"I love this back pack. It holds a surprisingly large amount of gear. It makes for an awesome day pack and fits very well. You can customize all the straps to make it fit just how you like. There are also no logos on it so it is authorized to wear in uniform. The pack fits very well in the middle of your back so you don't have to worry about it being wider than you are. The only thing I would change is take off the nylon across the Velcro on the upper pocket. There is no real point of having the nylon there, but the Velcro is nice to have for labeling and holding ACU patches. The shoulder straps are nice and comfortable. There is a chest/sternum strap that keeps them in place as well. I would gladly buy this again, but I won't have to because it is very well constructed and extremely rugged."
"I've seen this pack sell elsewhere for 2 and 3 times as much. Very well made. Strong, good zippers, good stitching. Lots of pockets and Molle webbing. Fantastic deal."
"This is a great backpack. I bought it last at the start of 06 and have used it everyday since. I am a college student a use it as a school backpack. I also use the bag for hiking and traveling. This pack does hold a considerable amount of stuff. It is extremely durable. The fabric is thick and the zippers wide and tough. This is one of the most adjustable packs I have ever seen. It will fit to your body exactly how you want it. A great advantage also having small pockets within the pack with room even for a hydration bladder. I bought a second one because I liked the first so much. I won't need to buy another bag for many many years I'm sure. This is a great bag at a very reasonable price."
"This is best day pack you can get! Small and convenient size, but seems to hold all your gear, great tough fabric with wide opening and strong zippers. The straps are fully adjustable so you can make it fit like it should and you can remove the straps you don't like. Since it has the Molle webbing, you can add more pouches outside it you something specific you want quick access to. Really nice pack, hope the make them in more colors soon!"
"I bought this about 8 months ago. It's great for compartmentalizing your gear, but the shoulder strap broke within a couple of weeks. It was the little plastic clip at the top. I tied the strap to the remaining piece and it lasted another few months. It is now tied to a metal D ring that I can't figure out the purpose for, but now it has one."
"Within two months of purchasing this pack, it started disintegrating. The zipper to the main compartment broke, and the fabric started separating at the seams in 2 places. The stitching was fine but the fabric seems to have failed. That said, I love the design of this pack and think it is the best I have ever used. So I am ordering a new one, hoping that my first was some kind of manufacturing fluke. Fool me twice?"
"I got this pack about a year and a half ago, for everyday use around campus and hiking. It easily holds all my school supplies, as well as a compact 'bug-out kit' I've fashioned from a MOLLE pouch, and when hiking I can add a couple Nalgene bottles and a first aid kit with no problem. I've never tested it's load capacity, but it seems to easily handle 40lbs., despite the lack of internal frame. I also love the numerous compression straps on the sides, back, and bottom, as they really help in relieving strain on the zippers - while they seem to be of good quality, even the best zippers break under enough pressure. The only actual complaint I have, is that the D-rings holding the shoulders straps on are amde of plastic, not aluminum or steel. After a few weeks, one of them snapped and almost hit someone, and after that I cut the others off myself to save trouble. I've replaced them all with metal clips from the 'Dome Hepot', and have never had a problem with the pack since."
"I bought two of these packs, one for me and one for my son. He used it for school and I used mine for work. Neither pack lasted more than a few months before coming apart, the shoulder straps and the plastic M buckles are the weaknesses. Both packs broke down and within a short period of time we both wound up tossing the packs."
"I purchased this pack about a year ago, it's holding up quite well. I'm a police officer on an SRT (Special Response Team) and utilize the pack as a Medic Bag, the compartments work perfect for all the trauma gear. I crammed a lot of crap into this pack and so far it's held its own."

"I bought this bag and its design is absolutly perfect. The one big issue is the material. the clips on the straps both snapped. I had to have one permently sewn on, and the other is tied. the inside mesh in the top part is also problematic. With that said its still a magnificent design and i use it all over the world."
"I bought this pack a year ago and about four months ago the zippers starting giving way. If you've never seen this pack, you'll know that's nothing but zippers. If it's covered with zippers, and the zippers don't hold, then the pack can't hold, ANYTHING!"
