"Stopped in today 10/14/08 picked one up, store folks were extremely helpful, got home had it on in 10 minutes. This rail is extremely solid. Buddies at work paid a couple hundred for theirs. Well worth the the change paid. Will purchase 1 more for second rifle. Thanks CTD."

"I own a Bushmaster O.R.C. and need a rail to put a bipod and vertical foregrip on. So I ordered this rail system on 10/13 and will update on or about 10/16 when I get it."

"On time, good product, assembled very easy. Would give it 5 bullets if did not need to remove front to add front grip. Other than this little problem this is a winner"

"Sorry for taking so long butI had a minor problem installing the quad rail on my O.R.C. So long story short I had to send my upper back to Bushmaster to have the barrel nut replaced (their fault not mine). I sent it back to Bushmaster along with the quad rail and less than 2 weeks later I got my upper back and they installed the rail. The rail is rock solid, looks good, and my bipod attached in a heartbeat. So far I have taken it to the range 3 times since I got it back from Bushmaster. My dad is blown away by how it looks and the stability it gives to the rifle and the bipod on the front is a bonus for when we went after some groundhogs. I have one more thing to put on the rail for now and it is a vertical fore grip for easier offhand shooting. The looks it got at the range were along the lines of "Damn! Isn't that illegal?!?!?!". I'm going to get another one of these rails when I get my .308 upper reciever for deer season."

"Checked out all of the reviews for the UTG quad-rail products on CTD. I liked this one the best, because it fits on my Carbine, but extends out past the front site, giving me a perfect platform for a bipod. Installed in minutes, solid piece, much more solid than what is out of the box on a Stag 2H upper. Only thing is, I had to remove the side strap loop, which added about two minutes to the whole install. I highly recommend this product, especially if you're thinking about spending twice as much for something similar."

"Rock solid on my Rock River. Haven't had a chance to shoot with it on but I am supemely satisfied with the ease of application and secure fit. Worth every penny. Don't tell UTG that cause they may want to raise the price!"

"Bought this for my Bushmaster A4. Started to purchase the 6 3/4" But for no more of a price difference I chose this one. Perfect fit, easy installation. Made a great platform for my Harris Bipod and fore grip. If you're in the market, buy it. It's a great product."

"Purchased this for my Bushmaster AR-15 16" heavy barrel carbine. Fit, form and function are excellent. It was a little difficult getting the lower section installed, but I did not have a handrail tool, which would make it easier. But regardless, it still only took 5 minutes to install. Love this item and highly recommend it."

"I purchased another brand for my team and after the ease of install and quality...as well as price on my personal AR, I should've went this direction. Who cares if you have to take the side sling mount off. You don't need it anyway."

"Mounts up very easily and looks great. Very durable. Rails work good as well. It does add some weight, so i attached a front grip with flashlight holder. Highly recommended."

"Before I ordered this quad system I read the reviews. Keep in mind I am a very picky person, but for once, I am completely satisfied. It's a miracle! Yes, it is rock solid. I used a small drop of blue thread lock on each screw because I didn't want to strip anything out by overtightening, but wanted it to stay. This rail does add some noticable weight but I'm pretty sure they all do. If you want "lighter", get the one that doesn't go past the front sight base, I'm sure you will be pleased. If you want to add all of your goodies and get that "tacticool" look, this is an awesome value. It also gives the illusion of having a short barreled rifle, looks great, built well, and it was easy to install. I looked around for a while and I am very pleased with my choice. I have more ARs and I will buy more of these UTG rail systems. This is my first CTD experience and I am hooked. Great product, great price, and it got here quick! Thank you Cheaper Than Dirt!BTW buy the thing already and quit wasting your time (like me) looking at those $200 plus ones you really don't want to spring for!!!"

"I was a little skeptical based on the price but, after reading the reviews I decided to go for it. Well, I am pleased to say that I am not disappointed. The pieces went together so well and so fast that my coffee didn't even get cold. Eventually I will replace the gas block/sight assembly and I am wondering if I will have to modify the front end...probably not. Good catch CTD, great product."

