Lake City 5.56 Ammo is arguably the best 5.56 Military ammo manufactured. This 5.56x45mm XM855 62 Grain SS109 Green Tipped Steel Penetrator Lead Core Mil-Spec ammunition is bulk packed loose 1,000 rounds in a box. This ammunition is boxer primed, sealed primer and projectile, reloadable brass cased, and not packed in individual boxes. "This is the real deal. Like any 5.56 NATO this should only be used in rifles with a 5.56x45mm chamber to prevent overpressure. Get it while you can, change is coming!"

"I have several cases of this stuff for the day when it all goes down. This is the best ammo for an AR-15 or anything that wil handle the 5.56mm NATO round. Buy all of this you can while it is available."

"Just bought 1k rounds of this. Its not often we are able to buy actual military ammo, so jump on it while you can. Looking forward to seeing the real penetration of this vs a wild hog."

"This is everything they say it is. It isn't pretty, but why pay $200 extra for nifty little boxes? Every few hand fulls I find a slightly dinged one but still ok to use. And seriously... is there anything better than getting 28.5 pounds of ammo left on your front porch by UPS?"

"This is great stuff. for those weary of shooting steel with this stuff, it will completely penetrate 3/8in standard steel. it will not go through 1/2in ,it will leave a big dimple on the other side. repeated fire in the same local will go through though. no problems feeding, great ammo.BTW will not penetrate 1/4in armor plate."

"I bought 1k rounds of this a few months ago and have had some time to test it out now. Its super accurate, and exactly what the title says, it WILL penetrate some heavy duty stuff. Straight through large tree trunks and it will shred a good size granite rock (was bored at the river with nothing better to do). As for using it for pig hunting, it blows a straight line through a boars skull and the thick shoulder bones dont slow it down. Overall its WONDERFUL ammo and for a better price than anything store bought."

"I have gotten several cases of this, it is extremely accurate and definately a hot load. NATO headstamps & Milspec all the way. A few rounds were dented, but thats the way the cartridge rolls when bulk packed."

"No problems overall with these rounds, I have a Remington R-15 that I go hunting with and was able to take down a 8 point stag with this ammunition at 75 yards, still no problems overall with my Bushmaster M4A3 also, thisis great quality ammo, wont be buying anymore in a while lol espescialy with that many rounds."

"What a country! Like the comment said, where else can you get FedEx to leave a 1000 rnds on your front porch. I finally bought some after the the local PD hassled the gun show outta business. IN AUSTIN TEXAS TOO!!!Got it winthin 24 hours!! God Bless America! Austin PD rcently busted a jackass for threthening kids (who were ringing his doorbell and running) with an AR (a very stupid move I might add) but later news announced he was in poessession of "illegal ammo", armor piercing ammo. Is this stuff legal > In certain states > Is there a difference in what is called a penetrator and say and armor piercing bulet?Sighned, Duh"

"I have spent many years on the range as a weapons instructor, training young Marines, DEA, FBI, and Marine officers. I have put many rounds down range, some in paper targets, some targets not paper. This is good ammo. This is not varmit ammo, not made for that. Works great on light skined vehicles, such as your brother-n-laws F150. Made for human consumption, this is not considered armor peicing ammo. Warning, keep away from children. Semper fi Devil Dogs,"

"Very satisfied with this ammo. I have been shooting a lot of PMC Bronze 55gr rounds through my SIG556. With the 1x7 twist, I got better performance and accuracy with the Lake City 62gr loads. Definitely will purchase again."

"Great Ammo. I shot about 250 rounds as soon as I got my order. Not a single misfire. Every round has a little bit of green paint on the tip and the brass is discolored, if that matters to anyone."

"I got a 1000 rounds of this after purchasing a couple of 20 round boxes to test out. Awesome is all I can say. These smoked through my Double Star AR-15 like nothing else. And they were clean burning too. They do pack a punch and at 75 yards, they cut through a 3/8 inch bar like butter. Thanks CTD for great delivery, and for handling such a fine product!"

"Got this ammo the other day, and I must say that I am impressed with the quality. All the rounds were 08 LC and in great shape. Only a few rounds had dents but they were very minor at that. The only complaint I have, is that I only got 948 rounds. I also bought a 100 pack of striper clips and only got 98 of them. I called customer service and was told that they can't ship me the 52 rounds and 2 stripper clips that they owe me. Instead they said they would refund the difference to my credit card. I guess thats fair but I'd rather have the rounds."

