Rare Find!

Original French military tent with a cotton outer and rubberized bottom liner, yes this tent has a bottom unlike the US pup tents. The tri-zippered exits on both ends allow for dual access, includes poles, stakes and line for securing. Large 6'x5'x36" will easily accommodate two along with gear and it compactly packs down to 7x21". The top of the tent has an integral rainfly that is not removable. Appears in good condition with many more years of use.

All Military surplus products are used, the condition of the products varies, and the quantities may be limited. Unfortunately, we can not accept backorders or returns on any surplus products.

"The tent was in VG condition. Well made and a lot more roomier then a standard GI canvass pup tent that i used when I was in the corps.Good deal at a good price"

"Great tent for the money, mine came with a rainfly. Tents in great condition the leaves and sand on the inside is the only way I knew it was used. Perfect for me and the wife or me and my two kids (3yrs & 5yrs). As alway CTD came through with a quality product at a good price!"

"Just received this little tent and man do I like it very light around 8 pounds fits right on my pack easily. Takes about 5-10 mins to set up. Was in pretty good condition with only one little burn spot on it but nothing to bad. I was a little scared that at my size I would not fit. I am 6'5 330, but I fit in it just fine with room for a pillow with out having my feet pop out. LOL All in all, good tent"

"My tent came without enough to stakes to pin every loop down (missing 1 or 2) but, that wasn't a big deal as a trip to Wally World solved the issue. Rain cover and tent were in very good condition, Velco worked fine and the tie-downs were still functional. It will comfortably fit two adults in the type of camping one would expect to be doing with a tent like this. Overall, a great tent at a reasonable price."

"Tents are in great shape. Tent poles and stakes are in good used condition. I think it needs 12 stakes- it was short a few, but they are easy to replace. It didn't come with tie down cords so I made my own. Anyway, the kids love it and it is very high quality. I expect it to last for many years. Mine was made in 1987"

"My two tents came with missing pieces, but not a complete disaster, I can replace the missing items, at little cost. One tent bag was ripped completely in half. It had to have been shipped that way, because the rip did not look fresh. The overall condition of both tents were very used, and with many stains, and a few holes, but the kids didn't seem to mind. I expected better than what I got."

"Bought two of these tents and maybe purchasing a third. These tents are well made and very durable. There is ample room for two and gear. Only wish they had a screen on the doors. They do have a funky surplus smell to them so air them out before use. Personally, I like the funky smell. It's all part of the experience."

"This tent is quite a bargain! I was worried when I saw the manufacture date of '89 but was pleasantly surprised that the tent was in like new condition. It came in storage bags with a rain fly and inner cotton tent with a rubberized bottom and stakes. It was rainy when this tent arrived. So I set it up pretty easily and firmly secured the lines. It thunderstormed and rained like crazy without any leaks or sagging! No bug bites or anything. I recommend this to any outdoorsman"

"I purchased this tent on Friday and received it Monday. It helps that I live one city over from the warehouse. I also purchased the tropical version. I figured I would use the canvas one for winter and the nylon for summer. Mine did come with the removable nylon rain fly that will work with either tent or by itself as a minimalist shelter. Both tents came in perfect like new condition. The stakes are the only thing that show signs of use. I wonder what part of the world the dirt came from?? I was surprised how small and light it is packed down. I could easily strap it to my pack or throw it in the kayak. It is heavier than a modern backpacking tent, but not by much. The floor is rubberized, tent is canvas, and the fly is nylon. All the seams, grommets, and tie-outs are very heavy duty. This tent does lack a screen door, but that's why I bought the tropical tent. I now have a system for all seasons and occasions. I will be camping in it this weekend."