"I have owned many quad rails much more expensive than this one. But this UTG rail is rock solid, and can hold its own with the best names out ther. The free floating extension gives a good mounting spot for a bi-pod, and the extension gives a great over all apperance. I gave this rail 5 out of 5 bullets because its the best rail you can buy for the price. I also give cheaper than dirt 5 bullets. When they say 3 to 5 days for shiping, they really mean 2 days. This company has great products for a great price."

"This is a great quad rail for the AR. It mounts easily and is very solid. Looks awesome and adds weight to the weapon, but this is not a problem for a weekend shooter. If you want a quality quad rail at a good price, this is the one to get."

"I am one to stay away from on line purchases how ever when I saw the price I had to do it. I had recently purchased a Troy rail for $200+ and seeing this price I felt taken. I ordered on a Tuesday and the package arrived on Friday I was so excited that I went down to FEDEX to pick it up. The box did not make it out of the parking lot before I had the rail in my hand. I was very pleased with the quality and the stability of the rail. I would recommend this product wholeheartedly. I enjoy tinkering with my AR's and the only complaint I have is that it only took 5 min to install the rail. If you are looking for a quality rail at a low price you can not go wrong with this product."

"Bought the short rail first for my Bushmaster M-4, liked it so well, but wanted a different look for my Colt M-4, i bought this long rail system. Both work great, laser stays right on target. Being able to swap accessories from weapon to weapon is a definite plus. The comfort grips, included, come in handy for your fingers and rail protection. The lower front rail does have to be removed, on the longer rail system, to install a vertical grip. But its a small inconvience compared to the rails other good qualities. I would buy another one, i think thats "five" bullets.."

"Ordered the UTG carbine unit for my O.R.C. Bushy. Got it 2 days early. Will be adding an upright handle for more comfort.Looked to add a laydown sight setup and found that the top rails were not aligned.(laid a straight edge on the top rail) Guess I'll stick with my red dot without back-up sights. It still makes the gun very tactical looking."

"This is a great addition for the short barrel AR-15, it mounts solid and looks great. I suggest a fake silencer to go on it. With that addition it would bring the rating up to an easy 10. This is worth every penny, you DO NOT need super expensive name-brand quad rails, this is all you need."
– jerry west

"I gave this a 4/5 simply because I have not bought 200-300 dollar handguards to compare it to. The look is tacticool to say the least, and you can add as many components as your arms can lift with the amount of rail space you gain. Installation took all of ten minutes. One tip, if you are going to install a verticle forward grip you have to install it prior to assembling the last piece of the rail if you have a hanging sling mount on your front sight. The design makes it impossible to slide(most)components on the rail as the sling loop blocks them."
– Mazilla

"This is an excellent product - at a fantastic price. Easy to install, very secure and solid on the weapon. More than enough space for anyone to add features. It does add some weight, but all in the front, which will help with recoil and accuracy. Excellent value."

"I read the reviews from other customers and what they said was true. These rails were very easy to install and they look great. I put these on my ar and combined them with a fake silencer that I ordered from spikestactical to make a very mean looking gun. Thanks for such a great product and fast shipping."

"Great rail system. Allows you to add whatever you want to your gun. It fit perfectly on my DPMS AP4 and installed in minutes. The only reason I gave it four stars was because I bought a front vertical grip and had to remove the bottom half to slide it on because of the little space allowance for the sling swivel. Other than that I think it looks cooler and works just as well as a $300 model."
– Marve

"Installed on Bush 16" Carbine. Feels great, fits very solid, looks awesome, really easy to install. It is in 3 pieces: one piece upper, and lower consists of two parts separated at the sling loop which is nice because you only have to remove the small front bottom piece to get accessories onto the lower rail past the sling loop. Comes with rubber slide on covers for all rails as well. Does add a weight but doesn't feel front end heavy or anything, just makes the gun feel more solid in my opinion. Great price, great product, you won't be dissappointed."

"I thought it was going to be a less than perfect fit one that i was going to have to machine into perfection. But out of the box it went to my dpms 16" like butter and is rock solid. If you are speculating the quality dont. The 18 rubber rail guard are awsome and included. Would recomend to all. I will be putting one on my other 3 ar's. Cheers : )"

"I bought this thing based on looks, price, and reviews. I got it today, and it looks friggin sweet, and felt very solid. Well it did not go on in 5 minutes, 10 minutes, or after having to go to the gun store to see why. The metal ring right behind the sling swivel needed to be cut in order for it to fit. I DO NOT feel comfortable to cut anything that is made to be on a rifle. Just make sure its the right one before you buy it. I have a Bushmaster ar-15."

