"This is a great deal for the price, but you can't fit a med-lg auto in it. Ok for a small revolver or a small/ compact auto."

"A really great value!!!. my sig 228 and 229 fit snugly (at first) but after a day or two they really fit fine. At first I thought that it would only fit my kahr 40's...but now any standard size semi auto will fit. Fine workmanship and quality.. definately in the $35.00 range."

"This cannot be beat for the money. My cell phone and Glock 36 fit fine."

"Great pack. The leather is strong, the zippers hold together and the pockects hold everything. Great for hiking. My wife and I both have one. I carry a Glock 23 and she carries a compact Sig. They fit perfect. No holster with this pack so you are not limited to what size gun. Plenty of room."

"Very good quality for the money. I can't find anything wrong with it. Holds my Ruger p345 snugly, which is about the same size as a 1911 commander. The hideaway bottle holder is a nice touch too, as this will be used mostly for hiking, cycling, and backpacking. Excellent value."

"Not quite big enough to fit my D Eagle in but I managed to squeeze her in also makes a great fashion statement for the younger crowd."

"I wouldn't know where to begin to compare this value to another. This fanny pack is by far an exceptional value for the quality and workmanship that was put into it.I don't even want to carry a fire arm in it. I use it for other important things."

"This is a nice pack BUT not made to hold a weapon, the lining will rip in no time. My xd 45 compact will not fit in the pocket next to my body. It will fit in the bigger gear pocket, but now I can not use it for anything but that. Want a real pack??? Keep looking"

"This is a nice fanny pack for anything but a firearm. I carry a Glock 19 off-duty, and it does not fit in the concealed compartment. There is no provision for holding a firearm in place, like a holster or strap. If you carry a compact Glock or similar weapon, you will be able to fit it in the rear compartment. I would be wary of the inner lining tearing though."

"Good as fanny pack and some what good for sub..sub compact gun. I use just as a fanny pack."

"I ordered two of these because gas will be more expensive than these bags in another month. Very happy with the quality of the bag for the money. Holds everything I carry while taking my daily walk as well as my Walther. With this bag I can defend myself, call for help, then show ID and Carry License and even buy the next round with the money I saved. Plenty of belt length for us big guys. Is it as nice as a DeSantis? I wouldn't know because I bought this instead and saved the cash. Bottom line is, if you just want a pack that will carry your walkin' junk - this is a best buy!"

"A good value - about what you would expect from a $17 fanny pack (yes, shipping adds 70% to the cost!). Appears to be good material and well made with the exception of the cheap lining. Small - about 2/3 the size of my wife's fanny pack, which she is always complaining about being too small. Obviously never designed or intended to carry a gun - it isn't even labeled by the manufacturer for that purpose. A gun could conceivably be wedged into one of the compartments, as with any fanny pack. No strap, holster, nothing. Misleading to sell it as something that it isn't."

"I agree with the guys who say this was not designed for gun carry. But...for the money it works pretty well for compact pistols. My Glock Model 36 is a small .45ACP and fits really well in the #2 compartment. The #1 Compartment in the Back would not be easy enough access even if it was big enough. You can put your wallet and Carry Permit in #1, your gun in #2, there is a good Cell Phone Pocket and still has a couple of smaller Zip Ups for misc. stuff. It's not a Bagmaster but it doesn't cost like a Bagmaster either."

"Great bag for the price. It actually has four storage compartments. It comfortably fits a .25 in the bigger of the two small compartments and fits a sig series .40 with 2 extra clips in the smaller of the two larger compartments. The largest compartment is the closest to the body and would be uncomfortable to store a gun in it due it rubbing against the body. The largest compartment is best for flat items like money, credit cards, and other items as it is the closest to the body. I would have given it 5 stars if the synthetic leather was a heavier gauge or thicker."

"I was a little nervous from some of the reviews, but just received the fanny pack. I am very impressed. Real leather and fits what I want to carry. Belt is adjustable and fits my ample waist. I would have spent $$$ if I had seen it at a sporting goods store. It gets five stars based on the price and quality."

