"I just placed this scope on my ruger 10/22. The scope performes well, only problem I have is at 50 yards the dot is the same size as the outer ring of my target, making it tricky to fine tune. Works great for hunting small game though. Overall am pleased with this product."

"I has used this product on my CQC platform SR-16, the scope itself is quite good for indoors, but at longer ranges, it is somewhat lacking. The body of these things can take quite a pounding, sand, wind, rain, and recoil from 7.62 and below. My Issues 1-The flip-up len's covers always loose the metal pins that it comes with, I just replaced these with a metal pins with a larger one and solved the issue. 2-Also if the power in the battery is less then half, the dot will fade. Thus why this product gets a 3 out of 5. ~Randal T."

"This is a nice and cheap scope. The pins on the flip up covers pop out. You will have to replace them with some creative engineering. I got pretty good groups with it at 75 yards for the price."

"For the money this is a pretty decent scope. The reason for the 4 bullet rating. Dont get me wrong being that it is a Leapers scope it will do the job just fine, but it really is a great value compared to some of the lesser quality Red Dots out there that cost more. My only issue thus far is the crispness of the Red/Green dot reticle itself. However that is to be expected at the price. Only the vastly more expensive Red Dot scopes will have a very fine and crisp dot."

"i completely agree with Zach."

"Tried this scope on a 10 meter air pistol with horrible results. The problem turned out to be that parallax was causing the point of impact to move all over the target. Have not tried other red dot scopes that also claim to be parallax-free, but this one is definitely not. It may work better with rifles (shorter eye relief) but will not work on pistols!Quality seemed good, otherwise."
4.0 5
"I mounted this scope on my SP-8 paintball gun. That's right; paintball! It worked great and was wickedly accurate. Now my best friend wants one too. The reticle could be clearer, but you won't find a better bang for your buck."

"This is an update for this scope. After the first review I noticed the battery was dead. I assumed it was from the vendor and old. I put a new battery in and the next morning (leaving it OFF all night) it did the same thing. After one more battery try (3 now) I gave up. It's an OK scope but if you really need it and your battery is dead it doesn't do you much good. Cheaper than Dirt issued an RMA, so that is good."

"i have two of the Leapers SWAT Force Red dot sights for my air soft guns and they are fantastic they are relible and the battery duration is sufficent and i hav much faster target Acquisition i highly recemend theses sights for a airsoft gun or pellet/BB gun"

"this is a perfect addition to my ruger 10/22 for varmint huntin at average range but for you serious target shooters the dot may be too big to get a bullseye group after about 50 yards.for the price though its more than enough for my varmint needs."
4.0 5
"I got this for my paintball gun. It is made of metal, is built pretty well, and overall feels very solid. Sure the flip up lens covers could be more durable, and the dot more crisp, but that's OK. Choice of color and brightness is very nice. My main complaint is this. The dot moves with relation to the position of your eyeballs. So for example you fix the gun in place, with the dot on target. As you move your head around, the dot will move around off target, even if the gun has not moved. This means you must be very consistant with how you look through the sight for it to remain accurate. Even then, it will always be somewhat off because you can never look through it EXACTLY the same every time. For paintball, this is plenty accurate. plinking at short ranges, ok. But if you need serious accuracy or consistency (real hunting vs. varmint shooting)... keep moving. If you need a good low cost site for a pellet gun, BB gun, paintball gun, or .22... You will probably be pleased."

"I purched this combo red/green dot scope a couple months ago. It worked great for the time being. I put on my RPK LMG and i guess from all the rapid fire that i like to the green settings on my scope no longer work and the red ones shut off all the time and i keep on having to turn it on constantly. plus the bateries dont last long and my flip up lense caps fell apart. The spring and pin that holds the caps up fell out and now i have to take them on and off manualy. i would not recomend this if u have high calaber weapon and u like to burn up ammo like i like to do its not built to with stand all of the recoil when sooting rapid fire. 223 cal and under it works great no 762.39 or 762.54R"

"mounted this on my ak47 went to the shooting range ,tweeked and shot over 1000 rounds, damn still accurate, no adjustments ,good product. a must buy, thanks cheaper than dirt!!"

