FIN Fixed Blade Tanto -
Designed by Peter Janda, the FIN Fixed Blade Knives are made to be extremely rugged. D2 steel blades, a \"humped back\" handle designed to fit perfectly in the palm of the hand, and a locking, ambidextrous GFN PA66 sheath ensure these knives will stand up to the toughest tasks.

Tanto Blade -
This knife blade was inspired by the shape of the Japanese sword blades. The point to this style blade is in line with the spine of the blade. The tanto has a reinforced point which is thick and strong and is good for heavy duty stabbing cuts.

Fixed Blade -
A fixed blade is a solid piece of steel, anchored to the handle without any folding mechanisms. It's durable and holds up well against the elements.

Hollow Ground -
The ground surface of the blade is concave and used to create a fine cutting edge.

Glass Filled Nylon -
Material used to make sheaths. Nylon is reinforced with glass particles and other materials to provide strength and durability while still allowing some flexibility.

D2 Steel -
Air hardened tool steel, that offers good corrosion resistance and excellent mileage in wear resistance. It is a good choice for hard use applications.

"I bought the serrated edge Ka-Bar Tanto, they are now out of stock on that one. It's a big one. thick blade, very sharp for this size. can not beat the price for this much D2 steel. I have put it in dirt, wood, phone book and metal. kept its point and edge very well. if your looking for a great fix blade this is it. the loop on the sheath is the only thing i dont like, but you can buy a new clip for it you just got to find it. And it's a tad heavy, but still a great fix blade. Just to let you know, I have a TOPS fix blade that I paid 385, and I will take my Ka-Bar with me for now on. you will like it."