"I got the Hide-A-Gun about 3 months ago. After using it 10 times it ripped and dropped my PA 63 on my foot. Thank God it did not go off and put a hole in my leg. DO NOT trust this pack."

"Ordered this pack for my wife. It just arrived. A full size gun like a 1911 will not fit. My wife said she will probably carry a PPK or something smaller."

"The pack is made of a thin leather layer deposited on a nylon carrier. The leather covering on mine pealed off. Looked pretty until it did though!"

"I bought one for my daughters Walther P22, and I couldn't believe what I got for the price. I ordered another one for my CCW. I fit extra mags, my XD Compact 40 very easily. Even fit my full size 40. Another 5 bullets for Cheaper Than Dirt."

"I got this for my 1911 5\" and 3.5\" and it really works well. Great value for the money and if it lasts a year, it's well worth it. Who cares if you look like a dork."

"The plastic buckle is very soft and poorly formed. It doesn't properly snap together. Even if it did, I wouldn't trust this to hold a Powerbar, never mind my wallet or handgun. Plus, the pack stinks of dye. I'm very unhappy with the product and am returning it as soon as possible. This is the first thing that I've purchased from Cheaper Than Dirt that I wasn't completely satisfied with."

"Buckle didn't stay snapped, bag came apart at the seams poorly made. I guess I got what I paid for. Wouldn't suggest it for law enforcement."

"I bought this ten dollar fanny pack for four bucks on black Friday, so I can't complain ... much! It is not of bad construction or design for the price, but know that there is NO holster insert, velcro, or specific pocket to safely retain a handgun. If you are looking for a fanny pack that is DESIGNED specifically to safely retain a loaded handgun, move up the food chain and spend a few more bucks. This is not the fanny pack you're looking for. Move along!"

"Are you kidding? Really? This little pack is great..what did you pay? The deal for $3.50 or $9.00? Either way you can't lose..My .40 Springfield XP fits perfect, along with I-Phone and clip of bullets..it is built well. If you mistreat it it in fact might not last..but strap it on and go to town..probably not the best for action in Iraq but you want a good deal this is really a good one.."

"What are you people complaining about???? The price is great, the quality is very good and it holds a small revolver perfectly. It's sturdy and it doesn't feel cheap. The zippers are of the quality you'd expect at this price, they aren't high end, but they work fine. The zippers are cheap, but so is the price.I found it to be a great deal, and it fits me nice, and small revolvers very well."

"I have been getting this pack for a while, and for me it does the job. I carry the Bond 45/410, the Ruger LC9, and the most a N.A.A. Black Widow. Great for sub-compacts"

"Just got mine and for the price, it works great. I'm a large guy and it fits just fine, and has plenty of room for my XD subcompact and an extra mag. Plus, extra storage for keys, wallet, or other small items."

"Just received my fanny pack . Haven't had a chance to use it yet because of the weather. However it is well built and is a good size for me.The compartments are of good size. I like the idea of a water bottle pocket."

"Cheap, cheap and did I mention cheap. This item isn't well built or anything close in terms of quality. The only reason for the one bullet is the price and with shipping this item isn't worth that!!!"

"I liked so much that I ordered a second one. My P250 fits perfectly in it"

"I had used this for my job back when i was running delivery. Plenty of room for your wallet, pens, a bottle of cola(that's right it has a cup holder, as well as a compact pistol. I know I will be judged for it but I was running a Phoenix arms hp22 with the 5 inch barrel. Most of the time. Due to my POU (philosophy of use) I needed something small light weight with just enough fire power to scare off or otherwise detour 1-3 attackers or any dangerous animal concerns while maintaining a non threading appearance in case my boss ever wanted to peek inside.it was great for 3 months then it broke. So I got another. Then it broke in about the same time frame. So I bought 3 when i was done with those I got 3 more. Unfortunately I was promoted and can no longer wear my awesome fanny packs I which I still have 2 of our well guess I'll wear one when I'm a tourist some where."