"Nice scope seen the same scope at the gun show for twice the price.Have yet to use it but seems to be a very high quality scope soon to find out. Thanks CTD"

"I bought this red/green dot scope to go on my Hi-Point 40 cal. carbine.Hi-Point is an inexpensive gun and I didn't want to put an expensive scope on it. I was impressed with the Hi-Point and I am equally impressed with this scope. In my opinion it is well worth the money I think it is worth more but am glad it only cost what it does. I do not know how it will work on a higher recoiled rifle but I will be finding out soon."

"Best low price sight Ive ever seen. I love this little Leapers red/green dot. I have it mounted on my M4 and its great. It is perfect for a low budget sight for plinking and target practice. Mine consistently puts rounds on target on my six inch plate at 100 yrds. I have had this little baby mounted on top of my M4 for about a year now and she stays zeroed and holds up just fine with real ammunition fired from a real rifle. I have not used it in inclement weather so I dont know how it will do in the rain and fog but I have shot with it in the snow and in high heat and it shoots great. It does not have an auto off or shut down feature but the batteries work well enough for a couple of days on the range of about two or three hours per day. I highly recommend this sight if you arent willing or able to buy the higher end expensive brand names for your sporting arms."

"Bought it to put on my surplus yugo sks and it's GREAT Once zeroed it puts 1/2 inch groups at 100 yds. Took it off to store sks and put it back on later still Zeroed. Buy it."
2.0 5
"I purchased one of these 2 weeks ago. I put it on my M4. Took it to the range for the first time last Saturday. On the red setting it would not hold zero at all. 50 yards. I was shooting with the hand guard resting on a padded block of wood. Every shot was in a different place. I removed it and reinstalled the iron sights and shot a 2 inch group. It is not the gun, it is the red dot. I did not try it on the the green setting. For now it is sitting in the range bag. It will NOT go back on the gun. If I still had the receipt I would take it back to the store in Fort Worth."

"love this red dot on my sks extremely reliable"

"Great buy. this sight is well worth the money. i havent shot with this sight yet but it seems itll be really easy to use....cheaper than dirt is awesome!"

