"I'll be honest, I took a gamble on this one. I had heard of Diamondhead before, but I have no prior experience with any of their products, namely their iron sights. Like most people I really don't have a lot of money to drop on a tube of aluminum, so I'm quite pleased that this handguard feels just as rock-solid as one made by Daniel Defense or Troy (and for half the price). It's very comfortable to hold and has lots of room for additional rails to be bolted on later. Another plus is that the handguard bolts directly to the included barrel nut, eliminating the need for gas tube indexing. Super easy to install and fits great over low-pro gas blocks. I suppose the barrel nut could potentially loosen over time, but as long as you use some loctite and don't torque it like a 5-year-old girl during installation, it should be fine. Still, I will definitely recommend this item to others."

"I built my ar 15 and couldn't decide on which forearm to choose, so many choices. But I decided to go with this one, and it was a great choice. Outstanding quality. But WARNING, if you have a billet upper receiver it may not fit because it has two tabs on the back of it to match up a forged upper, but you can just file them down and problem solved! I highly recommend this forearm."
