"This is best day pack you can get! Small and convenient size, but seems to hold all your gear, great tough fabric with wide opening and strong zippers. The straps are fully adjustable so you can make it fit like it should and you can remove the straps you don't like. Since it has the Molle webbing, you can add more pouches outside it you something specific you want quick access to. Really nice pack, hope the make them in more colors soon!"

"this is a very good deal for not a lot of $s ! the pack is exactly as described , it looks great seems to be standing up to my uses and occasional mistreatment ! there is a good amount of separate storage , i find this to be a big plus . i would recommend this mid size pack for the one day at a time hiker . this is another in a long series of purchases from the CHEAPER THAN DIRT company i personally have never had a problem with them and will continue to send my business their way ."

"This pack is great, it's good for hiking. The plastic buckles on the shoulder straps snapped after a run. A bit of 100mph tape fixed the buckles."

"the quality of this pack is great.. The material is tuff and well worth the money. The small pocket on the top is perfect for my garmin 276c gps. I only wish there was a port for an antenna.. Other than that the zippers work great, the straps are decent, and the stiching is'nt bad.. All in all the pack is a steal at the price."

"Wow, just when I thought my search for a great little gear bag was over ,it has now begun again. Let me first say that I did not find out about the flaw in this gear bag until I owned it for about 1 year and not in the 30 days that CTD would honor a refund. In that time this little bag had met all my expectaions, then I found the flaw when I tried to install a molle pouch on the front webbing. Bam , a little stress on its molle webbing and it separated from the pack , making it useless, as there is no way to make a repair. The problem - the manufacturer did not heat seal the end of the cut nylon webbing before they sewed it to the pack, this allows the nylon to unravel when stress is put on it. This pack seemed to have great potential ,as the rest of it appears to be fine. I would say to anyone who may purchase one of these , give a good tug on all the molle strap connection points before the 30 day warranty is up, Good luck...."

"I purchased this not too long ago, and I'm really satisfied with it. It's lightweight but durable, fabric is very strong and I like the different compartments, perfect for my medical supplies. I'm a navy corpsman for the marines, and this bag is just perfect for the field."

"I liked the pack when I first started using it. After a few trips in the woods the main zippers started to fail. After a few months of use the buckle that attaches the shoulder strap to the pack broke. This buckle is not replaceable."

"This little pack is well put together & holds everything you need for a day's outing and more. The multiple compartments allow you to keep your different types of gear separated where it is also easy to get to. I added a Hydration Bladder to complete the package and am extremely happy with its versatility."

"I was so so exited for this pack but when it got here i coudn't even fit. I don't know if you can change the size but. It looks like it's made for 9 year olds. DON'T buy this pack unless you have a small child."

"I wanted a pack to take hunting. So many are too wide, too heavy and don't allow room on your back to sling your rifle over your sholder. This pack is just perfect. For a days hunt it works well and when we are on dirt bikes it easily ties on the rack. It's light, compact , has many compartments for all the diferent items I carry when I hunt. It's well made versital and for the price. What a great buy. We all liked it so much three of the other hunters I hunt with bought and enjoy this pack also."

"This Pack is Great. I picked one up at another site a few months ago, and regret paying a little extra vs. CTD!, but I'm happy. The pack itself may be a little small, but despite other reviews, it isn't tiny. It holds everything I need, and I can always add pouches with the MOLLE system.I have 2 .223 ammo pouches on the back, an EMT pouch one side, and a custom radio pouch on the other.I can attach a knife nicely onto the side, and the Velcro on the back is great for anyone in Law Enforcement.I'm happy with my pack, but my only caveat would be that if you are extremely large, or want to carry a lot of gear, you probably wont like the pack. It's an ASSAULT pack, so don't expect to fit a sleeping bag in it."

