The G3 was adopted in 1958 as the standard infantry weapon of the German Bundeswehr replacing the Bundeswehr's G1 and remaining in service until 1997. The G3 was chambered in 7.62 x 51 mm. G3 stands for "Gewehr 3", German for "Rifle, 3". These rifles have been taken apart and the parts are now being sold in the surplus market. This is a complete OD Green stock set that includes an OD Green buttstock and forearm, Black grip, and some hardware in Grade II condition.

Hardware typically includes the buttpad, backplate and recoil rod assembly with buffer assembly . Hardware typically does not include push pins, grip screw or grip washer.

This furniture will fit most HK 91, PTR-91, and CETME rifles, though some fitting and modification may be necessary.

All Military surplus products are used, the condition of the products varies, and the quantities may be limited.
Surplus condition scale:
Grade I - Used in like new to excellent condition.
Grade II - Used in good condition, may show minor use.
Grade III - Used in fair condition, will show normal wear and tear from daily use.

"the whole set is really awesome, in my opinion, for what you pay for it, yes it does have a few scratches but step back a few feet and it looks awesome on my HK, I recommend this to everyone!"

"I bought this hoping to put it on my CETME. All i had to do was sand a tiny bit off the neoprene washer on the front of the recoil sping and the whole stock set just slipped on with no other problems. a little scratched up but great value:)"

"A lot more dinged up than I expected. Lots of sticker residue, scuffs. The butt itself is fairly worn. One stock pin is included, the other missing, the handguard included it's pin, which is appreciated. Hanguard looks nice, is very sticky though."

"Very pleased with the surplus stock set. As advertised , it was used but in acceptable condition for the price paid. Under ten bucks....come on , it comes with a complete recoil spring assy. The cool green color completes a rather mean looking rifle."

"German G3 surplus. My parts dated from 1960. Fore-end was in excellent condition. Stock had paint pencil numbers others have reported, but no big deal. But stock was more worn, but you'll have similar scratches if you shoot your HK any. Grip was green, and quite worn/scratched. Again, as expected from a used set, but this was the most worn of the parts. I had purchased the new grip/foreend set, so I'll use the Grip from that. The supplied grip was servicable, just well worn. You will want to paint the metal around the but stock, as it's bare with no parkerizing or remaining finish.Shipping was super fast, and customer service was great. You can't beat the price, and if you have an H&K, G3, or CETME it's worth picking up a set"

"Stock set arrived in beautiful condition! Foregrip is like new, pistol grip had handling marks but was mint (green) and the stock appears new except for handling/storage marks on the butt and some painted numbers which were removed easily. Best 10 bucks I ever spent!!! They threw in the leather strap with the order to boot. All parts and mags with this order were from '67 but you'd never know by looking at them. Second order is on the way for spares, get them before there gone or $$$. Thanks CTD!"

"Purchased this set for my CETME. It was less dinged up that I thought it would be based on some of the other reviews. Hand grip and pistol grip were near new condition. The butt stock was a bit scratched up and had tape and numbers written on it but a good cleaning and a little Goo Be Gone applied to the tape residue cleaned it right up. For a full set for under 10 bucks... it's a super buy. (My whole set was OD) Get one before they are gone for good!"

"I ordered this for my Century Cetme (on Thursday evening and got it today- Saturday), figuring that even if it didn't fit, what am I out? Well, it fits just fine. No shaving, no sanding, no nothing. My only complaint is that the forearm is a different color green than the stock. Being as I have olive drab flat camouflage paint from Krylon, I will, in 24 hours have a set that matches."
4.0 5
"This is the second review I have written on this stock. Yeah, it was a little dinged up, and the forearm did not match the stock. It does now. I lightly sanded both the stock and forearm, then used 0000 steel wool on them. I wiped them down with a microfiber cloth, then taped off the metal. Both the stock and forearm are now a matching shade of olice drab, thanks to Krylon's camouflage paint. After that dried, I steel-wooled the bare metal around the stock, wiped it down with dentaured alcohol, taped off the stock, spring and inside the metal, and sprayed it with high-heat, flat black engine paint. Talk about awesome-looking... The best part is, if I get tired of the color, well, let's just say there are a lot of finishes out there I can apply. (I wonder how she would look in purple metallic flake? HMMMMMM.....)"

