"I have a JLD G3 so I wasn't sure it would work so I emailed and asked the Tech line. Aaron said it would fit without any trouble. He wasn't kidding. I ordered it and it arrived in four days and it didn't take me 15 minutes to put on. Man my rifle looks so cool and everyone asks about it at the range. I cannot wait to get more H&K parts to go with my Heckler and Koch sliding stock!"
"Arrived looking new, fit like a glove (nice and snug around receiver) with perfect pin alignment on my HK91 clone. It would have had to been custom fitted to fit and work any better!Best deal around!"
"Good fit a little tight but broke-in nice with a little oil The butt pad was not very straight and there are no H&K markings so you really don't know if it is really H&K. the finish was Parkerized not that black flat finish. But overall good buy"

"Fits super tight.Mine came in new conditon.Marked H&K.Stock needs to be oiled and worked several times to break in.Mine was hard to extend at first but broke in good.Sure makes my cetme look mean."
"Ordered this for my PTR-91. Fits great, functions great, and is an outstanding bargain. HK parts have never been cheap and the OEM telestocks usually go for alot(!!) more than this. If you have an original HK or a PTR HKlone youre g oing to really kick yourself for passing on this. Absolutely worth the money. I give it 4/5 because mine didnt have that pretty 'HK' stamp on it but you couldnt tell me theres any difference."

"My HK A3 collapsible stock arrived today and I was very pleased. Unissued condition with only minor storage wear. Nice tight fit on my PTR-91. Great value for the price."
"I'm glad I ordered mine when I did even though the price dropped $40 right after I got mine. Now it looks like they are on back order. Great looking and great condition. I only worry that the sliding part will mar the finish on my PTR -91. Anybody have any problems with that?"
"I've been wanting one of these for 20 years. This item fit my HK-91 perfectly, just like an original factory part. Additionally, I receieved my order in just two days!!Cheaper-Than-Dirt is the absolute best!!!"
– MAJ Mike
"I also have been looking for the A3 type stock for my HK91A2 for several years now, I have seen a few at gunshows but they have been in the $250 (for junk) to $400 ( like new) range. The stock that I recently recieved from CTD was in unissued condition and installed without any problems onto my HK91. CTD's condition statement was spot on in my case and I recieved it in just three days. I wouldn't wait on getting one of these its a good deal."

"I read the other reviews and thought, what the heck, I'll try one. If nothing else, I could send it back, right?Well, this little unit is mint and cost about half of what I have seen @ gun shows. ANOTHER GREAT DEAL FROM CTD!!!!"

"I also took a chance on ordering the collapsible stock for my Portuguese G3 and I must say it is in excellent, and apparently unused condition. There is even the HK factory serial number (which has been X'd out) on the underside of the stock base. CTD really delivered a fantastic product at a fantastic price."
"My stock came with a flat black finish and was stamped \"HK 2/66\" with the eagle logo. Condition is as described with minor storage wear in some spots. Function and fit was flawless on my original HK 91 purchased in 1981. Excellent deal overall, with good potential for price appreciation once all the military surplus supply is depleted."
"I recently bought a cetme and wanted to have it more compact for certain occasions. I bought this stock and with about 5 minutes and a dremel tool it fits and functions perfect. No one else comes close to this price, and the the stock I got was almost brand new. Thanks CTD!!"
"Fits perfect on my PTR91F. OK shape. This one was used for awhile. Perfectly broken in. The clamp lever and plate were packed old crusty grease. After a full stripping, cleaning and rebuild-- its perfect. I will be sending out for a full powdercoat soon to match the rifle.WORTH EVERY PENNY! 4 rounds 'cuz it's not new."