"I had high hopes for the Level III Assauly backpack. I'm a sniper on a regional swat team and bought the backpack to carry my gear. 1st, the back pack is too small for my needs. 2nd, the bag started to come apart at the seams (No I did not over stuff it.). 3rd, the nyon pull tabs on the zippers keeps coming off. 4th the plastic buckles are cheap and on the verge of breaking. You get what you pay for! The backpack is now my day pack for hiking with the family. On the plus side I do like the Hydration system compatible holder and 5 stack compartments."

"I bought this back pack about one year ago. About 6 months into using it, the top plastic strap holder (for lack of the correct term) broke. About a month after that the bottom broke. I contacted Cheaper than dirt for a replacement only to be gaffed off. BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!"

"I purcased this pack over two years ago. When I first got it I found that the inside mesh pocket wasn't sewn properly at the bottom, but a little duct tape fixed that. Its worked great ever since then and I take it everywhere. This pack can do just about everything! Great price for a Great pack."

"This is a good choice for a Bug out Bag. 1k cubic inches so you wont put the kitchen sink in it. But it will hold anything you need for 72 hours or Grab-and-go. There are larger packs around, but a four thousand cubic inch bag is far to large for emergency use and will either be mostly empty(and jostling) or full and way heavy. This is excellent for the price."

"Great pack, survived being used everyday for a 6 mo deployment in Iraq. And no, not in an office under a desk. It was the perfect size for taking on convoy, work site, etc. Looks small when you get it, but you can fit a ton of crap in it. A few MRE's, mp3, gloves, goggles & rip-its & still have room. I did replace all the buckles before I took it, as I heard they were weak. You can buy high quality buckles that are made to replace broken buckles online. Came off deployment and am still using it. Thinking about buying a larger one because I travel alot and this one is a little too narrow for a laptop."

"I just received this bag last week and so far I really like it alot. Be advised that when you initially get this bag it looks really small, but once you loosen the straps and open it up then you will see how much room is in this bag. I bought this mainly as a bug out bag and it looks like it will do the trick. So far I've attached my SOG Seal Pup to the side and have put a few odds and ends in it. I'm waiting on my new 4 season tent to arrive and then I'll take it out in the field and test it out, but so far I really like it and you can't beat the price. Very High Value for what you pay for it."

"1. Tiny. I mean really, really tiny inside. Try to load it up and bam the zippers pop. 2 The sewing frays. Mine has frayed so much it looks like a homeless mans clothes. 3. I left mine sitting, full of stuff in a closet for a few weeks and when I took it back out again it had faded to almost white. (I dont know why as nothing touched it) 4. Straps are nice, when the stay put. Mine moved around a lot like a ghost was adjusting my pack.Going Military for my next BOB bag."

"This is a GREAT bag! I bought it about 3 years ago for occasional use in biking. However, it has become my EVERYTHING bag and I use it every single day to transport gear, goods, clothing, whatever! It's only been recently that the main zippers have begun to fail me (obviously because I've overstuffed it 1 too many times!), but I'm definitely in the market for another just like it. Haven't used the hydration holding compartment too often, but I plan on it with the second generation I hope to get soon. Just wish I had asked my children to get me one for this Christmas!Have a great holiday season ... and if you need a bag that holds up even when you beat it up with overstuffing (at times), dirt, water, and sweat, this just may be it!"

"This is a very good bag for the price. Of cource it is not a Molle bag, but it also does not cost 100 bucks. If you pack heavy and have to take everything in your house when you go camping or hiking, don't buy this pack, buy a molle. But if you are going to pack medium heavy to light this bag is great."

"I think this is a great bag for the money. It is not the largest bag available, but I can use it for good sized hiking bag or as a medium sized Bug-Out-Bag. It holds a decent amount of stuff for its size, plus it expands quite a bit too! Heck, for $40 bucks, it's awesome!!!Good build quality, decent zippers and nice shoulder & waist straps... it's a great bag, and I haven't had any issues with it."

"I used this bag for a week long sniper class during heavy rains. It was drug through the mud, rolled down hills and stuffed full of gear. The bag and the zippers held up great. One of the buckles came off, but was easily put back on. The bag is definitely not water resistant in the heavy rain, but I am very satisfied with how it has held up over the last several months. I would definitely recommend this bag for police sniper missions."

