"Purchased the 200 Lumens Tac Light....outstanding design and highquality material; lumination is superb for distance visibility, highly recommended for larger area usage."
4.0 5
"This is a great product especially when considering the versatility and flexablity. Great price too. I have several of the more expensive SureFire lights but this Leapers light performs at the SurFire level and with a cheaper cost. Great performance for the bucks! I will buy more."
5.0 5
"I bought this light to test it on a duty shotgun and a Colt SBR. This is one of the most powerful lights I have come accross. I have used countless lights from surefire to streamlight. By far the multiple applications for this light is endless and the high output of light is overwhelming. The price cant be beat. I own two about to purchase a third. Thanks CTD"

"Put this light on my AK and it is awesome. Powerful light, rock solid, looks great, and would highly recommend it to anyone."
4.0 5
"The one thing I didn't like about the light is that you have to take it apart to mount it on a weapon. The mount is the center part of the flashlight. I'd rather be able to go from weapon to hand without having to take the light apart and screw it back together in three pieces ---and batteries. That does, however, make the light far less prone to being knocked off the weapon and makes for a sturdier mount. So...pros and cons..."

"Don't even waste your time thinking about it, this is the light you want! I was skeptical at first, but after reading the reviews I thought I would try it. Glad I did I'm extremely happy with this light and have recommended it to several of friends and they too are as satisfied with it as I am. I have fired about 200 rounds with it mounted on my AR and it holds up to the shock."

"This is the best weapon mounted light I have found to date. EXTREMELY BRIGHT. Good for indoor use, GREAT for outdoor use. I live in a rural area on acreage, with this light I can see past my property lines to my neighboors homes (very handy when they are on vacation). I am buying 2 more, one for my other shotgun and one to carry while traveling.PS I used the UTG shotgun barrel mount tri-rail adapter to mount, works great!"

"This is the first and only weapon light that I have bought, and I think I made a good decision. It is big and kinda heavy, but seems very durable. This light is one of the brightest flashlights of any kind that I have ever used. I have it mounted on my AR and I think that I could see well enough to hit something at least 75 yards away! I like the versatility of having it handheld or mounted, but it is difficult to have it both ways. It takes a minute to disassemble, change parts and reassemble. What would be nice is if they gave you two endcaps, then you could leave the tube and cord mounted to your gun and have the second endcap on the handheld tube with the on off button installed. Then you could just spin off the front of the light and switch them quickly. Anyway, this is a really great light and I would recommend it to anyone unless they are in need of a really compact light."

"I've been trying to convince myself to buy the Surefire G2 LED with the pressure switch adapter and the flashlight mount for my AR.I'm so glad I put it off, because I LOVE this light. It's so bright! and not only is it a deal, but it comes with the pressure switch AND the rail mount. No instructions, but it's almost common sense when putting it together. Comes with 3 batteries."

"Worth at least 4 or 5 times as much in Surefire dollars! Excellent machine work, 5 gaskets & quality pressure switch. Every friend I showed it to wanted one even before I told them how much it cost. The large outer light ring will light up a room, the small inner ring will fry eggs!"

