"Just when I thought .223 ammunition was starting to go up again, I found this at Cheaper Than Dirt. Works as well as any FMJ 55 grain .223 that I have used in my Colt AR-15 A2. One of the best things about it is that it is made right here in the USA. Perfect for target practice or just putting up if the economy crashes."

"I bought a bunch of this just because it was the same price a REM brass (I reload). The rounds are actually pretty accurate for this type of ammo, for the price you cant complain!"

"As usual, shipping was excellent. Ordered monday, arrived tuesday. The ammo looks great, with no visible dings or dents. Shot 300 at the range with no fte or ftf. Will be buying much more."

"Not bad ammo...no mis fires, fairly accurate and fairly clean, for this price you can't go wrong. Shot it out of my SW AR15 at 100 yards with a fairly decent grouping. Will purchase again."

"Most of you likely know this , but for newer AR owners and those wanting more than low cost range ammo. The Remington American Eagle website states this round is NOT a fragmenting round. It is for target shooting/training, not recommended for hunting. Don't be mislead by the \"Tactical\" on the box. However, It is accurate, rounds were clean and I had no problems with 60 rounds I shot in my RRA, 18 inch, 1:8 twist. I give it 4 bullets because it is only range ammo. VG value for the CTD price."

"I use this ammo in my Savage Edge bolt action rifle. At 200 yards the response of this bullet is awesome.I think for the price my expectations were excellent.I had used the 223 American Eagle for a year and no misfires or another problems in several hundred rounds.Good ammo and the price is excellent."

"I've shot quite a few rounds of this ammo. It feeds, ejects, and fires with zero problems so far. Plus, with my bushmaster's 24\" barrel I consistently get 3 inch groups at 200 yards. With the low cost, brass casings, and consistent reliability, there isn't much to argue about here."

"Shot through 200 rounds using a bushmaster AR15 and Pmags. NOT ONE SINGLE FAILURE. I didn't do any accuracy testing, so I can't judge that. mostly just shooting cans and other misc items out on the field. Will buy again"

"Took my brand new Sig Sauer M400 out last weekend, shot about 120 rounds of the American Eagle. 2 inch grouping with iron sights at 100 yds, 1-2 inch groupings with red dot sight. No jams, smooth operation. This stuff is the goods."

"This is high quality ammunition that was flawless in my older model mini-14. Accuracy was fantastic, poped a 2 liter on the first shot at 100yds. My only complaint is price, with shiping my order was 120.00 for only 200 rounds. It was the cheapest brass cased round at the time. Still great ammo but it was 4.98 a box at walmart before the prices skyrocketed, happy shooting to you if you purchase you wont be disapointed by the ammo."

"I've used American Eagle ammo in various calibers and have found it to be reliable. This ammo was used in my Ruger SR-556e without problem and I found it to be on target and fairly clean to use."

"This is good ammo at a good price. The boat tailed bullet is the most accurate bullet that you can shoot. These shot very well and produced very nice groups out of my Smith and Wesson M&pThis ammo is a little dirty compared to some but what ammo isn't dirty. Would buy more of this.No failure to feed or failure to fire."
