"I have owned this particular knife for about 5 years. During our time together this knife has literally chopped 2x4 studs into fireplace sized chunks, its went mountain climbing in Japan, it has cut my food, killed a couple groundhogs and moles, been used as a pry device, and cut untold kindling sticks, cleared trails, opened boxes and mail.... and so much more. You know how you feel if you get in your truck in the morning and your a mile from the house and you realize that you dont have your wallet.....PANICK! That is how I feel about my CRKT. I had to send it back once for repairs after I bent the blade stops, and while I did this I went and got the newer version with the spring loaded double blade lock device... and the nice wood grain looking handle that my wife says is dressy. THats my Sunday-Go-To-Meeting knife...LOL! Blade durability compared to the 10 or so Spyderco knives is much better. It takes a bit more work to restore the edge, but it does hold it well. This is no junk. It is worthy of the title as life partner!"