"I just received this bag and I have to say that for the price it isn't too shabby a bag. Being a Marine I have put my gear to the test and I like quality gear that will hold up over rigorous punishment. This bag leaves me questioning whether it will or won't stand up. It has a good size pouch to carry a bladder. The other compartments are large and will hold a good amount of gear, but I wouldn't use this for more than a day as the straps feel awkward and are a bit small for an average man. I went to check the website of the maker of this product, Condor Outdoor, to see if they had replacement straps that might be a bit larger to find out that they are a wholesaler. It is a good pack for Day trips and Day assaults if you can get past the straps or youre a smaller individual. It is also a good price. I will have to test it out further but a good buy ."

"I purchased this bag during my Operation Iraqi Freedom tour 05-06. I used this bag for several missions and purposes. It was a "overnight bag" when we had to be out for long periods of time, a medic bag, "a poggie bait" bag for long humvee rides, and I used it for my R&R leave bag. This bag has held up well throughout this tour. It even made my next tour in Iraq. The main cargo pocket zipper broke not long after returning to iraq. However, I was very impressed with it. It does have a plastic smell to the bag that i cannot get rid of. The bag came out of the box with this odor. However It is worth the money!"

"This a darn great bag!!! I teach a survival course in Florida. I tell everyone I teach in my courses to get one of these puppies. It is not the biggest bag ever, but can not be beat for the price. This bag is TOUGH AS NAILS!!! And it fits some of my old alice gear. I love it."

"I recieved this pack about three days ago, and was very impressed with the layout. It came brand new out of the bag/box, and was very compact with all the attachment points in good order. If you are planning on throwing alot of stuff inside of it, dont get it because it is very compact, and can only fit a limited amount of items in it. I bought it for that purpose though. I only needed something that can last for a morning/afternoon hunt and it will serve its purpose greatly. I also bought the Molle shootering rest that attaches to the pack, and it fits on very snug. It so far has been very useful."

"Having used this pack every day for three weeks, I can say I like the pack itself. The main compartment is large enough to hold books with the many other compartments plentyful and strong enough to carry anything I would put in them. The zippers are large and strong. Each pull comes with a tie on the end for easy handling. The problem is with the shoulder straps. The are flimsy, unstable, and falls off when I have it slung over one shoulder. The manufacture should consider beefing up the girth of these straps, and fixing them directly to the bag. As opposed to attaching the straps to the bag via nylon ribbon."

"I just received this bag today and I was surprised (pleasantly) to find that it was made by a renowned tactical gear company, although it's about $20 cheaper here on CTD! The pack I received is slightly different than pictured in that it has 4 rows of PALS webbing instead of 2, which means more MOLLE compatibility than I expected. The stitching is stout, the zippers are thick and tough, and the pulls are sturdy webbed nylon. The cinch straps along the sides, bottom, and back make it easy to tighten the pack down so that it's doesn't sway or bounce on the trail - meaning it's not only more comfortable, but quieter as well. The shoulder straps are wide and thick, making them surprisingly comfortable even with 25 lbs. of gear pulling down. It's definitely a medium-sized pack, but you can really cram a lot of gear in this thing - right now mine has maps/trail guides, 2 rain ponchos, a field shovel, axe, rubber mallet, trail saw, batteries, flashlight, digital camera, Glock 22, one magazine, pens, a few surplus straps, eight bottles of water (love the water tight PVC lining), CLIF bars, 2 hobo tools, a multi-tool, and a pair of binoculars ... and there's still plenty of space! I'd say this thing is perfect for two day hikes, but with the MOLLE compatibility this could easily become a 3 or 4 day pack. I can't wait to field test it this weekend!"

"The back pack is not exactly the same as the one in the picture, but I think it looks better, plus it does the same job. Very spacious, using it as a BOB and for hiking. It has great ergonomics. And is quite comfortable to wear, unlike the Jansport I was using before. 5 bullets!"