"I just replaced a $180 Surefire rail with this, and I could not be more pleased. I wanted this rail for the extension past my front sight post and it delivered. The rail went onto my patrol rifle and it sees a lot of use, I am not worried about it at all. The rail went on well and is far more secure then I thought it would be, I trusted the other positive reviews and I was not misled. People bad mouth UTG, and I have never purchased any of their products before, but I cannot stress enough how great this rail is. One of the other reviews said buy it instead of the $200 or $300 competition, I agree. I tossed the rubber covers, just didnt like the look, but dont buy this if its just because of the 18 included rail covers, buy it because it IS a well made product, and will do its job."

"I too relied on other reviewers and the fact that CTD will accept returns if I wasn't satisfied. I was looking for an extended rail for my M4 buildup (California legal) to mount a Harris bipod and vertical grip. Well, there's not a skosh of cheap about this rail as I'm 100% satisfied with this UTG product. Installed quickly on my Bushmaster M4; very-very solid. I am somewhat leery to leave such a positive review as it's just a matter of time before the bean counters jack the price up but I wanted to offer my compliments to UTG and CTD. I'll likely get two more as I build up two more California legal M4's for my kids. Also, I found the rubber rail guards to be of quality, comfortable and...looking good on my rifle! Lastly, even the rails packaging imparts a company having lots of pride...and all of this for $69."

"Went on in a snap on my Bushmaster. This beast is built solid as rock and mounts the same. I would be concerned with the screws loosening, but only if I had a full auto rifle and fired it all day without stopping to check my rifle.Four bullets because of the weight. Although it's hard to have such a tough piece and not sacrifice some weight for it."

"I must say that I looked at other rails at costs in the $250.00-$400.00 range. I took a chance with this brand/product that was just a fraction of the costs of the other brands/products. I believed that I would get what I paid for at such a cheap costs. In summary, I have been pleasantly surprised as I believe that I actually got more than I paid for. This was a quick and easy install on my Smith/Wesson M&P AR-15. It fits well, and continues to do so after several hundred rounds fired. I cannot see anyone paying more for a brand name rail when this one performs probably just as well."

"This did not fit my Stag Arns model 2L - my fault. However, I was STUNNED by the quality of this very inexpensive rail kit. So much so that I am getting the proper rail kit for my Carbine in an exchange. CTD customer service was top notch. Highly reccomend all Leapers UTG rail kits if they are made as well as this one!"

"I bought this on the other reviews and was hoping they were not written by the CTD guys. I got it and it went on in about 5 minutes tops. It went on my rock river fast and tight. I am very very pleased. It is a little weighty but hey I can live with it. I am not humping this thing all over the sands of Iraq. If you are looking to get one do it now before they raise the prices. Very good buy"

"I bought this instead of the Daniel Defense OMEGA 12.0 FSP rail, which is 2x the cost. I am highly impressed! It mounts up rock solid with NO play whatsoever, which worried me since my MOE handguard had more play than a french hooker. On my RRA LAR15 it is the best item i have bought yet."

"I purchased this quadrail to go on my DPMS AR-15. I was not sure if it would work with the bull barrel or not, but it installed flawlessly within 10 minutes. It took longer to get the plastic one off than the quadrail on. I have a .920 barrel and a single rail gas block and the quad rail still fit perfectly. I also did not have the issue with the vertical grip, but I don't have a sling mount hanging down either."

"There's a small misalignment with the extension section's lower half against my gas block, but that's because I have the S&W M&P-15 ORC and the gas block is non standard. The misalignment is quite minor though, and completely does not negatively impact stability of the install. I'm very happy with this item."

"I put this quad on my DPMS 6.8 SPC, and it went on in less than 5 minutes. Fit great, doesn't move at all even with a fore grip. If you have an M4 or any carbine this is a must have unless your going for a super light setup. AA++."