"I received my light with in four days and it is the best light I have used yet. I have it mounted on my AR and it works great. I also bought the vertical grip leapers makes with the pressure pad slots made in it.(It works great to.) I have used a surefire with the pressure pads made into the forearm and it is heavy and not as bright as this light. I do wish it was easier to make it a hand held light but other than that is great. I live out in the country and at night I bet I can see a good 75 to 100 yards with this light. For the price it would be a great light to have in the truck or just in the house to use anytime. If you are thinking about it buy it you will be happy."
5.0 5
"This light is brighter than hades, well constructed, and well worth the money. I've purchased several items made by UTG and they all function perfectly. I bought one for my AR15 and am about to buy another one for my AK47 next payday."
5.0 5
"I wouldn't change anything about the performance of this light. I would add a strobe function for making room searches safer. The 200 lumens doesn't seem that much brighter than my TLR-1, but I couldn't imagine having a brighter beam. It is definately what I expected."
5.0 5
"after having this light for 2 weeks now all i can say is WOW this thing puts my friends surefire to shame with ease.i can see 100-150 yards just fine.it is made very well im not saying you should try this but i had mine under running water for 30 mins and it still functioned great.needless to say i just got another 1 :D"
5.0 5
"Very wide bright outer light band, incredibly intense center area. Bonus, on my 870 the center area nearly perfectly matches the spread pattern of my 870 with 20\" slug barrel out to 20 yrds. Very beefy construction as well."
5.0 5
"Extremely bright light! Large outer ring for peripheral lighting and concentrated center beam for focusing attnetion and identifying objects/targets. Used this on myself in a daylit room...bad idea. Will definitely blind a goblin and destroy his night vision if you shine it in his eyes. Solid construction, bright light, good switches...what's not to like?"
5.0 5
"I was honestly expecting a... Fairly cheap light for this price. I mean quality wise I really wasn't expecting too much. But HOLY FREAKING MOLY!!! This light is EXTREMELY high quality for the price, and I would even say rivals Surefire. This is nothing short of impressive. And to top it off, I work security, so not only can I use this as a weapon mounted light, but I can also use it as a personal light when I don't want it on my firearm. It is BLINDING bright. I WILL be recommending this to quite a few of my colleagues."
5.0 5
"I searched the web, CTD had the best price, 20 bucks cheaper. This light got top ratings and deserves them. Bright as hell, built like a tank, and even comes with a extra body to mount on your gun. My buddy ordered a Surefire, I bet he cancels that order for this light. For the price, it can't be beat."
5.0 5
"I still can't get over the quality of these lights for the price. These are easily the equal of $300 Streamlights I've handled in the past. I have them mounted on my AR and AK, and just ordered 2 more for my shotguns."
5.0 5
"I wasn't expecting a lot out of this light and had intended it to be a backup or \"where needed\" ... it's now mounted on my AR and I'll be ordering another for my PS90. _Blindingly_ bright focused beam and comes with everything -- even down to a small piece of velcro for mounting the pressure pad. Oh and speaking of, the pressure pad makes no noise at all when pushed making this, in my mind, an all around quality product."
5.0 5
"This tactical light is surprisingly superior in quality, craftsmanship, and reliability. It is comparable to other high-end brands, but at a fraction of the price. It came with everything I needed to quickly and securely mount it to my Mossberg 500A. The light is blindingly bright yet does not heat up like incandescent or xenon bulbs. As always, CTD shipped it to me lightning fast. I'm so satisfied that I plan to buy a few more for my other guns."
4.0 5
"This is the fourth UTG product I've bought, and I'm a believer. This light is solidly made, amazingly bright, works exactly as I was hoping. Mounted solidly to my UTG quad rail. Excellent product. I'd rate it 5 bullets, but I don't know if the battery life estimate is accurate yet. Once again - CTD shipped this lightning fast."
5.0 5
"Bought this light for my M4 Patrol Rifle. This light is solid and bright. After a trip to the range and some night training, this light has held up. This is the light you want for work and play. Will buy again and recomend to all."
5.0 5
"This light is the best I've ever seen. More powerful than my LED mag light. A battery hog but not bad considering that it's the brightest light I've ever seen. Buying more right after this review!"
5.0 5
"You just cannot beat the quality offered for the price. I have been blinding people with it for a few weeks now and the batteries are fine so far. I like the field of light, very tight bright center with a dimmer halo surrounding it, very sharp. This thing is a bit bigger than I had thought though. Thanks again CTD!"
4.0 5
"THIS LIGHT IS FREAKIN AWESOME!!! I can't believe the quality of this light for the price. The brightness of this light is amazing, I shined it out my back door at night and could see my target out back of my house which is over 100 meters! The light is a bit bigger than I expected but I'm glad cause it looks awesome mounted on my M&P15. I am very impressed with this light. The only reason I didn't give it five bullets is because I've only owned it a couple weeks so I don't know how long it will hold up but it feels like it will last for a long time. I would recommend this light to anyone."
2.0 5
"This seems like it is a solid light but when I mounted it on my M16 commando the light has a tendency not to work when I press on the presure switch. I have a coworker that has one and he experienced the same problem. When it works it is the brightest thing I have seen. I never tried it with the thumb switch because I bought it for the rifle."
5.0 5
"Liked this light so much I ordered another to mount on my AR and kept the first for a duty light. Super bright and had no problem with the tail cap button. The button is completely adjustable for sensitivity by just tightening or loosening. Mounted perfectly on my Bushmaster using the leapers tri-rail barrel mount."
4.0 5
"Everything people say about this light is true! It's bigger than you think it will be (it's not one of those thumb-diameter little lights; more like the size of a C cell flashlight). It's friggin' solidly built. It has very nice fit and finish, a quality feel... and, with 3 batteries included, the price is just KILLER.BUT... BUT.... in handheld mode, the thumb button on the tailcap is intermittent ONLY. There is no way to turn this thing on and keep it on. You'd think a body-mounted switch would allow you to do that, with the tail-mounted PB as your \"blink-it\" option. The instructions make reference to twisting the tailcap in or out to \"adjust\" the way the on-off works, but I really, really don't like that solution (and it doesn't seem to make a difference on my light anyway). I've had flashlights which use this cheeseball method of turning on and off, and they've always sucked in the end. Usually the light comes apart after jostling around in a bag or during use, or it turns on unknowingly and runs out the juice supply much to your chagrin, later, when you were counting on it. I believe the instructions were referring to one of the other several models covered by the same instruction booklet, but I'm just not sure. No loosening an end cap or front bezel to turn things on and off as far as I'm concerned!Having said that, if you are happy with holding your thumb on the switch the whole time you're needin' light, then there is no issue; this unit is really nice at the price, and brighter than all getout. I intend to mount mine on my Benelli M4 as soon as I get a proper Picatinny front rail accessory mount for it."
5.0 5
"I'm very pleased with my light. Fit & finish get an A+, and it's as solid as a rock. Over a 1000 rounds through my AR with light mounted...not a glitch yet. I'm buying two more. One for my other AR, and the other for the car."
4.0 5
"It is a little bigger than what i thought it would be 7 1/4 inches long. But it is very bright and sharp beam."
5.0 5
"This light is amazingly bright, it blinds from 15ft away in the dark. It is a little on the large side for a weapon mounted light but it is well worth the money. Have not tested the batteries to the full 2 hr rating but they are holding up good with 30 minutes of use. Pressure pad works great but the other screw on on/of switch is a little clumsy. The Rock solid weapon mount is actually part of the body. I will be buying more. Great light, if your thinking about it.... GET IT."
5.0 5
"I saw this light at a gun show and didn't jump on the deal, and that's the only disappointment that I have with this product. I put it up against a light of equal size and power usage and this light not only out-shone it, but I couldn't see the light from my other light anywhere around this one's focused beam on the wall at 12 ft. The integrated weapon mount is sturdy and holds the light well by just finger-tightening the screws. I got to playing with it last night and lit up the side of my neighbors house which is over 200 yards away! I've never seen an L.E.D. do that for this price. If you are putting this light on a rifle or shotgun it is definitely the one you need."