"Got the stock set today will not fit my cetme. The forstock will fit but is loose at the back. The butstock wont fit!"

"I bought a half dozen of these for my pair of PTR-91 rifles (or, as I call 'em, HKlones). The barrel on the PTR is a heavier barrel than the HK91 so a little work with a Dremel tool was required to shave down the ribs inside the forend. Simple 15 minutes of work. I bought extras for the recoil assembly (easily worth the ten bucks) and to paint up a couple winter camo sets. Condition of the stocks was great however one buttstock cracked completely through at the wrist after about 40 rounds. But, for ten bucks I wasnt going to sweat it. I'll keep it for the spare parts. I give the deal 4 stars...it deserves five for the screamin' value of the stock set but Im holding one back because a couple of the stocks were pretty rugged...nothing that would impede the stocks function, just cosmetic really. But, hey, it makes my PTR look like its got some character. Seriously, buy a bunch of these 'cause in a year youre gonna be kicking yourself for not getting them."

"i ordered 2 sets.....both sets were used. but, they were in great condition!!!...........not all beat, or scratched up either!!!...they both even came with green pistol grips too !!!!!!!!"

"If you've got a HK91 or a copy thereof, this is a fine buy to customize your rifle. I bought 3 sets together; all three were visibly used, but not too bad. I mounted the set on my PTR91, and the stock broke after setting the rifle down too hard. I imagine it had a pe-existing hairline fracture, but that's why I bought 3 sets. At this price, you can afford to, and it's well worth it. PS: if your rifle has anything thicker than the original thin G3 barrel, you might have to carve out the handguard a little to make it fit."
4.0 5
"I bought 2 of these and they look pretty nice except they cut them out of bags with razor knives and left big long slits in the butt stocks. It took a lot of goo gone to get the 20 year old tape off but the metal looks to be in good shape with no rust and not much wear. 1 hand guard was dated 5/75 and it looks brand new. If it wasn't for the razor marks these would be 5 bullet parts."

"I just received my stock set and also took a chance on ordering the collapsible stock for my Portuguese G3 and I must say both stock sets are in excellent, and apparently unused condition. CTD really delivered a fantastic product at a fantastic price. Jump on this while you can!!!!!!!!!"