"I thought this would be a good replacement for standard handguard on my Bushmaster 16" so I could mount a bipod (BIPOD-102). It is a well made accessory and easy to mount (suggest you get ARR-144 to make handguard removal easier), but the extra length is not necessary and the extra weight really shifts the center of gravity to the front of the rifle. If I wanted to add extra accessories, now the weight is way too much. In order to do "ready up" drills, I want to keep front weight down and only mount accessories that are really necessary, not just put a bunch of junk on the rifle because it "looks cool". I ended up going with ARR-184, a lightweight, plastic, shorter handguard. Time will tell if the plastic one will last."

"Been using this on my AR for almost a year. It fits solid enough that I mounted my optics to it and haven't lost zero.It looks great, adds real estate to your furniture for mounting optics, tac lights, etc. and doesn't cost an arm and a leg to upgrade your rifle. The large cutouts have also helped to keep the heat down during rapid fire.If I had two rifles, they'd both have these rails mounted on them."

"I first bought a standard aluminum Carbine Quad Rail for my Bushmaster Carbon 15, mounted a Nikon Pro-staff 3-9x50 BDC, then mounted a Harris S bipod and a new Podlock lever and found I had no room for my hand to hold the rail. With this longer rail I can mount the bipod set up and still have lots of room for my hand. Yes it's a little bit heavier (few onces) but being able to shoot with comfort and get better bullet placement is an easy choice, what do you want to give up, weight or missed opportunities?"

"I ordered this for my Spike's Tac M-4. Fit like a glove, absolutly no problems, and it's solid. I had it on for my 2010 NRA Tactical Police Comp, had a few guys looking and asking where I got it from. Provides plenty of room for my bipod and foregrip. Lots of space to put stuff, very impressed. I wish I had another rifle, so I can get another one of these :) Ooohhhh, lucky me, I'm on CTD, lets see what they got!!!"

"I decided to put this on my M4 carbine in Iraq. Very sturdy platform. Allowed me to put my bipod legs towards the muzzle and keep a target in sight while having my pistol grip positioned exactly where I wanted it. The only downfall was field stripping to clean my weapon. If you lose the supplied hex wrench, there is no way of getting the rail system off unless you talk to your armorer. On that note, the rail system still allows the rifle to be stored in gun racks."

This was my first transaction with cheaper than dirt and you automatically get 5 stars right off the back! 5 stars for durability. 4 stars for easy installation (so many screws). 3 stars for weight (it makes my rifle very front heavy). 5 for the price and the amount of real estate you get. Over all 4.4 starsI challenge you to find a better deal than this."

"This is quite possibly the best upgrade I've done for my AR and the best value. Precise fit, anodized finish was top-notch, great tool package with spares, rock solid lock in replacement fore stock. I'm in the manufacturing business, we can't make this unit forthe money plus the rubber pads that clip on for a great feel overall. UTG is bad @$$ !"

"Well built for the price and more solid then the original forearm on my cmmg only reason why the 4 stars is weight and that's not even that bad all around awesome upgrade and solid I would recommend it to anyone."

"I have used lots of rails, Midwest, Troy, Sampson, etc. This is a great non-free floating rail for your standard carbine handguard replacement. The fit and finish rival the well known brands and the rails are cut precisely and uniform which fit my Troy rail covers nice and tight, but not too tight to position them in place. The allen head screws and bosses are an exact fit and don't stick out. It installs easily and fits snug in the delta ring. It has absolutely no movement once installed. When viewed looking down the top of the rails it aligns perfectly with the upper receiver in the vertical, horizontal, and rotation angle. You can use an EoTech or other red dot and cover the gap over the delta ring. Wow, its nearly as good as a true free float rail. I'll definitely recommend this to anyone. Buy it and you'll be happy. I'm getting another!"