"I have 3 of these now. love them 1 on a walther g22 1 on sks and 1 on a bushmaster. I love them. For the price i dont see how you could go wrong. The only reason for 4 out of 5 is the m4 and sks have only about 200 rounds apiece. The Walther is somewhere around 3-4000. With no worries."
5.0 5
"This is the best deal I have found in a red/green dot sight. It was very easy to install, and zeroed in 6 rounds (3 2shot groups). It has held zero extreamly well, even when removed for cleaning. So far I hav used it for 20 hrs total on low setting and have as of yet to change the bat. Way to go CTD."
1.0 5
"This thing only lasted for about 60 rounds of 7.62x39 before the upper adjusting knob flew off. If you want a cheap red dot, go for a Millet."
3.0 5
"i bought this red and green dot scope for my DPMS AR-15 and havent used the scope yet but my uncle has one on his mini 14 and it works great. i love the multi dot function as well...hope this helps"
1.0 5
"This piece of crap didn't last 2 shots. I have it on a Mossberg 590, mounted to a top rail on the receiver. It is a lot of recoil, I guess, but after just one shot, shaking the gun violently was enough to make the dot cut out. The battery cover really doesn't like to go back on, either. The good- it is highly adjustable, and did hold zero when it worked. Otherwise, this is an embarassing optic to be seen with."
4.0 5
"once again i bought this scope for for DPMS-AR-15, i have fired 300 plus rounds out of my rifle with this scope on with no problems. only downfall is that i had to buy a rail raiser for my rifle because the dot could not reach over the front sight."
5.0 5
"1 year later, and 4 coyotes later fer the AKM and 2 Yotes fer the M4, and I might add, never have changed batteries yet, they both dis-mount and remount to zero, and are excellent @ 100 yrds! The red dot = 5" @ 100 yrds on target! I'm very happy, an the price, simply great! I like the red/green option as well as the brightness options. Over 100 yds I use a Mark lll Tacticle fer the AKM er a 4X20mm Baska gov design. Both are EXCELLENT!"
4.0 5
"Over 1200 rounds on my Beretta CX-4 Storm 9mm. I use green dot on lowest setting, have not replaced battery yet.No problems at all. I am about to buy another one for my Mini-14"
5.0 5
"i am blown away by this little leaper i can group 20 rounds @100 yards tight enough to cover it with your hand i will recomend it to anyone"
3.0 5
"I purchased 2 of these, one for my 10/22, and one for my G3 - just to see if it could handle it. It works great on my 10/22... the dot is pretty clear during the day light, however when it's low light, you do get some parallax aberrations - but you can still use it. Now, for the bad part - I never got it on my G3, the battery cap was welded on, I couldn't get it off, and I tore the hell out of the aluminum slot with a flat head applying GENEROUS downward force and turning it, it tore the aluminum to shreds before it budged, couldn't believe it. completely useless without a battery in it!"
1.0 5
"I've used this on several different firearms and it never worked right on any of them. The shot were all over the place and the dot would randomly turn itself on or off. I gave it to a friend and he reported similar problems, so he just threw it away. Given some of the positive reviews, it may be a quality control problem. So if you like to gamble, go for it - but I'd rather save my money for something better."
2.0 5
"I had this scope for about 9 months on a WASR-10, it worked great. Then suddenly the scope wouldn't zero anymore. It appears that the front parabolic reflector came loose from it's housing. It might just be my bad luck, but I wouldn't trust this scope. I'll be buying a more expensive one in the future."
5.0 5
"Put this sight on my Ruger 10/22 and has been great! Holds zero and takes some punishment from getting tossed in the truck for range shooting and varmint hunts. Don't know if it can take more recoil, but it works for a .22LR."
4.0 5
"Works ok on my .22 Ruger pistol. Minus 1/2 bullet for blurry dot, but otherwise very nice for 50' target matches. Stands up on the .38 spl also. Had it on my 12 gauge and it is none the worse for wear. From some of the other revues, I'll guess Quality Control might be spotty, but I got a good one. Looks cool too."
5.0 5
"Ok, after reading some of the other reviews, I was skeptical but gave it a chance. After all its priced great. I ordered it to use on my Colt AR-15. It sat low and in order to clear the front sight I purchased Item: ARR-125 to mount it on the handguard, which is the perfect spot for it and it looks great. I took the battery cover out and the caps for the dot adjustments and oiled the threads lightly. The battery is inside the large wheel on top and has an O-ring. Do not overtighten. This set up is working great on my rifle. I put about 500 rounds through the rifle with it and it is still zero'd and lighting up. This is an exceptional product for the price, dont be skeptical to purchase it. I rate it 110% combat ready."
5.0 5
"Bought this sight almost a year ago and am now writing a review and I have to say that i dont know what some of the fuss is about. this is a great scope. I put it on a bushmaster xm15 .223. I have removed it twiced to test sight picture and it works great. Ive only ever put one battery in it (It helps if you dont skimp on the type you buy) I've put about 1000 rounds thru it since i got it in. Its been dropped in dirt and sand, lasted the cold and has been knocked around, and it still operated as i had hoped. The only other scoped I've used better was my issued ACOG. Great buy, and Ill be getting another once i get my Golani for Xmas."

"More than anything else, I'm just so impressed with the speed that CTD sends out their orders, ordered friday & at my house on saturday, WTF!Moreover, the CCO was just as i thought it would be for the price, not a ultra clean green/red dot but, for what i need it for, it fits the bill nicely & looks the part!WEAPON SYSTEM COMPLETE!"
4.0 5
"I received the scope in 4 days! It was easy to install and figure out, and actually has a pretty decent dot. It is not perfect. It is just a tad fuzzy at high power levels which makes it a little tricky at 100 + yards. It is a lot better than I thought it would be, especially after reading some of the reviews. Perhaps it IS a quality control issue, or perhaps the buyer's were looking for a higher level of performance. "for the price" it is quite a lot better than it should be! It is still working fine after 1000+ rounds."
4.0 5
"I have had it a while now, and it is mounted on my Beretta CX4 Storm. It works great for the price. Still on target at about 75m."
5.0 5
"Two thumbs up!!! Took all of 5 minutes to install and read directions. Also came with two batteries (one for a spare). Very good quality for the price. Ordered it on a Wedesday and recieved it on Friday. Very bright on lowest setting and easy to follow instructions. Money well spent!!!"