"I have shot these rounds before and they are nice round. I am sure they would kill fairly large pigs with no problems. In fact I wouldn't doubt that you could shoot one hiding behind a good size tree! I have shot them through my Mini 14. It is marked for .223 and 5.56. I had no problem shooting this round. Not happy to hear that I could be up to about 50 rounds short."

"I ordered these Sunday night and got them on Thursday. LC was short only 6 rounds, which isn't bad. I did get 3 orange tip tracer rounds mixed in though, so, bonus? Out of the 994 rounds shipped (including the orange tips), 14 of them were damaged. I would buy them again. I already know from previous experience that they shoot well, depending on barrel length and twist. If you're questioning the legality of these rounds, federal law explicitly excludes M855 from the definition of armor piercing (U.S.C 18 Chapter 44). However, you should look at your state law, as they may prohibit ammunition with a steel tip."
– Travis

"Seems to shoot well, but similar to other complaints, I was 42 rounds short of 1,000 with another 8 or so damaged to the point that I would not use them. Others had minor damage, but I believe will still be usable."

"Just got back from the range. The ammo proved itself. I'm going to order more. Like other reviews the order was 8 short. I put 10 rounds on a scale, (then X 100) the weight was exacxtly what the 1K rnds plus the box weighs. Oh well. It's still a good deal."

"I have shot 900 rounds so far between my Galil and Noveske AR. I really felt the difference in recoil when switching to a non-AR rifle. It is hot compared to my name brand ammo and really hot compared to my cheapy Brown Bear and Ulyanovsk plinker ammo. I didn't have a single issue with bent or damaged casings like other reviews. I was worried when I ordered it. I am ordering more and stockpiling it for when SHTF or a zombie apocalypse type situation, LOL. Good price for what you get."

"I bought this ammo based on price and reviews. I'm glad I did. It shoots satisfactory in my Sig Sauer 556. No issues after 200 rounds. At 100 yards I was hitting 3X3 targets in the standing position. Maybe it was the combination; ammo, Eotech, and Sig.Definitely ammo worthy of stocking up @ 37 cents a round delivered to your door!"

"I just got my 1,000 rounds. I haven't had a chance to shoot it yet, but I don't need to, LC makes fine product and have shot lots of it, so I can trust this to go to the emergency/zombie/armageddon stash with no worries. The only problem is I was 20 rounds short of 1,000. I had read other reviews about damaged and short product and have had defective ammo in other bulk purchases, so I decided to sort it and count it. No damaged rounds, they are all clean enough, but I'm 20 rounds short. Im kind of disappointed, I expected better from LC."

"This is the first time I purchased this ammo in bulk. After noticing on a few of the comments the buyers were shorted, I decided to count the rounds, we always count the bulk anyway. My son and I counted them twice, both times we were short 4 rounds. That's not bad, however, I purchase bulk ammo all the time and have never been short, most bulk packages are 2 to 8 rounds over. Shame on Lake City for not being more accurate with their count. Otherwise, the ammo shoots beautifully... Clean Ammo..."

"I recently received 2 more 1,000 rnd. cases of the Lake City M855 ammo. I was 9 short out of the 2 cases. Better than the 6, out of 1 case, but like "Geoff", other bulk I have bought has had a few over the count. The ammo was all good, no bad ones, I could find. I ordered 2, 100 cnt. stripper clip packs. I didn't count them, as I had some extra, already. After cleaning them all, I only had 4 that were missing tabs and one of the 4 was very rusty. Still a great deal. I bought 3, 20 round boxes of the LC M855 ammo, expecting the bulk to be short. They were all in great shape and I only needed the 9 to replace the shortage. I am very happy with the entire purchase. I will buy more, later, when I recover from Christmas expenses. Thanks CDT."

"Simply amazing for the money. I use it in my Sig556 and it shoots like a champ. I haven't had a chance to do some serious target practice but @ 100 yards I was hitting inner circle with only a previous bore sighting, and using a 1x red dot sight. The casings are clean and solid, minus a few dimples every couple rounds but that doesn't affect performance, just how they look (but this is expected in a loose pack) ill buy it again and again and again!"

"Received two business days after ordering. I was short 3 rounds. Shot some today and am very happy. As others have mentioned there are some with the occasional ding but nothing major. Mine was manufactured in 09, I showed the wife my new rifle and told her how much I paid for 1000 rounds and she told me to buy another box! Cant argue with that."