"The reviews helped me to decide to buy. Wanted one for my Cetme (cast receiver). The unit I received was deliiverd quickly and is like new. No H&K stamps, but that is fine with me as the qualty was still comparable. Plus, it isn't going on a G-G3. Just as others have pointed out, in the past in order to get one of these for an H&K, it would cost $300 to $400. So this is a great bargain!I will warn the cast receiver Cetme owners that two areas need to be altered/adressed. First, the plastic retaining washer for the main spring needs to be \"reduced\" in diameter to fit inside the bolt carrier corrosponding guide hole. No big deal, but if you alter and screw it up, it is yours! Plus, the reason several have commented on theirs fitting \"tight\" is due to the stainless cast receiver having a slightly thicker receiver dimension over the stamped receiver type. The \"tines\" of the retracble stock are very snug. Mine were SO snug that when I slapped the stock into the closed position, I could NOT get it openned again without taking it off the rifle. Appears some light and judiciuos filing/shaving/grinding will need to be performed on the times in several strategic locations. Again, once this is done, there is no returning your stock. But then again, if you do a great job, the value may go up as you have now created a stock that will ALSO work on the Century Cast receiver Cetme!I agree. snap one or even two of these up while you can. Who knows what the Shadow knows!?"
"i have a PTR-91 made by Federal Arms. it has a cast receiver with a built in weaver rail. it will fit on the rifle, but will not retract. so if you are ordering for one, check it first. other than that, the stock was in great shape. but i returned mine."
"This stock for CTD is a great price and was in perfect shape. It fit my SAR-8 great. My only complaint is that if you like to spend much time shooting with it, I quickly found that the bar in my cheek was far less comfortable than the standard stock I had. So while it is a cool stock it came off and the old one is back on to stay."
"The stock is in Perfect condition! Slid right on my HK 91. No regrets on this purchase."
– Gunny Razor
"I recieved my stock and it fits and functions great however it is a far cry from excellent... mine had only about 10% of the orignal finish so I will have to refinish it- even knowing this I would have bought it but it should NOT be described as excellent- so I'm knocking off a bullet."
"I ordered this stock for my CETME. It arrived and was about 99% finish with some cosmoline still on it. Slight modification to the recoil spring guide and it bolted right up on my CETME. That and the green plastic furniture from the G3 and she's a new weapon!"
"I bought one of these for my PTR-91. Mine appears to be new/unissued. Very minor storage wear, with a nice black parkerized finish. Seems hit or miss on the condition of these so I guess I lucked out. Mine does not have any markings, which would have been cool, but I am happy regardless. I will say that it is not the most ergonomic designed stock, but looks pretty mean affixed to the rifle. I would highly recommend this for yhe purists out there that want an original German collapsible stock for their rifle."
"Ordered this collapsible stock for a CAI C91 sporter. Stock appeared new. Functioned excellent. Recieved quickly. Overall an outstanding piece of kit, and great service ! Cheers to Cheaper Than Dirt !"
"great stock. great price. perfect fit onto mt century arms 91. mine has very minor storage wear, and has H&K markings. great buy."
"Fits good, paint's a little rough and h&k markings have been X'd out but the paint can be redone and the markings aren't that big of a deal and the rubber buttpad doesn't show any wear at all, if I had another H&K 91-A2 I wouldnt hesitate to buy another one."
– holeshot 308
"Cheaper than anywhere else around right now. Mine arrived in very good shape with almost no marks in the finish and the rubber looked new. Good stuff CTD"
"Just got mine in the mail. definately used but it was very clean. The old serial numbers were x'ed out. Worth the money. Sanded the bushing down a little to fit a CETME and it fits and works like new. Very happy with it."
"The stock was in fine shape when it arrived with only minor storage wear. I, like the other CETME owners, had to sand down the bushing on the guide rod. That took about a minute. The stock then slid right on. It locks up tight when the stock is out and there isn't a hint of a wobble when it is fully extended. The stock is a great deal for $160 and in this political climate it will probably add $300 to the value of your weapon. Great job CTD......"
– Duke Holliday
"Local gun shop asked 300 for same thing. Very happy that I was able to find one for half the price. Thanks CTD!!"
"My stock arrived today, fit and function are perfect. Finish is worn but not worn out. A good refinish is in order but all i all I am very happy with it, especially for the price."
"I just bought an early PTR91 and wanted to add a collapsable stock. Others have sold at $250.+ so I figured if it was so-so I could unload it at a swap meet with no loss.It arrived the other day and was an instant fit, no adjustment or fitting of any type needed. The stock extends and locks in place nicely and shows now play.Condition is minor wear only on a decent phosphate finish. I may try refinishing it in black to match my rifle but who knows. It fits and works great. That's what matters."
