"Excellent barrel. Fit and finish is superb and mated with my lower with absolutely no issues. Only concern is weight, but the barrel says 'heavy' and it is. Its what I wanted, but might not work for someone piecing together an M4 carbine."

"Awesome Barrel. I chose this barrel for my first build and love it, love the weight most of all. if I do an other build im getting another DPMS Heavy barrel."

"Like the other guy said, this barrel is heavy. Put my rifle assembled weight at just under 9 pounds. Not bad, but does fatigue the lead arm a bit when holding for extended periods. Other than that, performance is good, accuracy is good. Shoots 1-3 MOA groups at 100 yards with cheap junk glass. I'm curious to see what it can do with a quality optic on it."