"I ordered on Tuesday and got my order Friday. CTD is the best company online as far as shipping for sure. Super FAST!Anyway the light is super tough and SUPER bright. I have the Insight Procyon XTI tac light and thought it was the brightest ever, this is the same or brighter for half the $. Although its a lot bigger its still worth the money for sure.I had issues with it out of the box, but it turned out to be packing grease from Mfg on the connections. So after I cleaned it up it works awesome."
5.0 5
"Mounted this light under my 10/22 with the Tapco stock. Excellent light for varmint hunting. Makes night use of red dot scope easy. Solid aluminum body. Outshone my friends much more expensive Surefire. May buy another to keep as a handheld."
5.0 5
"I am very impressed with the service from Cheaper than dirt....It only took a couple of days from the moment I ordered this light to the time I had it mounted on my shotgun....I am a police officer and I have a streamlight (300 dls.) mounted on my department issued shotgun...I bought this light for my personal shotgun...this light is brighter than the streamlight and 5 times cheaper....the light is also very solid......I will buy another....thank you!!!"
5.0 5
"I have purchased several UTG products and they are worth they are a good value. I bought this light and even though it is a little larger than my surefire it is worth it. This lights brightness is great, I could not believe how good it was for the price. I mounted it on a UTG tri-rail(SHT-070)mount. It has a solid mount and desent hardware to keep it where you want it."
4.0 5
"Really great light for the price. Brighter than $200+ flashlights or weapon lights and has a great center beam. It is a little long so don't expect to put it on the same rail with anything else and it is a little heavier than most lights but nothing to complain about. Well worth the money."
5.0 5
"Mounted this torch on my Mossberg 500. Brighter than my TLR-1 light. I only buy high quality (like TLR-1 and 2) so when the going gets tough I can depend on my equipment. Great shock-proof light. It's bigger and heavier than I expected, but well worth the price. I'll be buying another one with my next paycheck."
5.0 5
"I also bought one for my Mossberg 500. It looks and feels extremely durable. The interchangeable body and coiled pressure pad is just perfect for tactical mounting. In Conclusion: I'll probably buy another one to keep in my car just in-case. Very Bright! Very Strong! Very Good Deal!"
5.0 5
"Excellent quality, very bright and a great price. This light is too large for a pistol, but works great on a rifle. I attached it to my Winchester 1300 shotgun and it worked wonderfully. I highly recommend it."
4.0 5
"Just as good/bright as a surefire or streamlight. very sturdy possibly dependable. pressure switch is garbage though."
4.0 5
"This light exceeded my expectations. Positives: Quality construction / Bright 200 Lumens focused beam / Included everything needed for hand held or weapon mounted use including the batteries. Cons: It is a larger light so it does add noticable weight when mounted to a weapon. But you can not bet the value. It truely is the most \"Bang for your buck.\""
5.0 5
"Great light for the price! Lights up what you need to see!!!! Went to a gun show found one at 175 lums at a higher price. Glad I waited to order this one cheaper. I will buy two more for my sons for Xmas so they wont take mine."
5.0 5
"Bought 3 of these lights in Oct. 1 for 870, 1 for AR, and 1 for handheld use. These bad boys are awesome. They work so well, you can indentify liberals from 100 ft. away."
4.0 5
"I got this light for my rock river ar15. Its is VERY bright, was spotlighting stuff out at 100 yrds. but its kinda big and pretty heavy too. I will probably end up swaping it out for a lighter weaight one. But I will for sure keep it handy"
5.0 5
"I would argue this flashlight itself is worth the price, without the gun mount. Seriously, a flashlight this bright and solid cost at least as much as this at local stores, and with this one you get a mount and pressure switch. This is the best deal I have got from CTD."
4.0 5
"I initially bought this for my Mossberg 590A1, but realized after it was delivered (and not reading the specs) that it was a bit large and heavy to hang off the end of my shotgun. Plan B was to replace the smaller light mounted on my AR15, which worked out real good. The light mounted along the left side of the AR with the pressure switch on the backside of the verticle grip."
5.0 5
"It is very bright, a little heavy but heavy is reliable. Mounted on my winchester 1300 looks real mean now! I am happy with my purchase."
4.0 5
"Bought it 6 months ago and have fired at least 1000 rounds through my Bushmaster and I have 0 complaints."
5.0 5
"When this light first arrived at my home, I noted the good quality of the packaging... I tried not to get ahead of myself (you know... don't judge a book) so I mounted this bad boy to my ArmaLite...This is just as bright as the light my brother-in-law gave me, which was issued to him by the Army... Durable... Bright... GREAT QUALITY!! I 100% recommend this product!"
5.0 5
"Very bright, very well made. I bought this for my Remington 870 after the 90 lumen light I had originally had an electrical problem. This is perfect for home defense. It is bigger than the last one, but not much heavier. The quality on this one is miles ahead of the other light I had. Did I mention how bright it is? Incidentally, it can be used as a hand-held tactical light as well. I wish I had bought this one the first time."
4.0 5
"The flashlight just arrived via FedEx. I opened the box, and took out the flashlight, which was packaged very nicely. The light takes 3 CR123A batteries which are included (Thanks Leapers!) and goes together very quickly. It is sturdy and looks super cool.I have a Streamlight Strion C4 LED which boasts 160 lumens. After testing the UTG 200 lumen light with my Strion C4 (keep in mind there should be a 40 lumen difference) I feel that the Strion C4 LED at 160 lumens is substantially brighter.I will keep this UTG light as a backup, but it doesn't seem to be nearly as bright as everybody says. Maybe the batteries are half dead??? Otherwise, this seems to be a really great light. It is a very bright white light, just not as bright as my 160 lumen $100 Streamlight.Enjoy!"
4.0 5
"I accidentally ordered two of these, guess I clicked something and didn't catch it when reviewing my order. However, no problem since this is a very nice light. First went on my AR-15, the other is in reserve until I need it. Bright light, solid mount, well-machined product; too early to know about battery life; pressure switch is nice plus, which leads me to the only negative...this light is not equipped with a push-button momentary switch (it should be) which means that if you're using it for a handheld, the twist on/off is your only option. Not good for a tactical light, and somewhat surprising given the overall quality of this product, all the way down to the packaging and instruction booklet. CTD price and delivery both top-notch, as usual."
5.0 5
"Very happy with this light, no problems. Lights up about 70 yards give or take. Will be great for hog hunting. Want one more for other side of rails on the AR. If one works this good, two should be better."
5.0 5
