The Alchimista I revolver is a traditional 1873 western revolver, paired with an 1860 Army grip frame. This six-shooter's grip is longer and slimmer than a standard 1873, and just sits better in the hand, as well as points more naturally. The single-action revolver has a competition trigger that is wider and set back, allowing more room in the trigger guard. Cowboy action shooters will immediately recognize the Alchimista as a serious competitor.
Pietta of Italy produces the Great Western II Alchimista I for SASS Hall of Fame company EMF (Early & Modern Firearms Company, Inc). Pietta has manufactured replicas of Amercan Civil War firearms since 1964, eventually adding western single-action revolvers to its lineup in 2002.
