. The effective light is enough to use for pitching a tent, emergency under the hood repair, or hanging on the latrine so you can find it in pitch black. Packing five or six of these in your BOB is going to lighten the load a lot for that 10 minute grab and run bag. Get them while you can."

"These are just as good as the ones I used in the Army. Expiration date on the two boxes I just received is December 2018. That is four years from now."
