Obtaining the greatest accuracy for target shooting was the main reason for the development of the GLOCK 24 which has an extended barrel, greater slide dimensions, and unmatched reliability in a .40 S&W pistol. This highly accurate pistol has found widespread use as a competitive pistol for USPSA, IDPA, IPSC, GSSF and other sport shooting organizations.

These pistols are almost identical to the standard Glock G17 and G22 except their barrels are 6.02" as opposed to 4.49" and their slides have been lengthened to match. They also have an extended magazine release, adjustable rear sight, and a "minus" connector for a lighter trigger pull.

The increased muzzle velocity and energy with the longer barrel also makes the Glock 24 a viable candidate to be used for hunting small to medium game such as feral hogs and whitetail deer.

"This handgun was my white elephant. I have searched for it for three years. I was shocked when I saw it in the ad. I ordered it on the 10th and it arrived at my ffl on the 15th. No problems, fast service, couldn't ask for better. Big thanks."

"After years of slumming it on various firearm auction websites in search of Glock 17L and 24 models I finally get one of the giants. CTD was amazing for making these available. Their price is really good when you consider used models are reaching $700 plus shipping. I ordered mine midnight Saturday and it arrived at my FFL Wednesday. Mind you Monday was Memorial holiday so that was very impressive. Changed my recoil spring and guide rod to a stainless and immediately grabbed a LoneWolf 40-9mm threaded conversion barrel. Ghost connector and Wolff springs with a full polish trigger job makes this longslide fly. It's getting stippled to match my Glock 34. My stock 41 is getting jealous. Hopefully CTD will get the 17L soon."
