"On the first time to the range with a new pistol, I had a few too many jams. It was suggested that I cycle a few rounds thru. This will be MUCH MUCH safer than using live rounds. PROS: 6 rounds in a packageMade of metal, not just for dry firing. You can use these to cycle the weapon.CONS:The finish is described as powder coat, except it chipped the first time I loaded a magazine. I've never seen powder coat that chipped before. Do I care? ABSOLUTELY NOT.OVERALL:EXCELLENT PRICE PERFORMANCE RATIO. Cheaper Than Dirt saves us money $$ and delivers the goods. I keep looking elsewhere, but haven't found cheaper [Than Dirt].Keep saving me that green CTD."

"These are great when you are learning the ins and outs of a new firearm. Great for clearing jams. I have to agree with the last review, they yellow powder coat does strip off, so you will have to clean that out, which is why I only gave it a 4. Other than that, its a great product."

"As the other two prior reviews have stated these are an excellent tool for both learning a new firearms trigger pull but give great practice for clearing jams. Same complaint as the others as well- the yellow finish scrapes off after a few times thru the mag, but that's no big deal."
