"I purchased 3 of these mags for my Witness P Compact .45 ACP. They seem to be quality but with one huge problem.... they jam the gun 6 out of 8 rounds. I'm not sure if there was some prep work needed for these prior to use or what. First off, if you are planning on loading these without the assistance of a speed loader or steroids plan on fitting 7 rounds MAX. The resistance when trying to push a round in is unbelievable. I kid you not, if you can even get 7 rounds in you will be dripping sweat. On top of the abnormal spring resistance... that red plastic piece there on the loading end feels like it sticks the whole way down and up on all 3 mags. Bottom line is that as of now I have 3 brand new mags, made specifically for my gun, that are just for looks. If I am ignorant in my review please forgive me and educate me. If anyone else has had similar problems and can help me with a solution i would really appreciate it."

"Matt don't worry like anything gun related everything I have found that a little finess is always required. dissemble the mag, you can shorten the spring a lil to relieve some tension but the red piece needs to be sanded down to give it more clearance, you can even relieve a little clearance inside the mag with a little elbow grease start with a heavy grit sand paper and work your way down to fine then polish it,add a bit of graphite power an all is good"