"I bought this one week and I went too sight it in the next week. After shooting one mag and a half the sight quit working. I changed the battery and still had no dot. I guess you get what you pay for. I would not recommend this product."
4.0 5
"Great quality so far, Thanks!"
3.0 5
"This sight came in a nice little box with instructions and some sort of cleaning cloth and 2 batteries. I was pleased with the construction. I thought the scope was going to be blank with no manufacture markings but it does have a Leapers badge on one side. When I turn it on a high setting it looks like they're 5 or 6 tiny dots close together, not one dot. When turned to a low setting it looks like one dot. It fits on my rail with no issue or wobbles. The lens on the barrel side looks like its crooked for some reason. I am not sure if that's normal or the reason there is a multi-dot reticle on the high setting. I have yet to shoot with it. You do get what you pay for. I think I am going to save up the money for an EOtech."
5.0 5
"I've had this scope on my Marlin 60 .22LR for about 5 months now and after 2000rds its still going strong."
5.0 5
"I am impressed with such a great sight for the price! I put this on an H&K usc .45 carbine. I know its like putting plastic mags on a Lamborghini, but I found out I got a great bargain. It is easy and quick to use. The lense covers are better than I expected too. you can take them off or keep them on, and they are spring activated so when you flip them up they spring to the top and stay there. The dots are bright in both colors. It even stays zeroed after 100+ rds of fast shooting with my hard hitting powerful H&K .45 usc. I took it off once to see if it would stay zeroed, but it moved just a little and I had to move it just a few clicks, but hey, so what as long as you keep it on it works great!"
3.0 5
"Bought the scope 2 weeks ago, mounted it, inserted the "SIGHTMARK" laser bore sight. Dead on at 75 yards! Went to the range, off by a foot, 10 more rounds to dial it in, stayed good for 220 more. Worth the $30!!!!!"
5.0 5
"For the price it is a fantastic scope...definitely buy it."
5.0 5
"I bought it after I read the reviews hoping that I wouldn't get the bad one of the bunch. I just got it today and it only took one clip (11 rounds) to sight it in. I put it on my Savage Mark II .22. I had to go buy a mounting rail for the scope because my .22 didn't have one. The mounting rail for the Ruger 10/22 worked. Unfortunately, I could only put the scope on one mounting rail because it isn't long enough to reach both rails. It still worked great. I have only put 2 clips through, so I don't know how well it will hold it's accuracy. Right now I can put most of them within the black X. The dot on the scope is fantastic. I haven't used it at night, but in a sunny today the green worked great. I will be using it in a competition this month, and I think that it will do just fine. I haven't bumped it that much so I don't know how durable it is... It seems really sturdy. Anyway, I would totally recommend that you buy this red dot."
4.0 5
"It seems to be a very sturdy sight. Both red and green dots are very clear and vibrant at all intensities. It was installed on my SR22 with this is very accurate up to and past 100 yds. Well worth the money along with fast shipping!!!"
5.0 5
"I bought this for my pistol, but I had it mounted on a Sig 522 rifle briefly. It was much better than the Aimshot holograpic costing 3x's as much. Just bought another Leapers brand 1-4x to replace my Aimshot."
5.0 5
"I bought this scope a while back with the AK rail on the dust cover. After using a bore sight to dial in, I was getting a six inch group at 125 yards with a M70 Yugo no problem. Have no reservation on buying this sight at that price. You won't be disappointed."
5.0 5
"I use this on my DPMS AP-4 without any problems. I can hit a soda can at 100 yards all day."
3.0 5
"Good scope, nice size dot, love the red/green dot feature, looks and feel durable. I would definitely recommend for a beginner like myself. The only con I have is the dot doesn't stay centered like an Aimpoint (parallaxis free which means no matter where your eye is high or low left or right because of a cheek rest or head tilting to much the red dot stays centered), and I know this because my buddy has an Aimpoint for his Sig 556. Other than that minor thing it's all good, you won't be sorry. Looks great on my tactical Mini-14 with the ATI stock. My buddy with the Aimpoint just ordered a UTG scope. Good product, just get it!"