"I ordered a pair of these and I am glad I did. One was in unissed condition and even still had the leather sling attached and even had one of the two buttstock pins and the forearm pin rolling around in the bottom of the bag. An unexpected bonus! The other was a bit scuffed and the forearm pin hole didn't quite line up with the one on the rifle, but would with minor tweaking. Both pistol grips were a little worn, but still in decent shape. The recoil spring components were in perfect shape. Yeah, they'll require a little cleanup for the tape, etc, but for less than 10 bucks, it's still a very good deal. I plan on painting the rougher of the two stocks anyway, so the cosmetic issues don't bother me at all. Now if only CTD could find some of the scarce tan-colored stock sets, I'd be even happier."
5.0 5
"Awesome stock set that I was very happy with. The metal buttstock housing took *substantial* refitting to work on my cetme. Forend however was no problem. Got a green pistol grip. Quality wise it was in \"like new\" condition. Not so much as a scuff; no tape, no scratches, nada. Came with the hardware pins too:). A sling was still attached to the buttstock as well. Cleaned it with rubbing alcohol and looks almost new. BUY IT, you got 0 to lose for $10."
5.0 5
"All parts fit my CETME beautifully - I had to do a bit of sanding on the spring retaining ring, but after that it fit perfectly and it made the action of the charging handle smoother than it had ever been! The fore end stock fit like a charm. I could have used a couple of better-fitting retaining pins for the buttstock, but those should be easy to find.Overall a fantastic price on some great gear! Thank you, CTD!"
2.0 5
"I ordered one of these sets to get a stock set that was basically worthless. The metal parts are refinishable but would definetly rate my set as \"Fair to Poor condition.\" The forearm is damaged and will not fit my HK91 and the buttstock is extremely gouged and outright destroyed not to mention it was coated in some sort of adhesive. Good luck with this lottery of a stock set!"
4.0 5
"Just got mine in. It fits my CETME flawlessly. On the downside it is pretty banged up. The butt stock has some pretty bad gouges, and the pistol grip is worse than the one I already had so I opted out on that one, the forearm was in great shape very few major scratches. So really overall it was a great buy, but isnt in the greatest shape. I guess you cant ask for more when you only spend ten bucks."
4.0 5
"Oh yeah got my stock set worked flawles on hk but needed a little alteration for cetme rifle i bought it for it was used enough to have the proper amount of character that a battle rifle needs all that for 10 bucks good deal for me ordering another for the hk"
3.0 5
"The stock and fore arm don't match but for ten bucks the hardware included is a steal- the forearm is topnotch and the stock is in great shape...."
4.0 5
"All came in pretty good conditon. they are bone dry so expect to oil and polish out the minor scraches. i wish that they told you that the foregrip is for the 18\" barrels and NOT for 16\" guns. I was also missing a push pin but it still had the orignals so it doesn't matter."
4.0 5
"I received my HK stock and handguard set today. It was pot luck on the color but I received the OD like I wanted. THese are original issue HK parts as best I can tell. My set was in good condition but missing one stock pin. I'm not complaining though because the recoil spring and guide are worth more than the price of the entire set. Here's an idea, put your original stock set in storage and paint this set your favorite desert or woodland camo."
4.0 5
"nice set all od except the pistol grip.no big deal spray painting it od.was missing 1 stock pin but will use the one off my wood stock.other then that awesome deal."
4.0 5
"The butt stock did not line up with my Century International Arms G3 (HK91 clone). (I suspect this is a shortcoming of the clone and not the HK part) The metal bends were not in the same shape. This was a shame as this replacement butt stock is superior to my current as it has a sling attachment that mine does not have. I'll have to keep working on this and maybe I'll get it to fit yet. Forearm fit and functioned great. Is missing one butt stock pin as others have stated. Less than $10, yea, still a great deal!"
5.0 5
"I got one of these sets for my HK91 and I love it. It looks as good as new and fit like a champ. I jacked up my wood stock while hunting and couldn't pass up the chance to fix my mistake for $10. Get one and you won't be sorry."
4.0 5
"I bought this set for my CETME and after altering the plastic piece at the end of the guide rod it fit perfectly! I swear the shooting is much smoother than before! Showed some wear but after a little epoxy for texture and a professional duracoat from galtsguns this thing looks brand new! Thanks CD!!"
5.0 5
"I just received my HK91 stock set. What a pleasant surprise it was.It is in very good + condition no heavy scratches at all and i even got a olive hand grip. The metal on the butt stock had a good 95%+ finish remaining as well.Truly a high Quality and excellent replacement stock showing little use"
3.0 5
"good set. A little off color and worn but perfect for my project gun that was getting painted desert sand. Looks great cleaned and painted."
4.0 5
"mine looked fine ordering another one...And don't do what i did and sand the plastic washer to small. in which caused my recoil rod to much movement and kept catching the bolt on recoil. so now i have to remove the spring collar from my old one and replace on the green stock. Also like otis said a dremel is your best friend in fitting the G3 stock to your Cetme. I took a little metal off the inside to get it to slide on the reciever smoothly instead of jamming it on which makes disassembly a PITA"
4.0 5
"There are more than $10.00 worth of spare parts in just the hardware ,I got 5 of them, 1 was in exellent shape like new ,mixed and matched and sold my shooting buddys some nice kits for there guns,Might buy some more (GREAT DEAL)"
4.0 5
"buttstock & grip was in decent shape but forearm was pretty banged up. Still, cant complain; for 10 bucks its more than worth it. good deal"
5.0 5
"Between the price for this and the decent reviews, I thought I would pick one up. I mean for $10 why not take a chance. Its definitely seen some use, as its a bit wore and faded, but overall its in very good shape. It fit perfectly on my century Cetme, and I couldn't be more pleased with my purchase."
3.0 5
"I bought this set for my new CETME after reading a few reviews that said it worked great. On the set I received the plastic washer on the spring is to large for the bolt carrier, so without some serious work to replace the washer the stock is useless to me. The forearm went on like a champ and has the metal heat shield installed unlike the black forarm that came with my gun thats why I am still giving this a 3 rating. If you have a Century CETME just be aware that not all of the stocks will work instantly with your gun."
5.0 5
"I loved the stock set I bought. The foregrip went right in place, and came with a proper connector, since the screw from my CETME was too small. The stock will not fit into the proper place, though I'm sure some work will change that (as others have mentioned). I'm just not very good at metal work, lol"

