"The blade is very comfortable in the hand, even for long term use. I would use it to process small fire wood in a pinch with no doubts about it not being a full tang blade. I actually bought this knife for my wife's backpack since she liked mine so much! The blade is razor sharp and easy to sharpen in the field by even someone with limited honing skills. A few strops on a belt should keep it sharp for most chores and the added feature of a ferro-rod is just awesome! It is stainless, but will rust if not taken care of, so if you plan to use it for food prep or skinning, use a human safe oil or lard to coat the blade (I use mineral oil). It's a great knife for anyone who needs an awesome camp chore/back-up blade in their kit!"