"This pack is horrible. The zippers busted within three months. Very cheap. If you think you are getting something that is compariable to the Military you aren't. DO NOT BUY THIS ITEM!!!"
"good design and concept. great functionality. poor materials, especially zippers and buckles. Have had it 3 months now. I use it for work; laptop, tools and misc items. Everything fits and is very practical. Lots of options with molle straps. Am concerned though that I'll eventually snap off one of the plastic buckles or zippers. If you buy this, it looks great, but be careful. Don't sling it around or yank on the zippers or straps. If you've read all the other reviews, just remember it's not a $100-200 pack you are buying."

"This is the best pack I have ever used.................... plenty of packing space buy it and see for yourself."
"I have owned my black pack for a couple of years now. For the first few it was good and carried a light load nicely. After a year I had need to up the load and use it more extensively and that is when troubles arose. The use of plastic clips, O-rings and D-rings on the shoulder staps and waist strap are a bad idea. The are not as strong as the canvas straps and eventually straing them to the breaking point. I have had to replace both upper strap attachments with metal D-rings and now am looking for a decent clip for the wast belt. Other than that it is a solid pack and short of the week points carries a load well. When then water bladder pouch is empty of a bladder it gives additional carry space. I usually keep my A-shelter in it. That is a heavy poncho and the zip cord tent polls modified to make it a rectangular umbrella. It gives excellent extra padding on the back for long term carry use.Good pack but bad choice of clips and strap holders."
"This pack will hold a lot more than it looks like. I use it a lot, and have been pretty impressed so far. The only problem I have had is that the plastic buckle at the top of the strap cracked and broke. I had someone sew the straps to the backpack at the top attachment points, and that solved the problem. The insulated hydration bladder compartment is very nice. It keeps your back warm in the winter. I also like the fact that it is covered with straps on the outside. You can attach practically anything. It also has velcro so you can attach one of those ID panels on the back if you want to. Pretty tough bag for the money."
"This pack is a weak Imitation, made by a company called CONDOR. The stitching is POORLY done. The Craftsmanship is worthless. Read the reviews. LOOK on line and your better off spending the extra money and getting a quality pack. The design is great. BUT THE QUALITY OF THIS PACK IS VERY POOR!"
"Got this pack a week ago and the top seam started to pull apart. Plenty of pockets to use but the cheap construction ruins it. I decided to go with the heavy duty Maxpedition version"
"I have had this pack for about a year and a half and i use it for a rope rescue access bag. in the large compartment i carry medical supplies, in the middle pocket i carry 50' of 1/2\" lifeline access rope, the molle loops are great for carbiners and the small pockets hole other misc. tools and webbing and gloves. i have read some of the other reviews and i have not had any of the problems with quality. i use this for Silo access and it works great."
"I bought this pack 2 years ago and overall it's a great. The pack itself holds up well however one of the plastic clips for the shoulder straps broke and the third tier lower pocket had one of the two zippers break all within the first year. I ended up tying the shoulder strap onto a carabiner to which I attached it to the pack, and the pocket works just fine with only the one zipper usable. I've used the pack to haul Rope Rescue Equipment, Medical Supplies, as a Bug-Out-Bag, and on 2 to 3 Day hikes. All to which this pack has held up great. You can't beat a pack like this for the price, don't let the other reviews fool you. Treat this pack right or even rough and you'll get a decent use out of it, no doubt."

"I received this pack from CTD in a timely fashion. I believe the pack that I got was manufactured by Condor Outdoor. I have a feeling that CTD sources these bags from different manufacturers that offer the same style bag. First impressions of this pack are quite good. I'm going to venture and say some of the bad reviews for this pack must be from a inferior manufacturer. I've only had this bag for about 2 months and have yet to put it through its paces. The primary plan for this bag is to use it for a BOB bag (which is still in the works). So far, the materials, stitching, zippers and build quality overall seem really good. I was afraid of the some of the reviews about the zippers being weak and the plastic webbing clips used for the straps were bad. While the zippers on my pack on are not YKK, they seem to be more than adequate and don't seem to be weak at all. The plastic webbing clips seem to be sturdy enough. The pack is great for organization, with lots of separate compartments and organizers. My only gripe with the bag would be better shoulder straps. The shoulder strap padding material seems kind of on the thin and cheap side. Also, the straps in my opinion are a little short. The pack doesn't fit me as nicely as my Camelbak Sigma but I guess that's to be expected at this price point. The manufacturer could definitely make the shoulder straps more ergonomic and made with better padding material. That being said, for the price, I think this bag is still a great value."