"I am very pleased with this model. It's well constructed of all aluminum and all parts fit tight. The Finish is good. The Pressure switch works flawlessly. The Mounting hardware is solid, simple, and easily attached. Probably most importantly, this is like having a spotlight on my rifle. I can see clearly at 50 yards with it. And even better at its intended use in and around buildings. All this at a great price! I think Leapers/UTG is making a very nice niche for themselves, let's hope they don't figure out they're selling their products cheaper than comparable quality competitors."
5.0 5
"This is a great light for my AR for the price. It has super construction .It works flawlessly!"
5.0 5
"Great light, extremely bright. Its a little big for an M4 AR-15 but for the brightness I can get used it it!"
5.0 5
"I bought this light on Thursday and it came on Tuesday. This is a very nice light and it's bright as hell. It looks great on my DPMS AR-15. I might buy another one so taht I can keep one on my gun and carry one with me in my truck. I give this light 5 bullets."
4.0 5
"This is a very nice light . It is very bright . It is a little big, but overall it is a very good light."
5.0 5
"I bought this light and used it on my AR-15 because I did not want to spend alot of money. When I recieved it I was very impressed with how well packaged it was. This light is very bright, it will definitely blind you and has no problem lighting distances up to 100 yards. Both the button and the pressure switch work fine. Only bad thing is that it is a little big and heavy for a weapon mounted light. I will proabably buy another one for handheld use."
4.0 5
"I received the light tonight, and I installed it as soon as it warmed up. (It was on the porch most of the day.) It fit great. It is nice and tight and is a very good light at a very reasonable price."
5.0 5
"I totally agree with \"dvz.\" I got mine not too long ago specifically for my RRA CAR-15. It's somewhat bulky for a weapon mounted light but for this price who can complain?! I find that UTG is an underrated company. I have bought many of their products and have been very satisfied with all of them. I plan on buying another one for handheld purposes. Now if it could only be \"used\" like a Maglite it would be perfect!"
5.0 5
"What can I say, this was a hit. I love it, and I will be getting more. The price can't be beat - thanks CTD for a great value."
4.0 5
"Great light, I bought this because it had everything I need, a pressure switch, and a weapons mount. However the only reason I gave it 4 bullets is because you can't find a different colored filter for it. I tried one of the surefire ones, and it doesn't work out to well (I suppose after some creative tinkering I could use it). All in all, I would recommend this for a friend."
5.0 5
"AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME!!! I love this light! the pressure switch and tail cap switch work flawlessly!!! High quality product with a low cost!!! Good job UTG!!! This is a little large for a tac light but with its light output I am not complaining!!"
5.0 5
"just got my light today, (5 days after ordering) and i think its a great light, a little heavy and bulky but it makes up for it in light output! i have a 180.00 streamlight for my other AR-15 and i like this one more!"
2.0 5
"I got this light in December and when I assembled it, the light didn't work, then I had to fiddle with it to get it to work, and it never did dependably. I mounted it on my SKS and it worked okay for a while, had to smack it to even make it turn on, with the pressure switch or the turn-on. Now I have tried 4 different kinds of batteries and it just doesn't turn on at all, no matter what I try. A lot of people say that they love it, maybe I just got a defective one, but I would by no chance depend my life on it."
5.0 5
"I use this as my duty light and all my co-workers are jealous. The brightest light on the shift. Surefires, Streamlights, Maglites, you name it, this one is brighter than them ALL. Just a side note: they may not all be like this, but when the batteries on mine die, the light doesn't become dim then go out. It's all or nothing. Keep a spare set in your car. I love this light so much, I put one on my AK. It handles all the abuse I put it through."
5.0 5
"This light is amazing. It is so bright and effective. I mounted on my AR and I am not disappointed. For the money this cant be beat. A++++++"
5.0 5
"This dual-purpose light from UTG functions great, is very bright and has perfect balance between focus and peripheral lighting for a weapons-light, and so far it's very reliable. It does not have a lockout, so the only way to completely disable the light to prevent accidental activation when the button is pushed is to remove the batteries, but otherwise it stands up well to $400 similar models."
5.0 5
"Surefires are way overrated, from now on I'm sticking with UTG. This is super bright and the pressure switch works great"
5.0 5
"Got this light two weeks ago. I am very impressed how far the beam extends. This is a great light for any hunter looking to find the target at night without night vision. I mounted it on my AR-15 and I can see targets(aka pigs) clearly at 100 yards through my 3x9x40 scope. As some of the other reviews have said it is a little heavy but that is to be expected from a light as bright and big as this one. If you are got to be using it for hunting I highly recommend it. I will be purchasing another for use as everyday flashlight."
5.0 5
"This is an excellent tac light. the bodies are both very thick, at least twice as thick as a surefire. the remote pressure switch is good quality, and is o-ring sealed. Both bodies are double o-ring sealed, at both ends. you could probably take this light swimming. A comparable surefire to this will cost $400.00. this is easily every bit as good as that $400.00 surefire. I have owned three of them, and I will be recommending this light to friends in the future."
5.0 5
"Been using this light several months now, and still pleased with it. I don't think i'd use this indoors, a little too bright, but will allow me to see my crosshairs on target 100+ yards out. So far pretty rugged little light."
5.0 5
"This light is by far the best. It has twice the quality of those overrated surefire lights with half the price. Comes with everything you need. will buy more soon."
5.0 5
"What a great lamp for the price! The packaging alone deserves 5 bullets, the unit deserves 10! Solid, sturdy, fits like a glove, and just plain crazy bright! Fit my AR15 pistol great, I am using a carbine length handguard and the light is about that long. I could mount it flush with the handguard and still have room for either of the supplied switches. You should buy one!"
5.0 5
"I was very pleased with this light when it arrived. With all of the accessories included for the price, I did not expect it to be nearly as bright or as well put together. Thanks again for a great product."
5.0 5
"I purchased this item along with a replacement 4 rail gas block for my AR-15. I mounted this light below the barrel. I had to take my Dremel to the stock front grip, and make a small unnoticeable notch for the light to fit. Other than that it is perfect!"
5.0 5
"Got this light for my Sturmgewehr. This think is great very bright very sturdy well worth the money. It is brighter than my buddies swat issue stuff. If you need a light this is one to get!!!!"