"Let me start by saying that through I've used AR-15 family weapons extensively in my naval career, we always had armorers to handle the more in-depth work. So, while I have a strong familiarity with the weapons, I am by no means an expert; likewise, I don't have an extensive gunsmithing toolkit or bench setup at my disposal. So I've been diving into modifying my DPMS Panther Oracle, one step at a time. I've been working on configuring it as a CQB carbine/patrol carbine/ranch gun/all-around carry rifle. That having been said, I wanted a longer quad-railed handguard than the plastic carbine-length glacier grips the Oracle came with. I first had a Milwaukee Industries handguard on it (also carbine length), but as I have a flattop receiver and gas block, and I'm now using an EO-Tech 512, I wanted to mount a BUIS, and I wanted one same-plane, as I don't like the idea of trying to yank or push a button just above my hot gas block to deploy the front sight. I couldn't mount it on the MI handguard, because that mounted in the standard fashion, with the collar in front, and delta ring in back; it had A LOT of wiggle. I read the other reviews, and in the end, purchased this unit for my rifle- totally worth it!The fit and finish on this handguard is top notch, and I have a nasty habit of beating the s--- out of my weapons. This IS NOT a free-float handguard, so don't expect some massive accuracy increase mounting this handguard. It's also steel (I believe), so it's a bit on the heavy side; I'm using a Magpul angled foregrip mounted all the way foreward, with a high thumb-wrap weak hand grip, so in ready-up drills, I don't immediately notice the extra weight, though it fatigues a bit faster if drilling all day. The guard is actually three pieces; a full-length upper, and two lower sections, one for in front of the gas block/sling swivel area, and a longer one for behind it. Each one is attached to the upper via hex head screws (four each), with spares and the wren...."

"This is a great sturdy piece. Easy install after I was finally able to get stock plastic forearm off of my DPMS. Plenty of room for anything I could possibly want to put on."

"This thing does add some weight, but will last a lifetime. Solid as a rock. Install was easy and it comes with UTG black rubber rail guards for every inch of unused space that you want to cover. Great value. I am very happy."

"This forearm completed my SBR build. I used a Noveske Pig on a 10.5" barrel and only half the Pig extends past the end of forearm. The result is fantastic. Made in America quality and a fraction of anything else. Everything I get from UTG is the highest quality."

"I have had the regular 7" carbine UTG quadrail for a long time on my DPMS A-15. I recently looked at a Rock River carbine with free float mid length quadrail setup. I really liked the feel of it, being longer out the front than the carbine 7" rail. So I looked into this to replace the existing rails on mine. Very pleased, UTG is so underestimated, these guys at UTG have some of the best VALUE products out there. Sure their are better setups, but not in this price point. This thing is solid as a rock, looks awesome, and adds about 3" out in front of the gas block. I am very happy with this rail. CTD, you never cease to amaze bought this late on the 23rd, it was at my door at noon on the 26th!"

"Just got it in the other day and I love it! Looks cool feels sturdy and took 10 minutes to set up. It has some weight to it with all the rubber hand guards on it, but that's not a big deal to me. Would recommend."

"I was very disappointed with this rail. The picture is deceiving, as the bottom rail is not one piece, nor are the two pieces on the same level plane. I tried to put a Magpul AFG on the bottom, but it wouldn't fit because the "extension" part of the bottom rail was just a hair lower than the back portion of the bottom. To confirm that it was indeed the rail that was messed up and not my AFG, I tried to slide my 37mm Havoc on as well, and it didn't fit either. You get the quality that you pay for. Stay away from UTG!!!!!"

"This works and looks great on my .22LR conversion kit. its cheap but well worth the money and gives you plenty of room to add on lights, lasers, handguards, or whatever you may like and allows the use of the fixed front sights."

"I stopped telling people what to do when I retired from the military at the ripe old age of 39, but, always a but...you would be throwing your money away on some other quad rail if you did not give UTG a shot on their extended M4 carbine quad rail. My .223 upper went from ho-hum to outstanding. I wanted utility and didn't care for looks or labels, and this item exceeded my expectations for use. Good looks were an added bonus. From unboxing to fully attached, it took 10, maybe 15 minutes. I lost 5 minutes admiring the quality. A little Loc-Tite on the screws for peace of mind and you are good to go. CTD and UTG make a great team."

"I just got this rail put on and it looks awesome! Easy to install and has plenty of room for all the goodies. The bottom rail is on a level plane. When you take it out of the box, it is not, but once it is installed it is level and even. It adds a little bit of weight, but I like the heft it gives the rifle. Very well made and it looks outstanding."

"I have a Windham Weaponry (previously Bushmaster) AR-15. Top went on fine, the bottom however didn't. The front part of the bottom worked but the back has a snowball's chance in Hell of going on. Even when I did get it to seat, the delta ring was still smashed backwards and was too large to seat. NEVER getting a UTG quad rail again. I contacted customer service for refund. The first 20 times I tried to get it on, I marred the finish beyond resale, so to make sure I was right I used a file to make the grooves smaller. Still didn't fit and no seating again."