"i love this bag and use it every day for all sorts of things, great design and most of it is really tough, but all of the plastic buckles have broken off in the few years that i have had it."
"this is a great pack its worked every time iv takein it on hikes and just plain camping and it got the job done this is a great pack"
"I have had the pack for roughly a month. The small pack has a lot of compartments and has a lot of great features. my problem with this pack is the construction. the straps are not secure and are easily lost. the zippers are strong but the metal latches quickly fall off. The pack works, but the construction definitely leaves a lot to desire. it works if you can keep all the parts from falling off or breaking."

"Looks awesome, and was cheap! But its worthless for anything more than an MRE and a change of clothes. This pack fell apart on me, and left me hanging.Buckles/stitching fell apart. Molle webbing is flimsy and would not hold anything tightly to the pack.I would not recommend this to anyone who will REALLY need or USE it. I should have adding another $40 to this price and bought a different one. Oh well."
"This bag is a great bag lot of compartments, nice and strong exept the staps kept falling off but I fixed that.It keep water out very nicely.I have not had any problems with the zippers like all the other people over all great pack."
"overall great bag, lots of space as needed, water tite zippers, hydro slot could have been placed better, good for anyone who is an out door enthusiast!!!!verry versitile!!!!Great VALUE!!!!!"
"I bought one of these packs three years ago at a local gun show. Mine is made by Condor and I have had zero, I repeat zero problems with it. I used it as a backpack and laptop bag in highschool as well as a bag for camping trips and road trips. I'm now in the United States Marine Corps and still using it. It has good construction and is very reliable. The only problem I've found is that there are dozens of compression straps and not enough places to secure them, so there's usualy straps hanging down. Overall great pack as long as you get the real thing. All I can say is take care of it, and it'll take care of you."
"I've had this pack for several weeks now. Mine is well made. It's not the most confortable pack I've ever had, but the quality makes up for it. For $40, it's not a bad buy."
"A very nice small backpack. Expandable with 5 compression straps and lots of molle webbing."
"I just recieved this bag in the mail to be mostly used as a new school backpack to carry 2-4 thick textbooks, a netbook, a binder or two and office supplies. The chest/waist straps should make this bag easy to use when I take a road cycle to school approx. 8 miles away. I plan to also use this as a day bag for some hiking through the summer but may need one a bit larger."
"I purchased this pack about one year ago. I am a firefighter and I have been using this pack as a secondary pack along side of my turn out gear bag. It has held up nicely and I would recommend this to anyone looking for a good midsize field pack."
"I use this as a school/hiking bag. For school it fits my binder, textbooks and lab work. It also holds all my pens/pencils etc. For hiking it holds my water bladder, extra sweater, and socks. I still have more room to put all extra clothing articles. It is a great price."
"Garbage...a very well designed pack but cheaply made. Buckles and zippers keep breaking. Regret buying"
"When I first got this was nervous because of what all the bad reviews said about this. Once I got it, I had other people look it over to make sure I wasn't crazy. No one said anything bad. I have had it for 2 months and not run into any problems with it. Even thought about picking another one."
"I bought this to use a school/travel/work bag. It feels to be made out of a heavy duty material. Mine is made by Voodoo Tactical. All the D-rings on it are made of metal but there are plastic tri-glides and buckles. Only time will tell if they will hold up of not. This pack has surprisingly large capacity. Which brings me to the only flaw i have found so far: the shoulder straps. They are very wide, which makes them function very well with weight distribution. I put my laptop inside and was barely able to feel it there, this is not the case with many other bags that I have used for schooling. This also makes them somewhat uncomfortable for me as I have a rather wide neck. They are not so uncomfortable that I will be returning it but I will definitely know that I am wearing this pack. Also there is Velcro on the top pouch which came as a great surprise to me. I now have a place to put the Stars and Strips."