"Be careful what you ask for you just might get it. Yes, it looks cool. Yes, it makes the rifle mcuh easier to handle but there is a cost. With the size of the butt it feels like you firing 00 buck out of a 12 guage. The full stock is much either to take if you enjoy actually firing the rifle.Max"

"i just got mine in today, fit pretty good, although i had to use some elbow greese. It probably my rifle, but after installing it, I seem to be having trouble pulling the charging handle back. Any sugestions?......other than that good product"
"I would've thought this was un-issued except for some wear on the rubber recoil pad and a little on the sling loop from storage, I'm guessing."
"The stock i recieved had definately been used. The finish was worn in the usual military areas and along the rails. The functioning was perfect, however. It took the usual minor fitment to use it on the CETME, but that's easy enough. Sopmeone wrote about excessive felt recoil earlier. I had very little difference in percieved recoil between wooden, plastic and collapsible stocks. Not unpleasant to shoot at all using Yugo, Czech, FN, IMI and Lake City FMJ rounds and a few 168gr SMK's."
"Perfect fit and function on my CETME. This and the trirail owns ak's and ar's......"
"Fit great on my CETME G3 but is a kinda stiff moving, I guess in time that will git better. Why it doesn't get 4 or 5 stars is the extensive wear marks affecting the bluing. Only cosmetic but there is no doubt that it is used. Other than that it is great and a great price."
"The H&K stock I bought was in great condition. No signs of wear at all, seemed like it was brand new. Fit my Century C91 perfect with no modifications. The stock was stiff at first, but now its not a problem. Great stock, great price, great buy."
"Mine looks and feels brand new, fits better than my original full size synthetic stock. Well worth the money, I couldn't find a better price."
"I have made two fairly large orders. About a month, maybe two apart. The first batch was perfect, flawless (better than expected)The second batch was not \"very good\" or even \"good\" they were well worn in and loose. One was very loose. I'm kind of disappointed but then again what should I expect to pay for this price per unit?Just be aware not all are \"near mint\"."
"I have an HK-91 (not a clone). The price was great. I looked around for weeks and found few other places where you could buy one so cheap (CTD living up to their mane, of course). My stock was used; minor scratches and wear marks but otherwise in perfect working order. It pushed in and pinned on perfectly, as it should have. Even though it does have an internal buffer spring and post (similar to the one found on the standard stock), it\uFFFDs decreased but pad surface area will tenderize your shoulder. Unfortunately, my stock didn\uFFFDt have any HK marks on it, but this stock is definitely an HK contract part (I bet FMP), which functions all the same, but was the only reason I didn\uFFFDt give it five bullets. Overall it was a good buy and I recommend one to anyone who wants a cool looking stock and a bruised shoulder."
"As new, nice quality. Locks up solid. I remember when these were $400. Nice smooth welds. Smooth finish. Order one before there all gone."
– John N
"Better quality and condition than I would have expected. Looks \"like new\" with only minor finish wear from handling. Still had the rifle it came off of's QC checklist taped to it. Locks up well. Has been stored and handed around for a while. It will not likely be \"show quality\" but it was not damaged at all, not even so much as a single deep scratch. Plan on cleaning it well, oiling it, or possibly giving it a top coat of paint so the finish matches Your rifle. Great addition to any Cetme/HK/PTR collector. Consider that not all recoil springs and guide rods are set up the same. You may have to swap the collar on the end or spring for proper tension with Your rifle."

"Works perfectly for my Century Arms CETME sporter. Had to rubber mallet it on the first time, but otherwise its perfect."
– loving my german/spanish queen
"I normally don't get my hopes up on ANYTHING other than grade I, but THIS stock had nary a scratch on it and could have been put in a sealed pack, and I'd never know better. Thanks, CTD! I read up on how to use the ratchet ring on the end to wind up the release spring after install, which really helped!"
"I just received this stock this afternoon and was very happy with it. There were a few nicks, but all in all, a great stock! This fits perfectly on my HK91. For the $$, it can't be beat! Thanks CTD!"
