"I was hesitant to purchase this conversion kit, but when the price dropped significantly I thought Id give it a go. Im happy I did. I mounted this conversion on my .45 acp Witness frame. Mounting amounted to pulling out the slide stop pin and sliding off the .45 slide and sliding on the .22lr slide, and replacing the slide stop pin. I had about 4-5 FTF / FTEs before I generously lubed all the contact surfaces. Once lubed I had zero problems. Accuracy is on par with my Ruger Mk II, which is a very accurate gun. I ran a wide variety of 22lr ammo through the gun (CCI Stingers, CCI Mini Mags, Remington bulk, Winchester white box) with no issues. I do like pins on each side of the magazine, as they make it a whole lot easier to load. The only thing I can point to that needs attention is seating the magazine in the gun, it needs a good whack to get the magazine to latch solidly."
