From the barracks in Germany, we have found some original sewing kits issued to the troops to perform field repairs on their uniforms. Original, kits in Grade I condition contain needles, thread, buttons, pins, needle threader, scissors, and thimble neatly packed in a cotton case. As these are original military, the contents may vary slightly; they are great at home, in the car, desk, backpack, or your emergency kit. Package of four.

All Military surplus products are used, the condition of the products varies, and the quantities may be limited.
Unfortunately, we can not accept backorders or returns on any surplus products.
. Surplus condition scale: Grade I - Used in like new to excellent condition.
Grade II - Used in good condition, may show minor use.
Grade III - Used in fair condition, will show normal wear and tear from daily use.

"I bought these as a gift for a few ladies in my life, including my fashion designer wife. She liked it, and commented that the threads and needles were of very high quality. She would have liked a seam ripper to be included, but felt that the scissors made up for it. She thought the pouch was very nifty. I liked the safety pins since they are the only part of the kit I know how to use. The only downside is that they are only sold in sets of four. I really only wanted one for my wife, and maybe another for me. I had to come up with excuses to give away the other two. Had I the choice I would have gotten fewer even if I paid a higher unit cost. Still, 5 bucks each is a good deal, and if selling in 4s is what CTD has to do to carry them then so be it. Well worth the money, as an unusual gift and valuable addition to a backpackers load. As soon as I get my wife to teach me to sew (a great skill), I'll carry one on overnights."

"Great sewing kit. I bought it to go in camping packs and emergency preparedness packs. It was just the quality that I thought it was with heavy enough needles and thread to make repairs on heavy backpacks or clothing. The best part is the price includes four different kits. If you are a outdoorsman or in the military this would be a great kit to have in your pack."

"As the other reviews say, excellent addition to any outdoorsman/backpacker/military fellow's gear. Absolutely satisfied."

"This kit is far and away better than the dinky little travel kits you find in the stores. The scissors alone are better than anything I have ever found in such a kit. These come with enough heavy-duty thread to use for emergency cordage. This is a great sewing kit for the money."

"I bought this to take with me on back packing and hunting trips, and it will work perfectly. It arrived exactly as described, and very fast. I had no problem figuring out what to do with the other three, because every one I showed it to, wanted one. Another great product from CTD. Thanks."

"4 kits may seem like a lot, but it's not. One in my car, wife's car, her work, and my bail out bag. Great kit, heavy needles, and a thimble that actually fits my bear (not bare) hands!"

"I got one of these years ago as a free bonus with an order, and last year I bought the 4 pack. They are good little kits, everything in them is high quality, including the scissors. As someone else said, 4 may seem like alot, but if you toss one in the car, one in a suitcase etc, they go quiick. For $5 a piece, they are a great value..."

"Thanx CTD for fast delivery again. I just got a set of these kits, looks like they've never been used [scissors hermetically sealed in all 4]. Nice tight, sharp scissors, my wife likes the needles, strong threads + a big thimble, and these are handy to have around."
