Cartridge fits inside the pistol chamber and features a firing-pin activated switch that indicates bullet impact with a bright red laser dot. For the cost of one or two visits to a local range, shooting enthusiasts can enjoy a lifetime of free training.

Easily installs into the chamber in seconds, works regardless of barrel length and does not stick out of the barrel. The cartridge activates for 100 milliseconds each time the firing pin strikes the cartridge, and is rimless, so it is not expelled during dry fire, which allows for tap, rack, bang or malfunction training drills.

A hardened rubber plunger on the laser also acts as a built-in snap cap to protect the firing pin and two rubber rings on the laser help ensure a proper fit in order to best replicate bullet impact for accurate training.

Requires three 377 batteries, good for approximately 3,000 shots.

"I purchased the LT9 laser bullets recently and was very excited when I got it in the mail. However, after about 50 shots the laser stopped working. I replaced the batteries thinking maybe this was the cause of the failure, it was not.. I hope this is an easy fix because during the short time the product worked I was in love. Now I just have a $100 gold bullet that does nothing. I have full faith that ctd will make things right, they are usually good about taking care of their customers. Will keep you guys updated."

"I just received my order for a LT-9 laser trainer cartridge on 4-17-2014 from Cheaperthandirt.com. I removed it from the package and inserted it into my gun, readied pistol and pulled the trigger to fire red laser and nothing happened. No red laser dot at all. I tried this 4 times and I had the same result. The checked the batteries which came with the laser and they are good. For a product that cost $79.97 and does not work is unacceptable. I did read one review stating that they fired it so many times and then it stopped working for them. That was in 2013. As the other review said we now have an $80.00 training laser bullet that does not work. We'll see what Laserlyte will do to make this right. I will probably have to wait weeks for a replacement. I will keep you posted until then don't purchase this piece of junk."