"JumpB11@AOL.COM ORDERED ONE SET COULD NOT GET BUTT STOCK TO WORK VERY FUSTRATING AFTER SPENDING 26 YEARS IN THE INFANTRY TOOK IT TO MY GUN SMITH 20 MIN JOB DONE GRUNT HAPPY RANGERS LEAD THE WAY"

"I ordered 2 sets after reading the reviews for my Century CETME Clone and thank god I did. One set was mismatched. The buttstock lighter green than the forarm. The other set had a scuffed up forearm. Luckily I was able to match parts up and have a beautiful new set! Fitment was almost perfect as I had to take some sand paper to the plastic washer (no biggie). The grip was not green, but at least felt much better than the cheap plastic century one. Overall, VERY HAPPY with the new look. This kit would easily fetch $50 and more at a gun show."
5.0 5
"these are great .. i have purchased several ( i have camo-ed them in several different forms ) for the area to be used in .they are in great shape upon arrival, and with very little talent they will be in any form of camo you can make they will keep the original stock set that yours came with safe from damage. if you need a new stock set i recomend this as a must purchase ,the H&K 91 is my all time favorite so i am a little biased , however for the money it can't be beat,"
4.0 5
"the stock set that arrived for replacement of my Century arms CETME stock was asthetically rough. The forend is scraped at the end and it is well worn, also the butstock looks less than new. However the set is still in nice shape for a surplus item. The stock took some time to fit because I swopped out the little plastic o-ring for the one from my CETME and performed all fitting by hand. The buttstock fits, thanks to my set of files, but tightly; this will no doubt make it harder to dissasemble. Overall I am pleased with the stock set, eventhough it is a little rough, as you can not beet the price. Hope to see how it feel to shoot my CETME with the new stock in the near future. As for Cheaper Than Dirt their service was excellent and they offer good products at a fair price."
4.0 5
"I picked up one set and am happy with it. The fore end is alittle darker than the butt and a black pistol grip. Will be picking up 3 more sets to camo in various styles. Maybe I can get 1 set the same green. All in all for the price it's a good buy."
5.0 5
"these are some of the best surplus stocks I have seen in a very long time. Super surplus from CTD...you want it...you need it...so buy it..can't go wrong!"
5.0 5
"I ordered two sets. One still had production tags on it and the other was in very good used condition. The used one I put a cheek riser on and sprayed some extra paint on to break up the pattern and for less than ten bucks I had a good designated marksman stock. Both kits came with a single stock pin and a forward grip pin."
5.0 5
"I purchased this set for my PTR-91. I intend to use it for hunting and beating around in the woods. You will have to sand the inside of the forearm, and possibly the end closest to the magazine well, in order to get it to slide onto a PTR-91. Overall, this is an excellent value for surplus furniture."
5.0 5
"Why do people give a low rating because these aren't drop in fit on a Cetme??? they are labeled on the add as such and if you read enough to know they can fit you should also have read they need a little work to do so. But for My 91.... I ordered 2 sets just to have as spares. both sets were great. a little worn in places, but what do you expect from a stock made in the 60's or 70's??"
5.0 5
"These are excellent stocks for the money. If using it for your CETME, remember the plastic bushing on the end of the recoil rod needs sanding down a bit to fit your CETME carrier. I'm reading below some don't understand that and believe it won't work. Also, the G3 stock metal is longer and will fit very tight, maybe even requiring some fitting. Century did a number on their CETMEs and some will work easier than others BUT, you will have a better stock and recoil assembly when done."
5.0 5