"Good light, the reviews are very consistent with the product that I received. A little big for a tac light but I suppose to each his own. Surprisingly light for the size. It came with some POS batteries and didn't shine at first but after I replaced them with my own energizer ones, it was very bright, good for blinding. Overall 5 bullets because it was everything that is advertised and works just like it says it does. Great pic rail mount"

"Brightest Tac light on the market. Lights up the night for visability out to 75 yds. Great unit for blinding also. AA++."

"This has to be one of the greatest values currently on the tac-light market. This thing is solid as hell, and is brighter than any other light I've owned in the past. Lights up a dark street out to 100yds like it's nothing, and will light up rooms like you wouldn't believe. Excellent for red dot set-ups in pitch black situations... I've got nothing but good things to say about this light. Thanks Leapers, and thanks CTD! -God Bless"

"This may be the best flashlight I have bought. This thing is bright and lights up anywhere I point the weapon! It has a lot of adjustment for barrel mounting. You will not be unsatisfied so buy one!"

"The best light for your money hands down. I got one for my Remington 870 Tactical. 30 to 40 slugs through it, and it still works like a champ. I just got an AR-15 and was browsing through surefire stuff, nothing of theirs comes close to the lumens, and run-time of this light. Not to mention they all cost a lot. Don't think twice, these are great lights."

"... Well, that's it. I don't think I'll ever buy another tac light set-up again... aside from this one (and its little brother). So far, this light is superb in all aspects of its performance. It's been tossed around, rattled, and jolted; courtesy of an AK47, with ZERO malfunctions. Granted it's BIG, and bit heavy, I'm in no way dis-satisfied with this product. The mount is rock solid, and the flashlight has a remarkable battery life for its output; I guarantee it's every bit of 200 lumens. Whether you're a SHTF prep nut, law enforcement officer, military, hunter, or run n' gunner, this light WILL meet and EXCEED all of your specific needs. - God Bless"

"This is an update to my review of 22 Jan 2010. I made a mistake! Turns out the light DOES have a push-button on/off feature, it just doesn't work if you have the but cap screwed down too tight (it locks the push-button down). Sorry UTG and CTD. This is a very nice light, and I'm glad I got two when I did."

"This is by far the best flashlight I have ever purchased. You can't go wrong by purchasing this one. I mounted this light on my AR-15, and I've been happy with it ever since. I like it so much, I'm getting ready to buy another one for my AK."

"I took this light to Tactical Defense Institute in Southern Ohio for Tactical Rifle 1 and 2 class. I was rather pleased with its performance. The instructors swear by Surefire lights but at $400 to $700 a pop for a similar surefire light, this is what I can afford. It was able to keep up with all the expensive lights without any malfunction thanks to the solid state LED. One difference I notice between the LT-EL338 and other cost prohibitive lights is the LT-EL338 projects light into a small focused area to get the 200 lumens advertised while other lights have more of a flood light effect but still maintain the same intensity."

"Good strong light for the money, however the push pad went out in about a month. So I just switched caps to the manual push button. It is worth the money, and good as a tatical mounted or carry flash light. It's just a little large, however with the lesser price, I can deal with that. Put one in each car and keep several around the house. They are worth the money, great for emergency situations, and they can blind intruders."

"This is one fabulous light. Very bright, sturdy and well packaged. Very versatile as a weapon mounted light, or hand held as both bodies are included in this package. I have mine on a M&P 15. Yes, it is a little heavy, but that comes from the fact that it is so well constructed and machined. 200 Lumens are incredible! I shown the light a good 200 yards away, and was able to light up the trees without problem. I would recommend this to anyone looking for an excellent, all around and very bright, white light. Nobody will see what lies behind the shadow of this monster. Get one and thank CTD for the fast shipping, and excellent value offered by UTG and CTD! 5 stars without hesitation. Leave the Surefires and others to those that don't have budget constraints. Know that you have every bit the quality, and durability they have without compromise! Another job well done by CTD! I need to get another one for the vehicle and all around use. Tactical indeed!"

"Great light. Very bright and well constructed. May buy a second or third."

"I have a Century Arms Romanian AK. First, remove those things resembling front handguards and replace them with the Israeli made Mako front handguards. Sick!. Then mount this bad boy on it and you have one mean looking weapon. The light works flawlessly and is UBER BRIGHT! VERY good workmanship and rugged. I don't know why It's so cheap, but you better buy one before they are all gone!"
5.0 5
"I bought 2 of these, one for my AR-15 and one for my Remington 870 with the warhammer mount. Compared to the other tactical lights I've looked priced at local gun dealers this light is by far more solid in construction, more than twice as bright and at least half the price. Best light around for the price. I will be ordering more."
5.0 5
"As bright as expected, and really durable to boot! Definitely recommended!"
5.0 5
"This light is great! but I would like the button to be recessed a little other than that it's perfect for my use."
4.0 5
"Got this light to put on my new quad rail and is very bright. Fits securely on the mount. My only gripe is that mine came without a lens cover."
4.0 5
"It's a lot larger than I expected, but, it is a fine unit. Just too large for my use on the AK. I'll keep it due to the intense brightness and construction, which is high quality. It's a very bright light, costing far less than comparable, high dollar name brand units. For the money, you can't go wrong, and save them bucks over the more recongnized name brands."