"I would say that I was only 2 rounds shy. Yeah just had to count. Twice, none the less. LOL Reading the other reviews either I got lucky or the company has adjusted the scales. I think it's the latter. So I'll give the company an ataboy. The ammo looks fine, very and I do mean very slight dings at times. I have no issues with putting rounds down range with this ammo in my new weapon. Dirty ? Not really. Considering the process in making the ammo (there is lube involved) in production. I get more residue from one patch thru a pistol. Besides that if I was picky I would use brasso and have it shine and put it on my fire place mantle and never go out shooting. Yeah, like thats going to happen."

"This ammo is the good stuff. Its best used in a 1/7 - 1/9 twist barrel. The marines uses a 1/7 twist 20" barrel and it makes all the difference in terms of accuracy. I can touch my shots out to 200 yards. At 200 its much harder but thats on me not the ammo.Mine came with the full 1000 rounds, but 21 of them had cracked case necks. Some of them I think are safe to shoot but others are long cracks that are probably hazardous.Overall a good round and decent deal. -1 bullet for so many cracked cases, but I cant be too mad. I expected some defective rounds. This is bulk ammo for a reason. Mine were stamped LC 09."

"About the best you can say is that this ammo Feeds and Goes Bang! At 35 yards it may shoot an 8" group; or a 3" group with a flyer or two. It wanders all over the place. Very inconsistent ammo. Good for hitting a car at 100 yards. Or CQB practice"

"Sorry for the lack of useful info; my first more extensive review didn't meet Guidelines. This ammo was shooting erratically, between 3" and 8" groups, at 35 yds. From a Kel-Tec 16" 5.56 1:9; so, generally considered the "right barrel" and chamber. Bench rest. The BVAC .223 V-Max 55 grn sold by C-T-D was doing 1/2" groups (I didn't say I was a Good Shot)"

"I had to count because I split this with my boss. I was only 7 rounds short, so I'm not going to complain. I fired over 100 rounds in a couple minutes with my Bushmaster (which has been somewhat picky about ammo), no problems whatsoever. I have no scope on my rifle at the moment, so I cannot rate accuracy of this. I was hitting a 2'' target at 50 yards consistently. I would buy again, but I would rather buy another gun with the 350 bucks."

"I decided I better stock up on another 1,000 rounds before the New Year! I loaded them onto stripper clips as I removed them from the shipping box, a much easier way to count the Brass. The first batch I received (last month) was exactly 1000 rounds. This time I was four rounds shy."

"With some trepidation based on previous reviews I opted for the volume vs. alleged quality of higher priced items.I ordered this late Monday evening 20th Dec., arrived here 1,300 miles, at 1300hours today, Christmas eve 24th Dec. It doesnt get much better.Fearing the worst I decided to count. Being more modern I weighed one, then ten, then 100 and came up with an average weight per round. Weighing them 100 at a time in plastic battle packs they came out exactly to 1,000. (Weight is the same as they are packed anyhow). PS, I am delighted"

"I had two rounds extra. I'v only shot about 150 rounds off so far. I can't say it did any better or worse than the two brands of 55 grain .223 I had on hand that day. A little dirty out of the box but no jams or cracked cases. I plan on buying more."

"All you whiners out there cry about dents and cases that don't shine, well I'll tell you what, I've shot close to 8000 rounds through my Bushmaster target model with a Miculek muzzle brake and I have never had a jam or FTF. Plus, I can confidently shoot the complete bullseye out of a target every time with 1 magazine. This is the best and most reliable ammo for the money. Thank you, CTD!"

"I received 997 rounds in my "1000 rounds loose".All ammo is headstamped Lake City 2007 or 2008. This is the same ammo that we train and qualify with in the Marine Corp. There are some minor dings, but this will not affect cycling. Also most of the cases have tarnishing, but that doesn't change the ammo at all. All newly made brass is more easily tarnished than the older military stuff."

"It is good ammo overall. Reasonably accurate and completely reliable. A little dirty for a BVAC product (more metal flakes noticed when cleaning than any other round). I didn't count the rounds like so many bored people before me, if you have to count then you don't have enough ammunition."

"I have bought tens of thousands of rounds of 5.56 in my lifetime, including tons from lake city and this is by far the worst brass i have ever seen, at least 60% had dented brass, I have seen people comment on "a few dings" this case is at least 30% unusable, these are not dings they are large dents and i will not even chamber these rounds, been a fan of lake city for years, dont have a clue what happened with this case, all i can say is that demand must be up and quality is way down."