"I purchased the stock to get rid of the hollow Century stock set-up on my CETME, and I couldn't be more pleased. All that was required is to gently \"grind\" down the plastic spring retainer/bushing, and all the parts fit like a glove, plus I now have a rear sling point, which is a plus. I did not know that the kit came with the leather HK sling, so I ordered a sling, which is fine, as I now have a spare.Total installation time was around 5 minutes."
4.0 5
"Like the other people that bought these surplus g3 sets I had plans on using the backplate and recoil assembly on my CETME. I got my order in the shipping time stated, got the set plus 2 pins and a useable leather sling. The backplate still had a nice finish on it, as in pretty nice for surplus. The forearm has some paint on it, but no big marks in it and it is in nice shape. I will use some plastic safe paint remover on it if I ever feel like using the surplus forearm. I had new OD green stock, wide forearm, grip, and butt pad waiting, I was very pleased when I opened the box from CTD and all the parts were in pretty good shape , I didn\uFFFDt have to paint the backplate, and everything fit together. I would have given the stock set 5 stars if it wasn\uFFFDt for the painted over forearm."
4.0 5
"I just got my Stock set. It did look well worn and had no pins. The buttstock had a lot of stickers and looked decent, Thetgrip was new, the foregrip was nice with some scuffs and a sling was attached to the buttstock. A good buy for this price."
3.0 5
"I received my stock set today, which was in good condition. However, the guide rod was broke on my set, which customer service replaced at no extra charge. Nevertheless, the stock items are pretty scratched up, but the hand grip was brand new in a sealed package. Also, the kit came with the sling, as well as push pins. Therefore, I would say that this kit offers some useful parts, but the stock itself is not cosmetically good."
4.0 5
"Shipping was fast as always. The buttstock and butt pad were in below grade 2 condition. I will order a new butt pad and repaint the stock. Pistol grip was broken out of the box. could have been Fedex, not sure. I glued it back together. The fore grip was the best part, it fit snuggly and looked brand new. All in all, Great value for the money. For 1960's HK parts you can't beat this deal. For my CETME, I had to lightly sand the plastic washer just like everybody else. I gave only four bullets cause the grip was broken, and butt pad looked like it had a belt sander taken to it. CTD is great as always."
4.0 5
"Ordered this set for my Century CETME, Grip and Forearm fit great Love the OD green. How ever the Spring would not let my CETME lock back. Will keep it to mod it later, All in all Great buy."
4.0 5
"I received my replacement stock set today, and it was in better condition that the previous set I ordered. However, the parts that I did receive were not manufactured by H&K nor are they made for the G3 rifle. Moreover, the parts that I received appear to be either aftermarket parts or parts made for a semi-auto version, because the butt stock is in a hunter green color with no date-codes, and the forearm has been painted green. Furthermore, the back plate lacks a German manufacturer code, as well as is made in a lesser quality process than the original H&K types, which has circle imprints around the metal housing. Even though the condition is decent, the parts are not actual \"G3\" parts, since they are more relevant to FMP or another 3rd party vendor. I do have an actual H&K G3 stock set, but was disappointed due to the lacking characteristics of the parts that I received from CTD. Hopefully, other sets are not of this fashion."
4.0 5
"Good kit, parts were in pretty good condition. The only scratches were on the buttstock where the numbers 67 had been scratched off, but I kind of like that. Nothing was painted over everything was green plastic. I put this kit on my CETME and it fits perfectly. The plastic ring on the buttstock can be cut down with a knife and sand paper in less than a half hour. The foregrip needs to be secured with a screw/pin, which mine didn't come with, so I stuck a bit of wood in between the metal on the inside and it works fine."