5.0 5
"Great Scope for the money. Love the red and green feature. I have it on a Rock River AR-15 and I shoot <.3 inch groupings at 50 yards."
4.0 5
"I found this Red/Green Dot to be simply fantastic! I'm shooting on my AK-47, and grouping 5" at 100 yards! Thank you CTD! I'd buy this again in a heartbeat!"
4.0 5
"First off let me just say it is not 40mm. The box it comes in says 1x30 with a 38mm tube diameter. I know its not a big difference but why even put 40mm if its not. But whatever, I received the sight a day and a half after I ordered it. Gotta love that. Sighted it in yesterday and its pretty awesome. The flip-open lens caps are great. Comes with the battery and a replacement which is awesome. It appeared that the red dot was a bunch of tiny dots but you really only notice it when its on the brightest setting. I installed this sight on my Romanian SAR1 with the side rail mount (AKS-006) and they seem to love each other. So over all I think this sight is the bees knees. I would recommend it."
5.0 5
"Not bad at all. I used this on my Romanian AK-47 and the dot stayed centered after 200rds. I will buy one again for my Stag 8."
4.0 5
"I put this on my Kel-Tec SU 16c, have shot 300 rounds through it and its holding up well. Once the dot flickered after a shot and I thought it was the end of the red dot, but it came back on and i havent had any problems with it since. Good deal for the money"
4.0 5
"I installed this scope on my Kel-Tec Sub-2000. It works great. It zeroed very easily. Some people complain about the dot being a cluster of smaller dots, but it doesn't bother me because I like a very small dot so I use the weakest setting, making the cluster of dots not noticeable. I give it 4 bullets only because I don't like the knob used to turn it on and off or adjust the dot. It clicks every time you turn it making it hard to know when the dot is turned off unless you actually look at it unlike some other scopes I have. Other than that it's a great scope for target shooting and plinking if you don't have the cash to buy a high end red dot."
1.0 5
"I was very disappointed in the quality of this sight. My biggest complaint is the "dot" itself; it isn't a dot at all. The dot is more like a fuzzy short line. I am going to try the TRUGLO for a little more money and hope to get what I pay for."
5.0 5
"I love this Red/Green dot sight. I have it on my Armalite AR15 M4. The settings for brightness are awesome! Good price CTD!"
1.0 5
"Looks good and the 5 diffrent brightness settings are cool, but probably not nessesary. Right out of the box it was vertically accurate but I was unable to dial it in because the scope would not adjust downward, then the dot would simply just not come on in green on the lower settings. Probably a deffective unit right out of the box, but I won't be replacing it with another of the samething."
4.0 5
"Put this on an AK with the AK sidesaddle mount from CTD, nice fit, the dots are easy to see, mine zeroed in with a few clicks and held zero, after around 150 rounds the dot dimmed a bit but then came back bright, maybe the recoil moved the battery? If it holds up this is a great deal!"
5.0 5
"I put this sight on my Marlin 60 and it works great! This is a very inexpensive red dot so don't expect Aimpoint quality, but the sight is still exceptional for the price!"
3.0 5
"Clarity is good, and it holds zero, if you replace the factory nuts. The dot could be clearer, it's not a crisp circle, more like an egg shape with varying brightness, like several dots were overlapping.Factory nuts are too-soft material that strips very! easily. Once I replaced them with nuts from another mount that my local gunsmith had in his junk drawer, it holds zero well."
3.0 5
"Bought one of these a long while back when I used to do Airsoft. Good bang for the buck when you are shooting plastic. Made the transition over to real steel with hard core tactical classes and the red and green dots just werent bright enough for my liking. not to say they wont be for you. i weld all day long at work and even with a mask my eyes get screwed up. For the price, i'd say why not."
4.0 5
"This is a great sight for the money. However it doesn't work at night, the illuminated dot is too bright even on the lowest setting. I would recommend this for anyone who wants a cheap, but good working red dot."
4.0 5