"If you put even a little tension on the zippers, they break. There are 2 zippers on each compartment, I put two Glock pistol tupperware boxes in mine and some ammo, when I tried to zip it up POP! zipper 1 breaks in two. grab the other zipper POP! it breaks in 2! Center compartment now useless, pack essentially useless. I took the remains of one zipper and found that i can easily break the "metal" zipper up into pieces with light finger pressure. Something is REALLY wrong with theses zippers, they are brittle like a day old cookie. This just amazes me because everything else on these packs is awesome. Strong nylon straps and buckles, tons of pockets and tiedowns. A pack is useless because these zippers are so brittle and weak!"

"Bought one of these for a hunting pack. Mainly for bowhunting. I like that the pack is not huge. It's a good size for a day pack. It seems pretty good quality. Heavy duty straps and zippers. Its very comfortable and is very adjustable...holds tight to my back. However I did not like the shoulder strap system. It is comfortable, I am just not sure of the single strap connected to the padded strap. We shall see how it holds up. Overall I am more than pleased. Good deal for the price. I gave it 4 stars only because of the different style of shoulder straps that I am unsure of."

"Purchased this bag a few years ago and have abused it to no end. So far I have not had a single issue other than the bag being to small for what I try to stuff in it occasionally. No broken zips, buckles, or seams! I think the shoulder straps kind of suck and I have not been able to get any size hydro bladder worth using to fit(2L and 3L) so if your buying it with the intention of using it like a camelbak dont buy it. Also if you are taller, like 6ft or over the straps will be very hard to adjust to where they are comfy but tall people are used to inconvenient fits LOL. Also I have had no issue with the molle attachment straps and have covered my pack in pouches also full of gear.Overall this bag is a killer 1 or 2 day gear bag and is incredibly durable. I gave it a four because of the strap configuration and the hydro bladder bs."

"I am using this as a "grab and go" bag. In my line of work we can be called at a any time to go and its nice to have a bag that I know I have the essentials in. Big enought to fit the basics but small enough not to make it a pain. I've read that people are having issues with the zippers, they must have fixed them, mine are strong and haven't broke and they are constantly pushed to the max.Would definatley recommend."

"I bought two of these: one for me and one for my son for school. After some home modifications the packs seem to work great for what they are made for. They aren't for the hard weekender, these are made for the daytripper and as a good backpack if you dont have much to carry. I would recommend to anyone that makes this a purchase sew the straps in with some leather thread and get rid of the excess, that way when your walking the straps dont move on you. But, overall a good made product. Thanks, CTD!"

"I purchased this pack based on a desire to have a BOB/Daypack and on a recommendation from a friend. I must say I am amazed at this pack, and it came clearly marked and labeled as VooDoo Tactical, although it is my understanding CTD has a few companies making them. There are a lot of compartments to store all your camping, shooting, survival goods, and plenty of pockets inside those compartments to keep maps, targets, tarps, etc. The shoulder straps feel pretty comfy for a small pack. The stitching all around the pack looks pretty good, although the D rings where the shoulder straps hook into at the bottom could surely use more than one line of stitch going through them, I might add more at a later date if it becomes a problem. The only reason I dont give it 5 bullets is because the way that the shoulder straps are attached at the top of the pack could have been better done with different plastic buckles, or even stitched in permanent, but I understand the design was to allow a person to wear over top of armor/heavy clothing. I can't wait to get out for a day trip with this pack, It will hold all I need probably even for an overnight hike. I have no regrets purchasing this bag, and CTD has the best price around!"

"This bag is great. I have taken this bag everywhere and it is great. It even gets better with a bladder. Keep in mind, it is a day pack and not a 72 hr pack, so it's not made to carry 50 lbs of whatever. It sits snug (when everything is compressed) on a jog. I am buying another ASAP!"