– Geweher 43
"Ordered one of these for my PTR-91. Received the stock in typical fast CTD shipping time. Doesn't look like Grade 2 to me, looks more like Grade 1. I understand that everyone has differences in how used their stocks are, but mine could have passed for never issued, with just some minor storage wear. Installation took about 5 minutes, with no modification to the stock or rifle. Required some jiggling to get it to slide into place, but once it did, it locked up tightly and works great. Definitely a fun accessory for your PTR-91 rifle. Highly recommended!"
"Great stock. Mine was brand new and never issued. Still had packing grease and oil on it. Fit perfectly on my 1981 HK91. Only down side is that the rifle is now getting too heavy to carry. My stock would have to be rated grade I if anything."
"Just received mine. The stock looks brand new (pretty sure it was never issued), locks up tight, and is a perfect fit on my PTR91. Almost makes me want to run out and buy another gun, just so I have an excuse for getting another stock :) Shipping was FAST; less than 48 hrs from order placed to delivery."
"I ordered one of these on January 12. What I received was a brand new stock, in the original packaging, complete with original H&K paperwork. It was perfect, and had not a scratch. I was astounded. I know it's the luck of the draw, but I've been very pleased with CTD's H&K surplus. I received a few brand new aluminum mags for super cheap in the same new German condition in the past, while the others were totally serviceable. I've bought some surplus mags from another retailer and they need some work at the very least."
"Took a chance with this, glad I did. Looks brand new, finish is in excellent shape (looks like it's parkerized), stock locks up tight, and it's not as heavy as I was expecting it to be. I didn't see any reviews checking for compatibility with the PTR-32 rifles but I figured that it would work fine, and it does! Fits a bit tighter than the factory stock, oiled up the rails and extended them about halfway in order to fit them into the notches on the receiver first. Makes installation much easier. It's not nearly as comfortable, but I knew that would be the case. The shape of the stock pad makes it tricky to get a solid weld to the shoulder. Worth noting is that aftermarket recoil buffers do not seem as though they will work with this stock. Also of interest is that this stock only has two positions (closed and fully extended). Extended length is identical to the standard stock. Adds a nice HK touch to a rifle, and being able to shorten the overall length does have its perks!"
"Brand new with HK paperwork. Note: it was marked A4. Great for a compact rifle. On a 16\" bbl or a 51 type pistol (NFA/SBR), it would make a great gun to keep in a vehicle."
"The G3 retractable stock was substandard. It was very worn and would not properly function."
– 1st Sgt
"Ordered this because it was the best price I have found for this stock ANYWHERE. Delivery was TWO, yes TWO, days. Fit was perfect and it appeared to be in factory new condition. Stock fits perfect and locks solid. I could not be happier and highly recommend this as your best option if you want a retractable stock for your HK or clone. Great product at a great price. Nuff said."
"This is a really cool way to upgrade your Cetme or other G3 clone. It makes your rifle a paratrooper for less then $200!"
"Received my para stock today, and had a heck of a time getting it to work on my CETME. I was disappointed in the condition of the stock, it's definitely Grade II, if not a III, because all the paint is worn off the butt stock, and it looks very well used. The arms on the stock fit VERY tightly against the sides of my CETME, and it was VERY difficult to work the collapsing function. I put some Break Free along the indents on the receiver, and along the arms, in the hopes that the action will work smoother over time. It looks a lot cooler than the folding stock I had on there, but I think for practical purposes, the folding stock is better (more cheek weld, better recoil pad, easier to fold in and out)."
"I got mine and like others took two days and looked brand new.The only thing it is extremely tight. Very hard to retract. I'm hoping it loosens up after working it if not it will need some filing."
"This stock is absolute garbage. It's heavily worn. Theres almost no paint left. The buttpad looks terrible and heavily worn. The internal stock mechanism doesn't even work properly and when the stock falls out, the internals look terrible. If I was using CTD grade scale, this is more like a grade 10. This thing sucks. Not worth the money."
"I received mine a while ago. Best price I had seen so I took a chance. It is parkerised and looks new. It was also stamped HK 9/66. Fit like a dream on my SAR-8. Guess my luck of the draw was a good one."