"This is the first time I bought from CTD. Good service, product description is on the money. The rail itself is great. It fit well with no movement or wiggle. One tip when installing: if have a Magpul AFG, put it on the bottom rail before installing the rails. Unless you pull apart the AFG, it won't slide on either end of the rail. The delta ring will hang it up."

"This rail is better than advertised. It goes on with just a simple use of an Allen wrench. Mine fit perfectly. There were no issues with fit or finish. Very good quality for the price, as are all the UTG products I've purchased have been. Great product and CTD is a great retailer to deal with."

"Awesome quadrail for the cost. IMO, this is the best alternative to FF handguards, which are often cost prohibitive and most longer ones don't allow the use of a FSB. I actually use a railed gas block and Picatinny backup front sight, so the hole for the FSB did require very slight filing to allow that to mount OK, but now it's good to go. If the hole were 1-2mm wider on either side, that would have been unnecessary, which is why I knocked one bullet off the rating. I think that it could have done without the gap in the bottom rails for the sling loop (I find sling loops much more comfortable and useful mounted on the side rail), but it's a good compromise, since some people do use that loop. It goes on very easily and securely, and allows a flashlight and bipod to be mounted in a much more useful location than conventional quad rails. Also offers more protection from a hot barrel, which I have burned myself on before.CTD's service was fantastic. Using the second cheapest shipping, I ordered it late at night the day before last and it arrived this morning! Thanks CTD!"

"Im really happy with this product. It went on fine. It did add a little weight, but thats good, because Im using my DPMS flat top as a DMR (designated marksman rifle) with bipod and tactical scope. So the weight will help eat up any recoil for a better shot. I did not have any problem with product like I have read of some others. All and all, its a good, made in the USA product at a really good price."

"I just could not wait to get and try it out. Boy, it sure wasworth the wait. It took 5 days. I opened the box and was very happy. Just picking it up, I knew that it was quality work. I had it on my AR-15 within 5 min. There was no movement at all. It is rock solid and worth every cent. If you're holding out, don't even give it a thought. You will have no regrets! I will be getting another. It`s made it the U.S.A, so ROCK ON!"

"Bought this for my MP 15. Fits like a glove! Had it on in about 10 min. Its ROCK solid and adds plenty of rails for whatever you want! This is the best thing short of a free float system! If you are having second thoughts...do yourself a favor and BUY IT! You wont be sorry!"

"I ordered this for my 46th birthday, and let me tell you, I have nothing but praise for this piece of equipment. Installed extremely easy on my DPMS AR-15 Lite flat top model. Replaced my Magpul MOE carbine length hand guard. This extended quad rail is rock solid (and I mean no movement at all) compared to the MOE and gives you allot of realestate to mount your accessories. It allowed me to install a tactical bipod in front of the sling swivel and still have room for a T handle and a sling mount with plenty of room in between. The rubber rail covers that come with it fit nice and tight. This system does add weight, but the firearm is well balanced and the extra weight has reduced muzzle jump to almost nil. The extra weight is not so much that you would be tired after doing tactical drills and makes for a rock solid feel when transitioning between targets, and allows for quicker follow-up shots. I would recommend this to anyone with a carbine length AR."

"Easy to install. Adds a little more weight than I thought it would. had to remove the side sling hinge on my stag-15 model 1 to make it fit but thats not a big deal to me because i got to keep the one under the barrel. overall i'm impressed with it. like i said, installation was a breeze. i would recommend this quad rail."

"Perfect. No problems with installation or the addition of add on items. The extra length allowed me to add an ergonomic grip all the way forward on the bottom rail. (I removed the sling swivel and the grip bridged the gap.) The rail is beefy so I only used as many rubber guards as I needed. Very solid and a better option for attaching a sling attachment than the factory sling swivel."

"Fits solid on my rifle. I've had it now for about four months and I love it. Easy install, doesn't rattle or shift. I've had to take the bottom front portion off to attach a grip but no biggie. My wife did say it's a bit big with the rail covers that come with it so I put low profile covers on hers. I'm buying another one so I figured I'd submit my review. Awesome quality!"
