"I ordered this rail system for my Bulgarian AK74 after looking at a lot of systems. A reasonable price. This is a well made design and is a SNAP to install AFTER you get the rear sight out. I recommend getting the Campy rear sight removal tool or you may have more trouble than you think installing this system. I like the quick open and close rail with the latch in the back. It is real tight once you adjust the latch. I would recommend this to a friend."

"My AK was built by my son a US Army gun smith. The mount was a bit hard to get onto the sight base but I managed. I have to wait to try it out because my scope ring mounts were too low, new ones on the way."

"I bought this for my sporter 39 ak-47 son I could mount my Burris scope closer to the buttstock for lesser eye strain. Installation was a piece of cake and the only tool I needed was a flathead screwdriver. However, once it was on the screws for the adjustment piece on the back immediately stripped from the lightest torque of the hex wrench. Ill need to go to store and see if I can find some higher quality screws but considering this whole thing is made from the same aluminum I don't have high hopes for its longevity. FYI, although the scope did mount, its still too high so you will need to get a cheek riser in order to use it."
