GLOCK Serrated Clip Point Blade Knife -
This GLOCK Field Knife is an all purpose army knife. Used as a weapon and for opening bottles and ammunition boxes too, this GLOCK Field Knife is coated to prevent corrosion to give you the endurance and dependability you can rely on from GLOCK. With a quick draw in mind this GLOCK Field Knife comes with a matching sheath to give you one handed control at the time of draw.

GLOCK knives were developed in close cooperation with the special forces (Rangers) of the Austrian Army. To achieve best performance and function, no compromises were made in the design, which is getting more approval with every year of service.

GLOCK Field Knives are best known for their outstanding ruggedness which offers a large range of applications - starting from a "First Aid" knife inside the car to a bone crushing knife for hunters. The cross bar protects the hand against injuries and can be used as thumb rest and as bottle opener.

In addition to the above, GLOCK knives are stu rdy enough to break windows or ammunition boxes, requirements by Armed Forces among many others. Beside of the Austrian Army these multipurpose knives were adopted and are on duty today at various law enforcement agencies and famous special units all over the world.

Clip Blade -
The clip blade is a classic shape and very practical. Its name describes a shape that seems to have a portion of the spine of the blade clipped off. This brings the blade point lower for extra control and enhances the sharpness of the tip. It provides ample "belly" in the blade for slicing or skinning and a good tip for inserting in and under things that need to be cut. You will often find a false edge with the clip point.

Serrated Blade -
A serrated blade has a cutting edge that has many small points of contact with the material being cut. By having less contact area than a smooth blade, the applied force at each point of contact is relatively greater and the points of contact are at a sharper angle to the material being cut.

"I don't like Glock's pistols, but I love their knives. I own 2 of these, and they are very tough. The price is right, too. If you manage to break one of these, then you've accomplished something."

"I bought my Glock knife w/saw back (used to call it a root saw) many years ago when I first started carrying Glock handguns. This knife holds an edge very, very well. It is a solid knife with a thick tang and a handle that comfortably fills the hand. The price is excellent and you get much more knife than you pay for IMHO. I've recommended this knife to several people."

"This knife is very well made, holds an edge very well, and comes with a great sheath. The saw isn't that great. I found that it doesn't saw wood or bone very well. I've heard people refer to it as a \"root saw\" so, I'm guessing it's designed for softer materials."

"This is a very sturdy knife. The knife is well balanced and sits comfortably in my hand. The blade itself seems to be very strong. The polymer grip and sheath are also durable. I recommend this knife for survival and fighting to anybody."

"This is a fairly good knife. It's more rugged and unrefined -if you will- ... I have a variety of blades that I've tried to use for camping and hunting. As we all know, you eventually settle on the knives and other tools that you find you like (the A-HA experience). This knife is the one you won't mind using for all the \"dirty jobs\" that you might not want to use your knife that you cut your food with, etc... Overall, it's a thick blade, feels durable... I have to go back and see if it's a full tang blade, but its quite narrow. It's not a broad blade, and that has some advantages for certain camping tasks. Glock's pistols are \"no frills\", basic, well made, and very functional and reliable. Their knives are exactly the same. If you consider this one, consider the SOG Seal Pup, SOG Field Pup, or the KaBar BK7 as well."

"I have found that a LOT of people know of Glock pistols but few knew of this branch of their company. I got this, the model 81, for an extra concealed carry weapon. It hides well, but the owner must imagine his/her self in a lot of scenarios to find a good place to put it to be handy and easy to bring into play if needs be. Great little knife, sheath and blade for the unknown. Practice, practice, practice. CTD, you did your usual fine job on your end. Hooah."

"These are a great deal here as they're more at a gunshop nearby and they move them. These are rugged, they're a good field knife and they can withstand abuse. Like the pistols, these are simple, functional, pure utility items and as inexpensive respectively."

"Fantastic knife at an even more fantastic price. I have nothing bad to say about this knife. Perfect for BOB and survival applications. Couldn't be happier with CTD service and shipping speed I might add!"

"You simply can't get better than this, for the price. Very sturdy and well-built like anything else carrying the Glock name, and it's priced very well."
