The best ammunition available for your Enfield rifle; real military spec ammo that is loaded to the exact specifications and tolerances as required by the military.

We found the best deal available in this century; original military surplus ammunition from Greece that has been sitting in a bunker for years just waiting for us to find it! Founded in 1874, Pyrkal, known as "Greek Powder and Cartridge Company", is one of the oldest Defense Industries in Greece. As the main producer of ammunition and explosives in the country, they have been a crucial supplier during all the military conflicts, and historically a well established exporter to five continents.

This is true Military Spec MK7Z Spitzer .303 British! This ammo has a 174 grain Full Metal Jacket bullet, brass cased, boxer primed, non-corrosive, and is reloadable. The Greek HXP (HXP is the headstamp code for the Greek Powder and Cartridge Company of Athens) .303 British is one of the most sought after surplus ammunition still available. This is the ammo you need if you shoot a Lee-Enfield, Lee-Metford, or a Martini-Enfield rifle.

As with any surplus ammunition, each and every round should be carefully inspected before use and we recommend cleaning your weapon.

This super deal is very limited and when this ammunition is gone, there will be no more. Buy now and take advantage of this great deal on premium grade A ammunition.

"Ordered the 450 on clips. Nice and clean, no corrosion or staining. Wondered about the nine clips to a box, I had no problem putting in ten with room to spare."

"Clean ammo. Had 3x rusty clips overall, about 4-6 rounds that needed to get some clp to clean off some surface corrosion. Definitely impressed."

"Ammo as advertised, 1800 rds only 3 stripper clips had slight discoloration and corrosion which cleaned up in 10 minutes in wet tumbler, great shape on casings and projectiles."

"Ordered 450 on strippers, found a few strippers only loaded with 4 rounds. Over all the ammo and stripper clips are in great shape. Very clean no rust or corrosion. All rounds are stamped HXP 76. Annealed case neck. If it shoots as good as it looks I will be happy :) Great price, even if I was shorted a few rounds not worth sweating it. Strippers are marked Mk4 on them. Time to dust off the old Enfield."

"Ordered 2 boxes. All nice and clean on stripper clips. Have shot lots of HXP 30-06 over the years. Glad to be able to find it in .303."

"Ammo arrived in a short amount of time after ordering, the shipment was well packed. The brass was bright and shiny, all cases were annealed. The clips were all parkerized or blued, no rust or wear. All in all, I was very happy with my first purchase from Cheaper Than Dirt!"

"I found no corroded nor tarnished ammo in the one case I purchased. All had headstamp dates of 1976. Ammo arrived safely due to the double boxing it was shipped in"

"The ammo I received was in really good condition with very little discoloration and no corrosion. The clips were nice as well, showing no rust. The only reason I gave a 4 Bullet rating is because one clip had a .30-06 round loaded in it. Over all, I am very pleased with this ammo and will order again soon if it's still in stock."

"This .303 British ammunition is clean, bright and shiny, as when it was manufactured. It came loaded on 5 round stripper clips, which are in excellent condition with no rust or stains. All ammunition has a date code of 76."

"What can is say-Awesome deal/Ammo looked great! I sure hope it is as good as i have heard of this fine surplus. Only regret is I wish I could have ordered more than 900rds."

"Perfectly packaged; also no corrosion or other visible defects. Very happy so far."

"Ordered one case and after seeing it, ordered another. Both arrived quickly and safely. Checked each round by eye. Approx nine clips worth, out of each case, needed a little attention. Mild green/black tarnish and slight corrosion. Slight rust on clips holding those rounds. Rounds cleaned up easily with OO steel wool. Clips needed oily rag. All fine now. Not \"brand new\", but not supposed to be. Best 303 surplus in quite a while."

"Ammo and chargers looked great. Brass is boxer primed, so good for reloading."

"Really good ammo, mine was nice and shiny, clips were clean, no rust. Only thing keeping it from a perfect rating was some of the strippers had a spring tab broken off on one side."

"While this HXP 303 is a super deal, unfortunately it is not really MK7 ammo. It's a solid lead core bullet like the SA L1A1 and not a true MK7z bullet"

"This is the third case of .303 British Greek manufactured ammunition ordered. This ammunition was not as clean as the first two cases; the bullets are scratched and nine of the stripper clips were rusty. In addition, many of the cartridge cases are stained, tarnished and several have the green corrosion.Ammunition should be OK to shot once it is cleaned off and inspected."

"Bought me a case and that following weekend when it arrived took it out for some shooting, shot about 200 rounds through my rifle all loaded and ejected perfectly with no duds to be had. Overall the ammo was in great shape for being as old as it was no corroded brass and its shot very well. Definitely going to buy another case because you can't beat the price and its a blast to shoot."

"Shot 90 rounds. one group of 15 shots all in the 7-ring of a 16\" bull. 10 of those shots in the 9-ring. 100yards. No.4 MK1."

"Ordered three cases. All bright and clean. Looks like it made yesterday."

"This would have been a decent deal just for the chargers and brass alone, but I found the ammo to be reasonably clean and hold a tight group (about as good as my hand loads). I would buy more except I just don't get to shoot that much and still have some 1939 vintage UK surplus ammo left (corrosive, click-bang, dirty, ugh!). If budget were not an issue I would definitely buy as much as I could while it is available. I haven't inspected every box, but no corroded or damaged rounds found so far."