"To all the people talking smack about this ammo, do your research. This is the Ammo that is UNSAT for the military. This is the 3rd grade ammo. 1st grade goes to the battle field. The ones that don't make that cut get used for training the military, and 3rd grade is the ones that don't make it either or. witch is left and sold to us at CTD. do your research before you knock it. So shut up you're still able to buy the best 5.56 ammo out there. if you don't like it don't buy it."

"DO NOT PURCHASE Military Lake City Ammo. I am rating 1 bullet, because there is no zero bullet rating. I purchased 1000 rounds of this ammo. The very first magazine, I had two failure to fires. I thought my gun (LWRC AR-15) was broke. I continued shooting about 150 rounds, and had about 25 failure to fires. On the dud rounds, the primers were punched, so I suspect they are bad primers. They do not look like the primers are pushed in too much. In a rifle class the next weekend, I went ahead and ran about 300 rounds from *Federal* Ammo with NO failures. Cheaper than Dirt does not offer warranty on ammo, so I'll update you after I talk to Military Lake City about replacing these."

"This is an update to my review dated May 23, 2011. First let me say Cheaper than Dirt support rocks. The Cheaper than Dirt support team got me in touch with two manufacturer and distributor reps on the topic of my ammo "failures." Both the manufacturer and distributor share this is the same ammo which goes out to our soldiers in the field by the millions. The is ammo is tested regularly in commercially available weapons. The ammo is build to work in guns under the rigors of automatic fire, (primer depth and toughness). My gun (LWRC) may not have the right hammer spring strength, or firing pin depth. While Cheaper than Dirt cannot offer warranties on ammo, the manufacturer vendor did offer any resolution to my satisfaction. Good people. Bottom line, my failure to fires, is my gun's issue."

"I am almost done with all 1,000 rounds of this ammo in my brand new LMT CQB MRP Piston 16 rifle and have not experienced any issues or problems with it. Cosmetically this ammo is banged up on the neck with visible dents, also the neck itself and the top of the case is discolored darker due to a heat treatment most likely. The case-over-all-length (COAL) of the bullet and the seating is very variable between bullets by as much as 2 mm sometimes showing the cannelure on the bullet and sometimes not.I could only get acceptable 3-MOA+ accuracy from this bullet during casual bench fire at 100-yards with wind gusts and I believe it might be possible to do a little better.Overall it is a decent bullet, not great, not terrible."

"I ran 3 mags. of 30 rnds.each of this LC M855/SS109 through my ProChrono chronometer, using my 16in. FN M4gery, 16in. Olympic Arms M4gery, and my AR-180. All weapons have a 1 in 9 twist. Generally they are pushing a HI of 3000fps, a LOW of 2880fps, with an avg. of 2950fps. This reflects almost the identical ballistic readings I got while doing a velocity checks using LC M855/SS109 mixed lots and three separate US issue M-4s while stationed at FT Hood, TX, in 2002-03. All rounds functioned as flawlessly as the rounds I have used in Iraq, Afghanistan and countless other AOs and ranges since 1985 when I first joined the Infanrty. TM 9-1005-319-10,August 1986 with changes gives a average velocity for the issue M-4/M-4A1 of 2970fps and that is using a 1 in 7 twist 14in. issue barrel. In firing full length M-16A2 and its AR clones (with a 1 in 9 twist) it is reasonalbe to expect an avg.V of approximately 3100fps as given in the TM. To the nay sayers who say these are rounds that don't make the muster and are sold as "fluffers" to the public, my data doesn't support that statement. These rounds might be old stockage from AHAs and Depots in CONUS (definitely NOT from OCONUS, we don't send ammo back from the war zones), as well as return supply from posts/bases here in the states in order to refresh lots and turn over older rounds during 5,10, & 15 year stock rotation cycles. This would account for some rounds looking "scruffy" in that they just might be range "loose" returns. It doesn't matter to me one bit, they are the real deal and perform extremely well."

"I'm an older Marine Rifleman, I purchased this ammo about a year ago. Have fired about half the box. Not a single failure to feed or fire. All rounds are in excellent condition, not one dented round. Very accurate in my Colt H-Bar. I recommend this ammo to anyone. Took a 6 pt Buck with it at 120 yards last fall, it dropped like a ton of bricks. Brass is easy to prep for re-loading as well."