"When I first read about this light I was kind of leary. This light proclaimed as a durable and bright light at a low cost. When I got this light opened the first thing I noticed was it's combat design and hardened aluminum case, which exceeded my expectations for a low cost flashlight. The first time I turned on the light, I saw spots from it reflecting off my white wall, so obviously it was very bright. I have put this light through the torture that a Sheriffs' Deputy typically puts his light through including being dropped, thrown, hit against a brick wall (like a club), used in the rain, as well as rolling around a squad car. For a full month I abused this light, and it is still working with a plethera of new scratches. This light also was used by myself for shining in an open field, and it has a pretty good reach although it was not designed for it. I have mounted my light on my AR-15 and have purchased a second one as my handheld. This light really is a great deal and I'm very happy that I didn't spend a lot of money on it!"
5.0 5
"I bought this light because I needed a durable, intense, lightweight flashlight for my tactical carbine. After reading the previous reviews, I decided to try it out. This is the best light I have seen so far, and the price is darn good for what you get. I'll be buying a second one for my father. If you have law enforcement in the family, buy them this light and they will be forever greatful."
5.0 5
"Extremely bright light! Turns a pitch black room to daylight. Is honestly as bright as a house lamp. Much bigger than the picture indicates but weight is negligible. Feels very well made, and the price is right. Awesome accessory for my M4 A3, and will definitely buy another for the Benelli I have been eyeing up."
3.0 5
"The light is bright as the moon, and mounts beautifully. Unfortunately I guess I got a lemon package because the pressure switch was faulty. It works great and then randomly doesn't. Then magically it works fine again. I can't find a faulty wiring point, and the flashlight seems to be fine, but just can't figure it out."
5.0 5
"As you can see there is no shortage of reviews. This light is amazingly bright. Almost too bright. While clearing close quarters, even from behind it, in total darkness it stresses the eyes. I got this last December and have put quite a few rounds through the AR it's mounted to. I have no issues at all. I especially like that it comes with both rifle mount and hand held mount. I carry the hand held housing and end cap in my \"go pack\" as a back up flash light option. Seems to be very durable and reliable. I'd say this is a must for any tactical shooter."
5.0 5
"Great quality for the money, extremely bright light. I can light up the entire barn 50 yards from my back porch! The light is very secure and doesn't loosen up on my AR. The alternative mount (for a regular hand-held) works well. It is a big light for a weapons platform light though, you might consider that. You'll also want to wrap the pressure switch with electrical tape, the stick on velcro won't last, but the switch has worked well for quite a while now. I'd definitely buy again for the price, thanks CTD."
5.0 5
"I tend to be hard on things, so I'm pleasantly surprised that this light has held up to the beating I've dished out on it! It's HEAVY DUTY in a serious way, and it has that high-quality feel you find in very expensive tactical gear. Great value for the $! The only complaint I have is that it won't fit into a 1\" closed ended mount because the \"nut\" that's cast into the end interferes. I didn't subtract any points for that, as you can tell from the picture that it's not going to fit without modifying something."
3.0 5
"Bright enough light (not 200 lumens) sturdy mount, but the on/off button on the end does not work. I have to twist it on and off. I have a TDL1 on my SKS, it's rated at 150 lumens, and it's MUCH brighter!"
5.0 5
"I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this light! It's very well constructed, and is even brighter than anticipated. It's mounted to my tactical shotgun, and easily surpasses the working range of my 12ga ammo. It is pretty large, but that goes well with a shotgun, and the large reflector makes for a nice throw of the light. It also uses a Cree emitter, which I'm confident will last a lifetime in this light. This is the 4th item I've purchased under the UTG brand name, and I have been VERY impressed with everything."
5.0 5
"Will blind anything in its path. 200 lumens is extremely bright. Its light distance is amazing. Light works great on my M4. Great for night hunting."
5.0 5
"I have absoulutely no complaints about this light. It is super bright and the mounting system is rock solid. It is pretty big, so consider that when mounting it on a rifle. I have mine on my Saiga conversion and it works awesome. I recieved it next day with regular shipping! Thanks CTD!"
5.0 5
"This is a very good light for the price. While I don't use the pressure switch, it works very well with the light. It's brighter than the sun. The only bad thing I could say about the light is that the screws on the rail mount are bulky and they can only be on one side. I mounted the light on the right side of my AR so the screw heads are on the top side of the gun and I don't like the way they look."
4.0 5
"I bought mine a couple months ago and so far, it has exceeded my expectations, for the price. With a 3x9 scope on my A3M4 I can see coyotes out to 200 yards, in pure darkness. For those with intermittent issues, mine had corrosion on the brass contacts (push button and corded) that I cleaned off with a scotch-brite pad before I installed them. I recommend cleaning them first as they should be fairly shiny. I agree with other comments about the adhesive being weak on the corded switch but past history with others, I expected it."
5.0 5
"This light is incredibly bright. It will illuminate a target nicely in excess of 100yds. The dual main bodies/tail caps are nice so you can mount it or use it like a regular flashlight. When I got mine the pressure switch was inop, but the guys at leapers were easy to deal with and got me a new one right away. The thumbscrew nuts are too big to fit leapers AK-quad rail on the right side but that is my only complaint."
5.0 5
"I was a bit of a sceptic at first but decided to try it out because I've been pleased with every UTG product that I have purchased in the past. I mounted this light onto my Rock River Arms LAR-15 and wow, it's light weight, sturdy, and amazingly is as bright as the high beams on my truck. It is worth every penny. I will be purchasing more in the future."
5.0 5
"It mounts tight, it's super bright, and works well with the UTG quad on my AR. I'm buying another one soon!"
5.0 5
"Great flashlight. Go ahead and buy it. The pressure switch was a little finicky at first but I cleaned the contacts with a pencil eraser and now it works great."
5.0 5
"This light is one of the best I have seen on the market for the price. I have a Bushmaster AR and that\uFFFDs what it is mounted to and it rocks. Super bright easy to put on. I am glad that I did not look at only the bad reviews. It\uFFFDs big but well worth the size. If you love a firearm this makes a great addition. Think I might buy one for my buddy for X-mas."
5.0 5
"This light mounts easily and it is BRIGHT. I mounted it on my Madi AK bullpup and it's great, if a tad heavy. I had no problems with the pressure switch at all. I like it enough that I'll order another one for my MAK 90 next month."
4.0 5
"This is a VERY bright flashlight, and I love the ability to use it standalone or mounted. However the pressure switch it came with is very finicky, and sometimes will not work at all. Certainly not something I would trust my life to."
2.0 5
"As others have already stated. It's bright! But both of the switches are crap. Needs a better design. Also no way to adjust the direction of the beam once it\uFFFDs on the rail. Mine is just a tad off center. Not too bad but enough to be annoying. I'm going to return mine and spend the money for something else that actually works properly."
4.0 5
"Bought this for my bushmaster ar. easy to install. great, bright light. I attached the pressure switch onto the factory stock handguard, and after shooting 100 rounds, the adhesive backing melted off of the handguard. The light still works, but I\uFFFDm unable to attach the pressure switch onto anything, it just dangles in the way. Needless to say, I\uFFFDm disappointed."
5.0 5
"Wow, this thing is bright! It is not too heavy. I would recommend it. The only downside is it is a bit heavy. 5 stars for the quality and brightness."
5.0 5
"Well, It's 7 months now since I mounted this beast to my AK47. After running and gunning, dropping and banging, and over 1,000 rounds, this light has yet to flinch, hiccup, or even burn through its first set of Energizer batteries. I can't tell you what a value this light is. Some people are afraid to buy a light that takes harder to find lithium batteries, but the durability, service life, and 10 plus year shelf life of them makes this light and battery combination the best light for the WROL-SHTF prepper."
5.0 5
"The switch takes a little finesse, but I soon realized you hold the tail down snug to the battery as you tighten the end cap. The remote works like a charm. Overall, it is too large and heavy and does require three batteries. But, where else you gonna find a 200 lumen light for this price? I will buy another one."
5.0 5
"This is an extremely bright light. Mounted to my rail and is very solid. It will take a beating from what I can tell by looking at it. The pressure switch could use a little work but I don\uFFFDt plan on using that anyway. Use it as a tac light or as a hand held flashlight. I love this little light."
3.0 5
"Overall, this is a great flashlight. It is bright and durable, but I think they could work on the design. I did not realize how huge it was until I opened the box. I was going for somthing more smaller. Also, I hate how there is no on/off switch which also caught me by surprise. I don't like how you have to tighten the bottom pc all the way just to keep the light to stay on. Also, the pressure switch is a little wack. It seems to decide when it wants to work or not. I would return it but, it's super bright and built strong and was pretty cheap. It would be good to have around the house."
4.0 5
"This light will blind you! 200 lumens is very bright! Presure switch works awesome. The only drawback is the size of the light is pretty bulky."
5.0 5
"This light is awsome for the price. It is defently 200 lumes super bright. The only downfall is the size is a bit on the big side. defently worth the money! stay safe"

