"The charging handle in this kit is a p.o.s.. It is warped and binds in my upper. Everything else works great. If I were to build another, I would spend the extra money for a better kit. Now I am waiting on yet another part to be able to shoot."

"The charging handle is a weak POS. Lasted two pulls then it just binded up and wouldn't work. The end wore out in that time also."

"This kit went in a Yankee Hill upper with no problems. The charging handle is a little weak but I pull the trigger more than the charging handle. Good buy and super fast shipping."

"The kit is cheap, hence the name cheaper than dirt. The charging handle is very flimsy and will not withstand a single side pull. If you pull per design and straight you won't have a problem. This is not for tactical or competitive shooting. My dust cover was a little oversized on one side and it hung up when I tried to close it. A few passes with a file and a black sharpe and its good to go."

"I bought this kit even after reading the reviews about the terrible charging handle because even without the handle it is cheaper than ordering the forward assist and port cover separately. I have had no trouble with the charging handle so far and since my gas block is currently giving me trouble I've had to use the charging handle about 50 times so far. It definitely \"feels\" cheap, but it didn't break yet, unlike a previous reviewer said would happen on the third pull."