"I just received my second order of these M855s. This time I bought two boxes because we go through them pretty quick at the range. I am running them through a SIG 556 DMR ( 20" cold hammer forged barrel with 1 in 10 twist ). They are flawless through the first thousand rounds without a single failure to fire or feed. 100 Yard grouping is right at 1 MOA. Most of the rounds in my first box were bright and shiny. As always, CTD delivery expediency and service is outstanding."

"Bought 1000 rounds a few weeks back. These are top of the line military ammo. No trouble with feeding, etc. You might have some problems getting to shoot these at an indoor range because they DESTROY standard bullet traps!! DON'T buy "Penetrator" ammo if you plan to shoot at indoor ranges!"

"I was concerned to place an order after reading all the "reviews". Some said "dirty" and "bent casings". My order arrived in 4 days, BRIGHT, PERFECT CASINGS, and had LC 09 head stamps. The ammo appeared to be perfect... so I pulled my engineers Mitutoyo 8x loop. I studied a hundred or so bullets, (No I didn't count them!!! Good Grief!!!) ALL were in like new. NO dents, scuffs, or dust! I am VERY, VERY HAPPY with this SS109 ammo. I will purchase another two boxes. It's a very good deal!!!"

"I purchased 2000 rounds (two boxes of a 1000). Amazing bang for your buck. Of course, like always speedy delivery. Took a box out to the range with my Cousin and I and we shot a whole box. Only had a few jams, but most likely caused by my Ruger SR556FB and adjusting my gas regulator. Gave it a 4/5 only because the green paint on the tips rubbed off most of the rounds, so had a lot of little green flakes inside the chamber and on the bolt. Nothing a little CPL could not handle. Plan on buying much much more rounds."

"...good enough for me. Bought a box to break in/plink with a Sig 556 DMR. After sighting in w/ a Loopy MkIV, the weapon shot 1MOA @ 100y three rounds with two holes. There's no reasonable expectation for this ammo to be this good (and I've no doubts it is not consistently this good, esp at range) but I'm very happy.Would buy a few more boxes but the wife would use them on me!"

"I am one of those losers with no life that actually counted every single round and they shorted me 6 rounds. Not a big deal but reading other reviews of bulk ammo it looks like CTD does this regularly. It's one thing if they short one box and overfill another but it's not classy to short every single box."

"This is some nice ammo. My DPMS AR-15 is super picky and short-strokes on just about everything I feed it. However, this stuff makes it get off its lazy ass and work! I fired 200 rounds without a single problem. It's nice and loud and packs a wallop. Accuracy is just fine, my shaky hands are the only limiting factor. Will be getting more of this for my zombie survival stash."

"This ammo is great for its price. Especially on Promo's.The shells very rarely have defective primers and/or casing damage. I'm talking 1 for every 300 rounds. For those of you complaining you were short a few rounds they don't count each round, it is measured by weight. Meaning a few rounds can easily be missed due to over-loads."

"I just bought this and received it in like 2 or 3 days. All of the ammo looks great and feeds great. I shot maybe 100 rounds through my new Windman Weaponry Ar-15 and not one problem. My first attempt at sighting it in at 300 meters gave me a 4 inch diameter group with 5 rounds in it laying in the prone position with a 16 inch barrel. I highly recommend this for a semiauto carbine for sure. I couldn't believe how far away 300 meters is, I could barely see the 8 inch dia black target."

I decided to count mine as many others have and found that i was THREE rounds short but figured that was ok, if it had been more than 5 i would have been a little upset. "Ordered this ammo on 12/28/2011 and received it on 12/29/2011. Fantastic delivery. It does help that I live in Texas which is where the warehouse was located. The ammo was what I expected as far as quality. I like that the rounds have 2011 headstamp. I did have similar issues as others have regarding the number of rounds in the box. Yes I did count the ammo. I ended up be 29 rounds short. If I had been 5-8 rounds short, I would not have worried about it. I called customer service to see what could be done. Had a little run around with the rep, but eventually he came back and I was reimbursed for the missing rounds. Needless to say CTD more than satisfied me. Maybe 50 rounds had small dings in them that I would still fire with no real concern of a jam, but I found 13 rounds which I would never put in my rifle because of how bad they were. Some of the casings were so bad that u could actually see the bullet was crooked because the brass was so dented. Even so with 13 bad out of 1000 I'll be buying more when I get the money but u better believe I'll be checking every one b4 storing it away! Thanx again CTD"

"Haven't shot any yet and DID get 19 extra rounds. However, the brass is not clean and has a residue of what I assume to be some sort of lube all over it. I had to wipe off several large globs before loading into my mags. Also, there are some minor dents here and there, but no show stoppers. While I don't anticipate any problems, the grime might necessitate a little extra time and attention to the chamber after a range session. I recently bought 840 rounds of this in the cans and on stripper clips. I'd stick with that, as it's pretty much the same price, too."