"Its high end China junk! It seems to work find even the stress switch seems to work find. Pretty heavy for the size it comes with a nice box LoL!!! Im just getting tired of so much import not showing what Country it comes from untill you get it in front of yourself. Anyways good light for the price!!!!!!!!!!!!"

"Using this light on a MAK-90 mounted on Picatinny side rail. The LED is super bright and its position lights up the front sight perfectly. Both the push button and pressure pad work awesome; although the Velcro they provide sucks, I recommend going to walmart and buying some M3 Velcro tape that's what I did. It is highly recommend."
5.0 5
"Great product at a great price. Solid piece of equipment. Very, very bright. Not too heavy and fits great on my Sig 556 Swat. The velcro does suck, but that can be easily solved."
4.0 5
"This light is very bright, larger than I expected but looks good on my tactical Rem 870. I did have trouble with the pressure switch though. It seemed to have a loose wire. It would work fine and then I would rack the gun and it wouldn't work. I could tap on it or wiggle the wire and it would start working again. Good news is Cheaper Than Dirt has great customer service. I called and they offered to replace the whole thing or I could call the manufacturer and see if they would send me a new switch. That's what I did and Leapers has good customer service also. They sent me a new pressure switch and it seems to be working fine now."
2.0 5
"Fired 300 rounds on my AR-15, and noticed that the mount kept getting loose. I've fixed the problem with the switch, and now this?! I'm very, very disappointed with the quality of this light. I guess you get what you pay for.The light is otherwise still working and still bright."
5.0 5
"It mounted to the rails on my CETME. It looks better, since the size of the rifle balances the size of the light. It hasn't come loose under 7.62 recoil. I abandoned the velcro tape supplied with the light and mounted the pressure switch to a gps grip pod with 2 black rubberbands. the light is very bright and perfect for blinding intruders/animals alike."
5.0 5
"This is the best flashlight I have and I have alot. I nead to get one more because I keep takeing it off my gun to ues it as a flashlight instead of being mounted to my gun that is in my tuck. All I can say is get one (or 2)."
5.0 5
"Got this light almost a year ago and it's still kickin' strong. Everyone at work wants to borrow it constantly. I've owned Surefire, Maglites and Streamlites, but for the money, this is the best, hands down."
5.0 5
"Super bright, great field of illumination. Construction is very solid. The only way you could hurt it is to intentionally beat it with a hammer. I like it so much that it replaced the mag-light I used to keep in my semi. I keep it on the dash for doing pretrips and looking for street signs/addresses on dark streets. I actually ran over it early one morning and only damage was some scratches. There are three downsides. The batteries aren't common enough to be found everywhere, it lacks a click type on/off switch, and its larger and heavier than you \"might\" need/want."
5.0 5
"This is good bright light, the switch works ok but the Velcro that comes with it could be a little sticky to stay in place. Good mount and stays in place. Some say it's a little large and heavy but to me I say not. It is mounted on a AR-15, this light will light up your subject very well in the 100 - 150 foot range, further depending on if you see eyes... add a red dot site and job done. Remember if you can't see it you can't hit it...."
5.0 5
"This is one great light. Light is heavy duty, and gun mount is rock solid. This light easily projects a beam 100 yards, and would blind an intruder in a house. The pressure switch works great. While some may say it's a little large, I consider it a perfect fit on my tactical shotgun."
3.0 5
"It is a nice flashlight, but bigger than I expected. The pressure switch worked intermittently. Not dependable. Also needs 3 batteries instead of 2, most common is 2."
4.0 5
"This light is extremely bright! the pressure switch worked great. Much brighter than my pelican tactical light. I used it on a night varmint hunt and it was just as bright as the spotlight we had. BUT...this thing is very heavy and I wouldn't want to have it mounted on a weapon if you planned on carrying it for very long. 4 out of 5 stars because of the weight."
5.0 5
"Very bright. It mounted right on my rails with no slop. A little heavy and a little bulky but functionally incredible. Pressure switch works very well. Only improvement i would make would be to have a push button on the back to turn it on instead of twisting. Great bright durable light for the price."
4.0 5
"The light itself is sturdy and the bright, but when I hook up the pressure switch it does not consistently work all of the time. I removed the pressure switch and use the regular switch now and works fine, but bought this light because of the pressure switch...oh well."
5.0 5
"This light is almost too bright for a home defense use but i think it's awesome. it will light up clear across a 100 yard field no problem, and has a straight nasty beam. it is a little heavy but come on be a man don't let the weight stop u from buying this slick flashlight. For the price u can NOT beat this thing! I mounted it on my AK and it is my new hunting buddy! Do it buy it!!"
3.0 5
"This light is very solid, durable, snug on the rail, and incredibly bright. It's a little heavy, and the pressure switch doesn't seem to work unless you mount it just right. If you hold the pressure cap in place while you screw down the nut it works just fine. It's still a great buy and I have no regrets with it."
4.0 5
"I purchased this for my XM-15, and found it is almost the brightest light I have ever owned. After the first 200 rounds through my rifle, I had to retighten the set screws. No big deal there.Another 200 rounds, and the pressure switch stopped working. I've ordered two more pressure switches just in case, and that is my only complaint about the light. The pressure switch leaves something to be desired. It would be nice if they included a way to secure the switch to the rifle (I used some double sided tape)."
4.0 5
"Mounted on my DPMS 223, very nice light for the money, also like the all in one mount frame that is interchangeable. Can be used as a hand held."
5.0 5
"Stunningly (is that a word?) bright light. Turns a completely dark room into daylight. You cannot stand to even look toward it when it is pointed at you. Anybody that is walking around in the dark would be well served by this flashlight, weapon mounted or not. I have tried out mine, no problems."
5.0 5
"Very, very bright light. The size is a little bulkier than some of the other lights I've seen, and this requires 3 batteries, where normally the lights I have seen only require 2. It fits snugly onto my UTG rail system, and hasn't given me any problems. For the price, its an excellent deal - if you expect something smaller, be prepared to pay for it."
3.0 5
"Have had it for a year great bright light, will blind any one that is on the other end.... it shipped fast an worth the price... but... it eats through batts an my bulb kinda burnt, I did not have it on long an now a brown spot in the middle of the light not cool... I can get a replacement bulb an also maybe a xenon bulb... I do recommend this product!!! great for camping... not a shotgun light way to heavy.."
5.0 5
"Excellent Tactical flashlight. I have compared this light with similar, more expensive, surefire models. Fit, finish, performance & price just as good or better. Only minor gripe is I wish this light used AA batteries instead of the CR123 batteries."
5.0 5
"Ordered this bad boy a little less the 48 hours ago, and it sits on my AR, as I type. Anyway, the light..... ROCKS, now I am not well trained or anything, but this took me like 15 minutes to mount, and I had to install a illumination MOE kit too. All in 15 minutess!!!IT IS BRIGHT>Buddy has a TLR-1, and you would think it was a incandescent compared to this light. Watch out, it is a lil big and heavy, but for the price......"
5.0 5
"Wow!! Nuff Said....best out there. Thanks CTD and UTG. Well, one more thing...UTG finally made a product that is not uglier'n a mud fence in a rain storm. Not a bad looking unit."