"I was pleased with this bag, but the straps aren't that great. Still, I use it as a B.O.B. and it serves fine. Holds nearly all of my gear (can't fit my tent or sleeping bag, but then again 99.99% of bags won't either). I used the straps on the sides of the bag to carry my SOG Fusion Tomahawk and added a MOLLE medic pouch to the back for extra first aid supplies. I would recommend this bag to anyone but still wish the straps were better quality."

"I read a lot of the reviews for this pack and was a bit hesitant because several people said they were cheaply made. I ordered three for my boys for Christmas and couldn't be more pleased. The packs that I received are extremely well-made and are very good quality. They were tagged with "Condor" company tags. All the seams are sticthed strong and the zippers are ruggedly tough. The material is also very strong and durable. There's more pockets on the inside of the different compartments, so you can store and effectively organize a lot of small gear too. Several people complained about the straps, but They are not bad at all. Remember, this is a medium-sized pack and is not made for carrying a weeks worth of gear, so the straps don't need to support a 70lb rucksack. This is more like a 2-day assualt pack, and will only be carrying that kind of weight. So the straps are sufficient in my opinion. For a light-duty pack, you can not go wrong with this pack. I love them and so did all three of my boys!"

"I purchased this pack in OD green. It is a little smaller than I expected. I have a Coleman Day Pack that carries much more for a lot less money. The lack of real MOLLE webbing on the sides prevents one from adding more than the smallest of pouches. If I were to do it again, I would look at the urban go pack, which has MOLLE attachment points on the waist belt."

"The bag is small, which can be a good thing if you just want something for a day hike or roaming around the city. My big issue with it is that the padding is extremely uncomfortable compared to other bags I've worn. Its easy to get really hot and sweaty wearing the bag and it doesn't ventilate on your back or shoulders very well. If you try to load 15+ lbs into it, you'll realize that its pretty uncomfortable when it has weight in it. I typically carry 30+ lbs, so this bag isn't that great. I do give it a ++ for having webbing and tension straps, but it clearly wasn't designed for outdoors or survival use."

"I bought this bag for my dad to use while we were skiing at Mammoth and Snowbird for 3 weeks. The bag worked out great, its small enough you don't have to take it off while getting on the lift and holds enough snacks and supplies that you don't need to head back to the lodge until the end of the day. I have a North Face ski backpack myself and I have to say I think his was as good and looked cooler to boot. He had no problems with zippers or the straps. Anyone who was unhappy because they wanted something that could hold a lot of weight or work for long trips obviously didn't read the description carefully. Perfect for a day trip, hike, ski whatever!"

"I bought this pack for a trip to DC several weeks ago and I am very satisfied with it. The idea was to use it as my carry on for the flight and as a carry around while touring. It worked flawlessly. I was able to carry enough bottled water and food for me, my wife, my daughter and son-in-law while we hoofed around the Mall and all the monuments. Where it really shined though was when we went a some hiking expeditions around Virgina and Maryland. The wide padded shoulder straps and hip strap are real shoulder savers when you load in water, food, ponchos, and uh dare I say a couple of bottles of wine. With all the compartments and pockets this "little" guy has replaced my brief case and is now my daily hauler."

"When I ordered the bag it came within a couple days and I was expecting mediocracy, but the bag was the best bag I had ever owned and I owned alot of bags. If you are planning on using this bag on an everyday basis then you picked the right bag. I use it almost everyday and I carry alot of stuff in it and I still have tons of room for more. You won't go wrong with this bag. I'm thinking about getting a couple more for my kids. Oh yeah, I've also shopped around before i bought this bag and i ended up buying this bag, should I say more?"

"This pack is great. A little smaller than I expected, but not a problem! I didn't want a giant ruck sack. I've got this packed to the gills with knives, gadgets, a camel back 100oz. water bladder, thermal blankets, ponchos, flares, glowsticks, etc. You get the idea. Nice load-bearing chest and waste harness built in. I had a strap come off a zipper, but that's human error on my part. Great for any bug out bag enthusiast!"