"Ordered my second batch of ammo on Monday. Got it Tuesday. Once again, excellent service and turn around time by CTD. I haven't had the opportunity to go shoot any of this yet. Ended up short again with this order. 994. I can live with that. Considering how they took care of me last time, I am not going to ask for anything. Brass is a little dirty, but the projectiles look very clean and very little of the green tip has come off. Very pleased with the purchase. "Got shorted a few rounds and kind of expected that after reading previous reviews, so no biggie.I did go through every round, rolling them on my glass coffee table, to check bullet alignment. I had a good bit of them that had some light wobble and a handful that were pretty bad. "I got some Brown Bear ammo which was a terrible mistake: I was having bullets that tumbled and went into the target sideways. But this ammo is the best: I can shoot a 4MOA group with my AR15 no problem. It's more expensive than some .223 but it is worth it."

"I built an AR with the M&A varmint kit, match trigger, and a nice scope. While trying to sight the scope in (granted, at 100 yds), the shots were all over the map. I would consistently shoot groups 6" across (6 MOA). We tried everything, tweaking the scope mount, using Loctite on the screws. I thought for sure my gun was crap.I finally got some cheap TulAmmo and was hitting groups of 1 MOA immediately. After hand-loading the brass from this 5.56 bulk, I am now hitting sub MOA with ease. Not good long-range ammo, but the best brass quality around."

"Bought 1,000 rounds. Went out with friends and a spotting scope and I was pleasantly surprised. ArmaLite stock heavy floated barrel AR-15, EOTech 512 with 3X magnifier. "If you expect to have a confrontation with an enemy force that may take cover behind brick walls, vehicles, etc. then that's what I'd think this ammo is built for. In my testing, this ammo will penetrate over 1/4" steel at 200m+, car engines, and brick walls. I can't say with any confidence/good conscious standard 5.56mm ammo is any good for the above purposes. In fact, I'd say it's just worthless. I wouldn't want to put my life on anything less than the M855, as I'm former military (infantry), so believe me that I'm giving sound advice.I'd like to deny that this ammo is any good and just horde it for myself, but people are buying it up at any cost because they know it's the best, even if it's XM855 (rejected for military/battlefield use - designated training only/dump on the civilian market). If you're just looking for some rounds for target practice or against a single home invader, please don't buy this ammo and let others have the opportunity to buy it who have more serious purposes in mind, such as SHTF scenarios. Also, always sight your weapon in with the ammo you primarily intend to use, or else accuracy will suffer in unpredictable ways. Also, the M855 round is designed to be used with the M856 when needed for tracing a path to the target at night, whether it be personal, vehicles, or aircraft."

As I watched tv I put all rounds in stripper clips to both count and inspect them. I has 3 rounds over, which was a small victory as some have been slighted. "This stuff won't win any beauty contests. It's a little dirty looking and some of the casings were slightly dented, but that's kinda what to expect with loose bulk packed ammo. The box I received was seemed to contain all LC 14 headstamps, so this year's manufacture. Counted it up (just because I like to store it in 420 round amounts) and was 3 over. Took the remaining 163 rounds, including the worst looking of the lot to the range to see how it performed.Someone told me that this ammo is what has been rejected by the factory and/or military and is not deemed even suitable for training purposes. If that's the case, then the grade one stuff must be better than match grade. Ran it through my Colt (HBAR 20", 1/9 twist, Nikon P223 scope) and had zero issues with it whatsoever. No jams, no FT feed/fire, and was consistently coming up with less than 2" groups at 100 and 200 yards, and only 3 flyers out of 150 rounds sent down range. The remaining 13 rounds made some nice holes in an old Ford block.Very happy with this ammunition. Grab it while you can."

The M&P would eat it right up, 0 malfunctions due to ammo (a couple due to using bad mags) the ACR on the other hand had problems, but that was the guns fault and after being serviced by the factory it eats this stuff no problem. All of the bullets I've gone through have been in good condition and I can not tell a single bit a difference between them and the stuff I've used in the Marines (except that CTD sends stuff made within the last year whereas in the Marines I've been lucky if it was made in the last decade)."