"Buy it while it lasts. More than I ever expected for the price..."

"I purchased this light several months ago, and use it on a regular basis, both on my M4, and as a law enforcement duty light. This light is simply awesome! Very bright, and very durable. This is a great price for a very well made light. I have never gone wrong with any Leapers UTG products. Don't waste your hard earned money on a more expensive light, when this one gets the job done, and then some."

"Mounted on a Ithica Modle 37. 18 1/2 inch barrel with ghost ring sights. Front sight has a large base. Used SCP-626 barrel mount up againt the front sight base. Was close in fitting on the weapon. But I can still unscrew the tail so even if the pressure switch is activated the light will not run in a gun case or storage container. This light gets quite hot and will melt and burn foams or anything it touches. It holds the heat a while. Cops don't use it on drug lab raids. It would be a sourse of ignition. But you cant beat it. It puts out a lot of light. Sunlight will wash it out but I can't see it being washed out indoors. There is a good bright center beam and a secondary light ring for target identification. The center beam hit my point of impact with no modification."

"Are you sure this isn't robbery? I mean thats a give-away price. It really is super bright. In a dark room it looks like you turned a ceiling light on. The whole room or area you point at is very very well lit. I have it mounted on my Saiga 12 and I shot heavy magnum slugs and buckshot today at the range and it still shines perfect. Affordable, Reliable, BRIGHT! Only cons are how big and heavy it is. ITS HUGE, but my saiga 12 is also so its allgood. It does stick out pretty far"

"This light is an incredible value. I have an M4 style AR that I take to the desert for protection on camping trips. I bought this light to increase my combat effectiveness at night, and it did not disappoint me. In fact, this light has far surpassed my expectations and hopes. I mounted it so I can use my thumb from my left hand (holding vertical pistol grip) to toggle the momentary on/off switch. So far I've tested the light near my home in an urban area, and even with the full moon and street lights on, this light is incredible. I lit up the side of a house about 100 yds away like I was shining a spotlight on it. Then I shined the light down the street farther (about 175 yds) and illuminated a person standing by his car that I couldn't even see before I turned the light on. At this distant, it wasn't as much like a floodlight effect, but it was still enough to make an identification. If you plan to use this like for the outdoors in long range situations, I highly recommend it. It may be a bit overkill for CQB; I'd get the 150 lumen UTG light for that. And to those who say it's too heavy -- Who cares? You keep it on your weapon for self-defense. If you're going to carry it around or go shooting, take it off. It takes about 10 seconds. All in all, I couldn't give the light a better recommendation."
5.0 5
"I love it. Very bright, a great buy. All my friends were amazed and blinded by this light. The fact that it came with a gun mount body and pressure switch was just a bonus. I use this as a personal carry and in the glove box, and my neighbor is getting me to order him one for his AR."
4.0 5
"Great light for my Mossberg 500. Not as heavy as some people seem to think. Unloaded, my Mossberg balances right in the middle with the light attached. My only beef with this is that the non-corded light switch is an always-on rather than an on/off toggle button. Apart from that, this thing will light up a room with no problem! A little overkill for indoor use, but I'd imagine it would be great outdoors as well."
5.0 5
"I was impressed, this light is bright and really reaches out, provides a \"hot spot\" very adequate for snap shooting aim if needed. You shine this on someone not expecting it they will be momentarily stunned. The mount is solid, the light is well \"O\" ringed. The pressure switch comes with some double back tape to position it. I would like to figure out something other than tape so I can remove the light and switch at will.Great delivery 3 days to SW Florida, three shipments three warehouses involved, all came same day."

"I bought this light over a year ago. It is a great light, and very bright. Couple months back the tape switch stopped working, I think the cord got caught on something and damaged the wires in the end cap. The push button still works fine. A friend of mine has replaced his high dollar Surefire twice before I even replaced batteries on this light. I can buy a whole new light just for the tape switch and still spend less all together than he did for one of his busted Surefires."