5.0 5
"A year ago I paid half the cost. Then it when up to still a fair price at the current. The scare is over, and yes many people own PTR's now, but come on CTD. Your dirt is pricy."
3.0 5
"Fore grip and pistol grip were both in good shape but the butt stock was absolutely beat! All were olive drab so that that was nice, but I just cant get myself to let my rifle be seen with a beat up stock so I wont be using it. Still the fore grip and pistol grip were worth the $20."
4.0 5
"I picked up 2 of these for parts about a year ago, so I was a bit lucky back when they were still going for $10 a set. Yeah some of the stocks are a bit beat up, but they are still good and can be used if needed. My HK-91 came with a folding stock which was cool, but that thing can beat your shoulder up after a while, so I will switch to the full stock after about 60 rounds. No problem with fit. Of course these are real HK parts, and even though they are old they still have plenty of life left in them. Only gave 4 bullets because the price doubled in about a year. Shame on you CTD."
3.0 5
"Ok, well I got it and surprisingly it was in good condition. Didn't come with the hardware but I made it fit. I took the pins out of the guide rod and removed the plastic washer that I've heard needs to be filed down to fit the CETME bolt and used the steel sleeve from my CETME stock and swapped it to the new stock. Works fine and fits tight. No problems."
5.0 5
"I bought this set to replace my CETME's nasty furniture, a little bit of sanding on the recoil springs, plastic head, and it will fit just fine. My gun looks and feels a lot better than before! Buy the set it's real cheap."
1.0 5
"The entire Recoil Assembly is covered in Rust with pitting along the top and bottom sides. This will not clean up. I was expecting the Grade II wear on the plastic stock parts, but the Rust was an unpleasant surprise. :-("
5.0 5
"My stock set is in great condition. All 3 three pieces color matches perfect to each other. Recoil rod and spring in great shape. A great buy to improve my CETME."
4.0 5
"The stock and grip set were bought for a PTR, CTD actually sent me two sets, so bonus for me! I really only needed them to use the stock buffer as my model PTR only came with a rubber mushroom plug that wore out quickly and split the stock. I did check them for fit and the stock will work excellently, but the handgaurds will not work with weapons using 16\" barrels."
2.0 5
"I ordered the OD green set and I only recieved an OD green stock and grip but a tropical green forend. It looks like crap. I called and asked for an exchange for an olive forend and they told me it comes as is."
5.0 5
"All three pieces were in great shape. There were no scratches on the buttstock and pistol grip. Only minor scratches on the forearm. Date coded original G3 pieces. Awesome price."
4.0 5
"I've ordered several of these and they all fit well and were very useable and cheaper than anywhere else I've found. Although, the looks may or may not be so hot. Since I like my stuff to look new, I have painted them with great results with epoxy gunpaint called gunkote. I use the parkerizing color for metal parts and OD green on stock and forearms. If you follow directions carefully, it dries as hard as nails and can hardly be scratched."
4.0 5
"The stock set I ordered came within days of my purchase! The set was in A-1 condition and I was quite pleased with the value. The only modification I had to make was to grind down the OD of the spring plunger seal on the butt-stock a bit so that it fit in the gas tube. This seems to be a common problem when using these parts on the Century Arms rifles, but it is an easy fix. The butt stock also mated with my reciever better than the other stocks I have for this rifle. I also took the liberty of modifying the foregrip by drilling the recess moldings to make this grip ventilated like the wood ones are and it looks great and has better cooling properties! I've seen reviews stating the parts were in poor condition, but everything I have ever ordered was in great shape! Overall a great value!"