"This is a great sight! I got it for my Olympic Arms M4, it looks great and the dot on the one I got looks perfect. If you have a flat top with the front iron sights still attached you will have to get at least a half inch riser to see over the sights. But if you have a flip up rear sight its great because you can use them right through the scope with dot off. I only gave it four stars because i haven't fired my weapon with the sights yet but it seems very stable and i look forward to using it!"
4.0 5
"Great little sight. The brightness adjustments are nice. Works great in bright and low light situations alike. It's not meant to be used in black out conditions, with a small light this makes a great addition to any tactical weapon. If for nothing else than to make your buddies jealous."
5.0 5
"Much better than expected! Put it on my Saiga AK-74 7.62x39 and it's very accurate. The dot is very good for the price, stays lit and in place."
4.0 5
"So for the price you cant beat it. I mounted it on my Mini 14 and on red set to high power the red dot looked like two little red dots but, I was able to rapidly fire 150 rounds from 75 yards in about a 2-3" grouping. Not a bad red dot for plinking, I would not go into battle with it though..."
5.0 5
"Worked perfect on my GSG 522 SD!"
5.0 5
"Used it on my IO stg-2000c @ 50 yds with 1" groups. @ 100 yds it was 2" groupings. I think thats pretty good for a dot scope. I was really impressed with it and so was a guy at the range. He's like, " wow with a red/green dot scope? ""
3.0 5
"I wasn't impressed w/ this scope at all... I bought it for a tippmann project salvo. The dot isn't at all a dot, more like multiple cluster of dots... but it was very easy to dial in and works fine. If u wanna put this thing on a AR15 buy yourself an Aimpoint."
5.0 5
"This is a great sight for the money , I put it on my M&P 15 and it is awesome. I am very pleased!"
4.0 5
"I installed this sight on my WASR10. Fired about a hundred rounds and it held zero just fine. The dot could be crisper, but it was not objectionable, and it is kind of neat being able to switch red and green. The one thing I don't like is the flip up lense caps, mine are difficult to open and they get in the way of the dot adjustment knob when in the up position. But for the money it is a decent sight and I am very satisfied with the purchase."
5.0 5
"This is the second one I have. I wrote a review in July 2009, it still is on my Beretta storm cx-4 9mm. Never a problem. Holds zero- never had to adjust after first time. Now I put one on my AR15. I am hitting the 10" plate at 200 yards every time. This one also holds zero. This is well worth the $30 spent. There is no reason for a scope."
4.0 5
"It holds zero very well on my Norinco SKS there are no problems with the reticle and it is very accurate. Well worth you money."
5.0 5
"I put this on my WASR 10. It mounted easily, zeroed quickly, and holds a zero well even when rapid firing 7.62x39. I don't have the problem others have mentioned, the dot is sharp and well defined. In this case you don't just get what you paid for, you get a whole lot more. This is a great scope for the price."
5.0 5
"I bought this for my Ruger 10/22 and its worked out great. It fits snug and sits low on the rifle. Im really happy with it, I was looking for a cheap optic to play with on my .22 and this is perfect."
5.0 5
"Great sight. Got this for my WASR 10 Romanian AK47. Took 10 shots to line it up and has held dead center for over 500 rounds. Red dot sight is crisp when out on the field/range and is comparable to a $200 sight my father uses. Great sight overall. Holds a center, can handle recoil without shifting. Battery lasts forever. Shot my first deer at about 150 yards with it, and hit within 3 inches of where I was aiming. Great dinner that night. Well recommended!"
3.0 5
"It's great. The dot is blurry at highest 4 settings both colors, but it works great. Just needs a riser."
5.0 5
"Excellent sight, especially for the money. I bought this for my WASR 10/63. The dot is sharp and easily visible in bright sunlight in both colors and all intensity settings."
4.0 5
"Bought this scope for the Mossberg 715T 22 riffle that I purchased for my Grand daughter. Works great. The little one just places the dot on target and fires away."

"this red dot is a great sight for close quarters combat, I havent had it very long so I can't say how long it will last, but I'll keep using it till it doesn't work any more."

"I bought this for my H&K SR9. Even on that huge .308 rifle, it works great. I'll probably get one for my new AR-15 until I can afford an EOTech for it."