"Received this Pack last week and wanted to go through it very well before posting a comment.. My comment about this pack is \"IT'S AN AWESOME PACK \"! I can't beleive the amount you can put into this pack..I actually purchased this pack for my wife as a Bug Out Bag and she loves it !!! If you don't want the bigger packs as I have this would be a great purchase for anyone, small but nice size and can handle a lot... Get ya one, you will love it.."
"This Pack is as nice as any $80.00 pack I've owned and a true bargin at $40.00 bucks. The one I received is made by Condor and is very well made. I would buy again."
"Great small pack. I bought this pack to carry my equipment from patrol car to patrol car after mine was wrecked. It easily held my laptop, ticket books, accident drawing supplies, camera a small medical pouch I carry. I haven\uFFFDt had any problems at all."
"I'm in Afghanistan right now and received my order very quickly! This backpack is worth every dime! Buy it!"
"It is a nice BOB for the essentials. The capacity of the 4 compartments totals 24 liters. So it is not a \"big\" backpack. But with right Molle add on you can increase this some. Great design in that it lets you separate the different types of gear. Remember, pack light. The longer you wear your pack, the heavier it gets."
"I read a lot of the reviews for this pack and was a bit hesitant because several people said they were cheaply made. I ordered three for my boys for Christmas and couldn't be more pleased. The packs that I received are extremely well-made and are very good quality. They were tagged with \"Condor\" company tags. All the seams are sticthed strong and the zippers are ruggedly tough. The material is also very strong and durable. There's more pockets on the inside of the different compartments, so you can store and effectively organize a lot of small gear too. Several people complained about the straps, but They are not bad at all. Remember, this is a medium-sized pack and is not made for carrying a weeks worth of gear, so the straps don't need to support a 70lb rucksack. This is more like a 2-day assualt pack, and will only be carrying that kind of weight. So the straps are sufficient in my opinion. For a light-duty pack, you can not go wrong with this pack. I love them and so did all three of my boys!"
"I use this for my range bag. It works great. No rips or tears yet. A good product!"
"Well, just received the pack today. Very thick material with plenty of pockets, compartments..... Nice size for a BOB. My main disappointment is that the zippers are plastic and not very smooth to open and close. This could be an issue at some point. I think the key is to be cautious with packing and not overstretch them, time will tell."
"This is a great pack. I bought it for a BOB, and it suits me fine. The zips are strong, and there is plenty of room. I've got it packed with around 12 lbs of gear, and it's not full. This includes a folding stove, sterno, emergency rations, etc. I don't use it as an EDC bag (although you could). I keep it in the closet until I get on the road. The shoulder straps are a little thin, but so far, no probs. I'm getting another one for a range bag."
"I bought this pack after a friend at work had bought a digital backpack, and after I examined his, and became very, very jealous. Before he brought his pack in, I thought they were just over-rated and foolish, but then I was wrong. He had everything he needed to survive a weeks worth outdoors on his own. I quickly came to the conclusion that, since I'm an avid hiker, and was limited on what I could carry, I needed one too. Simple concept, if you could carry more you could go further. Since I was limited on money and picky on the style of my soon to be pack, I had to go with Level III Assault Backpack in BLACK, since it matched my mock-commie/play uniform, it was perfect! When i got it it came in new condition, and has MOLLE capabilities, so I put my flak goggles on the top small pack and on the lower MOLLE attachments i plan to put a MOLLE-med pack. The pack is very comfortable to wear and doesn't impeed performance, when walking or running through the woods. It's durable and seems to have a hidden compartment on the part that has the cushioning so a hydration bladder can be easily inserted. The 50 lbs. limit is good. I can carry a weekend of supplies, and can be pushed to 60 lbs. with no hesitation thanks to the mollie hook ups. A great product overall, but it seems a bit pricey, but I'm happy with it. Another great CTD item. Thanks, CTD!"
"When I first received the bag, I was super impressed with the quality and beauty, but wait, I had a damaged product, no problem just one call solved it all. So after a couple of hours of looking at how cool and durable it is, I had to package it up and send it back (sad face). Thanks for the nice service & quick response to my issue; now I have my new bag and I'M HAPPY AS EVER. I'm really diggin' this bag!!!"