"Decent pack. Expands to fit a surprising amount of stuff. Small, but large enough to take care of the needs of a 72 hr bag for me. Only complaint: site does not show size of hydration compartment. Will only fit a 70 oz bladder; not my 100 oz. Also, the zippers are plastic and sort of cheap feeling. I worry about their durability. Other than those issues, this seems like a solid pack at a good price."

"NOT MADE FOR EXTREMELY HEAVY ITEMS DUE TO SHOULDER STRAPS NOT BEING REINFORCED. THERE ARE OTHER PACKS FOR THAT. THIS ONE IS PERFECT TO TAKE MY PAPERWORK, SOME WORK ITEMS SUCH AS FLASHLIGHT, SAFETY VEST, FOOD AND DRINK TO A JOB SITE FOR A 12 HOUR SHIFT. IT IS ABSOLUTELY WORTH THE CHEAP PRICE!!! I RECOMMEND IT FOR LIGHT TO MEDIUM WEIGHT ITEMS."

"This bag is perfect for all of your bug out material. I fit 100 rds of .40 S&W still in the box, stove in a can, medical kit, three folding knives, two paracord bracelets, 20 ft of paracord, medical kit, 2 lbs of rice, one insta meal, 1 lb of pasta, snacks, ramen noodles, six heat packets, and several other bug out essentials. 4 bullets because it is a made by a company that I have never heard of, Condition 1. Other than that, the bag seams sturdy, the zippers are solid, no tears while literally stuffing all that gear into the bag, also the compression straps are a must. Two Bug Out Bags in one, gotta say way better. Thanks, CTD!!"

"I bought four of these; three in OD and one in coyote tan. I've now had them in the woods for three days straight. I've left my bigger "go-bag" behind and traveled with only this bag and been very pleased overall. Mine carries cold-weather hunting gear (long johns, hood, hunting masks, two pairs of gloves) and the main pouch still has plenty of room left to be used. The middle pouch has two full MREs and still has room left over. The bladder pouch comfortably holds my two liter water bladders and the straps are convenient for running the tube through. The front pouch has a variety of gear, bullets, etc. I even purchased a 3-mag holster in MOLLE and using the pals webbing, connected it seamlessly to the front of the bag. I've sat in a deer stand with it for 5 to 6 hours comfortably and used it as a barrel rest while hunting from the ground. Love it.The zippers are RUGGED as can be, as is the material it's made of.My only complaint is the compression straps. All of the compression straps are secured with cheap, plastic buckles. My top buckle snapped the very first day and now I know to be really easy on the others. This really doesn't affect the durability of the bag, but I wish the buckles could easily be replaced with something stronger, or with metal ones. All in all, I have four of these. My friends all wanted one when I got mine. If there were more to order, I'd get even more of them!"

"This is not a bad pack as long as you realize the size you are getting. It's a good day pack. My only complaint is that the padding on the strap does not really cover your shoulder of you are wearing it right."

"It is as advertised and the quality is okay. Don't expect this to be your go-to pack. For me, it works great as an over sized grab bag for week end trips to hold medication, toiletries and a change or two of clothes. It replaced a small duffle bag because of its multiple compartments."

"Well good made pack, these other reviews about the zippers is why I was a little hesitant about buying it, however I stuffed it"

"I can't express how disappointed I was when I received this back pack. I will say that although the construction looks tight, IT IS TINY. The picture is very misleading. I am 6 foot tall and look stupid with this thing on. It looks like it was made for a pre-teen. It really needs to be twice as large to be respectable and have the ability to carry anything besides a sandwich."

"Bought as a new 2 to 3 day travel pack and plane carry on. Good zippers, and webbing. plastic buckles could be a little heavier if you are going to use this in a heavy duty situation. Comfortable straps. 2 inches bigger in height and width would make it perfect."

"Cannot be beat for the money...Its not a 'Big' bag by any means but lots of compartments good padding. Seems to be VERY well made, good zippers and straps. Could be used for just about anything, gun range gear, bug out stuff or a day pack at Disney land. May get Another. Again, for the money you can't mess this up!"