"WORTH THE $$"
5.0 5
"Perfect condition. The set I got looks unissued. CTD hooking it up again. Thanks!"
5.0 5
"I just installed it on my Cetme. I made the mod as stated below and now everything fits. It didn't take long to make the changes and it was really easy. Went out back and fired a few rounds. Still works great. Looks great also!"
4.0 5
"I also had the problem with the spring seal not fitting in my CETME. Instead of grinding it down (which could possibly eventually cause the spring to slip over it) I simply used a small punch and removed the old spring retainer from the original stock and swapped it with the new one. Also, set came with the tropical green forearm. If it wasn't for that, I would've given it 5 bullets. Over all in excellent condition."
1.0 5
"Forearm and stock are scratched and chipped, recoil assembley is bent. Pistol grip is beat up and wrong color,(black). Wouldn't even consider items grade 3, they said 2. Price is not that great either, but thought the extra cost might yield a better product. CTD's estimate on surplus item condition is a joke. Save your money for a company with some sort of quality control."
2.0 5
"Items in the H&K set arrived in nasty shape and are not in the condition advertised by CTD. Stuff is super beater surplus. I would have paid half $$$...maybe. Not that great!! Save your money and get the parts elsewhere."
5.0 5
"I was a little concerned when I ordered this set based off of the latest reviews. I am VERY glad I moved forward. The set is a perfect 3 way OD color match - They all are factory HK coded parts- The buttstock assembly appears to be new and unissued - Grip (OD)is clean and in good shape - forearm had a few scuffs, but they buffed out after a quick touch to a buffing wheel. Great deal on great surplus. My set easily qualifies as grade II and in reality could pass for grade I. Thanks CTD!"
4.0 5
"Typical to what others say, grind the plastic o-ring on the end. Even after grinding its still think enough to keep the spring from sliding off. Mine however I had to grind and bend/angle the stock a little to fit my Century CETME. Thanks CTD"
4.0 5
"I recieved mine yesterday. Everything was in great shape no major issues. For the price I don't mind doing a little extra work to make it fit, if needed. So far all the parts I have ordered from these guys have been awesome. Thanks again!"
4.0 5
"Just got it and it is going to take some REAL work to get it to fit, but most of it looked nice."
5.0 5
"Item arrived as advertised, grade 2....buttstock fit on my Cetme with moderate modifications...all matching color OD. Outstanding buy!"
5.0 5
"Got my OD stock set and couldn't be happier. Both my Stock and forearm matched perfectly. The pistol Grip was still sealed in the original Factory bag. At this price I'm going to order another set and spray paint a camouflage pattern on it for hunting hogs. Fit my PTR perfectly and mounted right up, no fuss no muss."

