"This Fobus ankle rig is a nice holster in function. Holds your weapon securely and the velcro ankle strap stays where you put it. Holster construction is plastic/polymer and is unlined, so you will get some wear on your weapon, especially if you do a lot of moving around. My only gripe is the lack of a liner and the price; you're paying $35+ for a piece of molded plastic and some velcro.....this holster can't cost much to produce, and CTD has it priced less than most gun shops. Al that said, it does work well and your weapon draws quickly if needed."

"I bought one of these after recently getting a S&W J Frame. I have previously owned several ankle holsters from Galco, Bionchi and others. My Galco is more comfortable with low top shoes but when wearing high top boots (like the ones I wear on duty) it is simply too thick to be covered by my pants and is a pain to draw. This holster is thin and the padding is placed well for tall boots. If you are going to wear low tops might want to look around a bit. However for what I needed it for this is perfect. I was a little concerned about the lack of a thumb break but after running around the house like an idiot with my boots on the pistol stayed where it was supposed to be and still draws smoothly. If you want a good holster and don't want to spend the 70 dollars in a Galco, this is the one for you. Thanks to Cheaper Than Dirt for a good product and excellent customer service."

"It doesn't work well for me. It moves if I don't tighten it down and it cuts off the blood when I tighten it. It's also bulky, so not really a CCW unless you wear really loose boot cut pants."