"Bought one set for my PTR91. The OD Green looks great. The stocks were in good condition. You could tell they had been used in the past, but the wear was light and hard to notice. The stock came intact with the receiver mounting plate, spring and rod which was great. The pistol grip won't fit a PTR91, but I knew that going in. These are great sets for a PTR if you want extra stock sets!"

"The stock and foregrip were both in rougher shape than I was hoping for. Oh well it's surplus and for the price there's no room for complaint. The pistol grip itself was black not olive so I was a little disappointed with that. The real kicker though was when I put the stock on my Cetme it was a pretty tight fight. I didn't think much of it and went to go test out the ammo I received and the bolt went half way back and locked up, wouldn't budge. So I went to take the stock off to get the bolt out and could barely get it off but when I did I compared to my original and at the very end of the spring the head was larger on the olive on I received. So I slapped my old one on and proceded to go test out my ammo."

"The stock set I received was in excellent condition. No visible wear marks; probably never installed. Heckuva deal."

"Just ordered a set for my HK91. Both the stock and forearm appear to be well used and in surplus condition. The grip was brand new and still in the original plastic wrap. You can't beat the price and, as always, very fast shipping."

"Great set. Fit my CETME perfectly, with no mods. Had a few scratches but it gives it a little character and a nice military look. Very happy with this"

"By looking at some reviews for the G3, I was a little worried and thought I might regret ordering mine. All worries are gone now though! I've finally seen the renowned shipping speed that I've read about in these reviews. My G3 came in two days and I ordered on a Sunday. It's awesome. Mine even came with a high quality leather sling. VERY MINOR surface rust that came off with a single swipe of a towel. 4 bullets, however, because packaging inside the box was crude/slapdash. All in all though, no regrets. Cheers!"

"Do not buy this for your CETME. The pistol grip and forend will work, but not the buttstock."

"These were in far better shape then the crappy black texture painted ones that originally came on my H&K clone & the Olive Green color looks way better ."

"I've ordered 4 or 5 of these now. Some have been more like Grade III, but most have been Grade II. Like some others have said, a few have come free with original G3 leather slings, and one came with a plastic G3 barrel cover which fits my PTR's flash hider perfectly. None have come with pins like CTD warns. For the price, these are a great value, and perfect for a paint job, or having several different stock sets for camo colors or spare parts."

"I purchased one stock set. No rust. Good overall condition, forearm was a bit scratched but in decent condition. Fits C91 rifle well. Colors don't match. Order 2-3 sets to get color you want. I got a tropical green buttstock and OD green pistol grip and forearm. So I'll have to order more to get the colors I want. NO pins included. Don't bank on it. You're lucky if you get bonuses like a sling or pins. So just keep that in mind. Would buy again."

"I got this set so I could replace the buffer and butt pad on my JLD 91. The stock was new and the grip and handguard were in great shape. It went right on."

"Grade two, only slightly marked up. Can't beat these for the value, especially if you are building custom stock sets. Just hope they can get black sets some time in the future. Those who remember when the slim line stock were $100 ('80s) really appreciate this deal."

"Buttstock looks new and unused. Grip and forearm were worse than Grade 2. Scratched doesn't even come close."

"Got my stock set in yesterday. I know some folks have complained that the color didn't match on their order, but all three pieces were a perfect match! All three pieces were in good condition as well. Makes my rifle look great. Ordered it Monday & got it Tuesday afternoon!"

"I purchased this set to replace the classic hardware on my PTR91. Great stuff excellent condition. Looks New!"

"I ordered two of these sets, one for a friend and one for me to to cannibalize the butt stock for the hardware. The butt stocks on both appear to be new, just some very light storage/shipping rash. The grip and forearm have some wear, but are perfectly servicable. $27 shipped for one of these new butts works for me. The grip and forearm are a bonus."

"For $20 no one can complain. The set came neatly wrapped in plastic, with a light coat of oil on it. All pieces match in color with each other. Looks good on my CETME. Would recommend."

"I bought this stock set for a cetme after researching a bit. It fits after a bit of sanding on the nylon ring at the end of the recoil spring. The forend fit with no modification but its a bit loose. I only bought it because the buttstock has a sling mount. They say you get what you pay for and for 20 bucks I am more than happy. The stock and hand guard match are obviously well used and have their battle scars to prove it. The pistol grip doesn't match and looks like it was stored in a bag of nails. If it had been the matching green color I would have given It 5 stars."

"I've learned from buying surplus that if you want one good one, you should order two. I did order two and out of the two sets I made one decent set. This set consisted of an Olive Drab pistol grip, an Olive drab butt stock with a Tropical green butt plate and a Tropical green fore grip. These were all in reasonably good shape (almost grade II) but unfortunately not the advertised color. The other set matches together well enough for old surplus stock but was chopped up pretty badly."

"I'd have to say for $20 you can't complain, shipped fast just a little over a week and was exactly what is pictured, my only faults is that nothing matches and the shape is pretty rough.. was not expecting perfect but what I got is $20 of surplus. Only suggestion is as I've read and did not follow which is to order two."
