"This is about as much fun at the range as you can get! The CMMG is solidly constructed and is very accurate. The best part is that the lower is a TRUE .223 lower and you can switch to a centerfire upper in a matter of seconds. Plastic tactical .22's just can't do that. The only, and I mean ONLY, complaint I have is that the .22 factory magazines are tight as anything and need to be worked on before they fit properly. I highly recommend this product from CTD.Norm"

"Very happy with purchase shoots federal bulk pack from wally worldaccurate no malfunctions as of yet. Bought and installed iron sights Magpul Moe hand-guard looks great. Lifetime warranty through CMMG made in USA. I like that it is a real AR 15 M4 has standard complete mil spec lower can throw a 5.56 upper on and good to go. Lower states multi caliber. Does not have bhoa (bolt hold open) but can be added for approx 30 dollars this includes new follower for magazine sold at Brownells. Both bhoa and follower made by CMMG. Looked and researched made the right choice with this purchase when compared to other tactical .22 I have owned several this is Best in my opinion. ."

"This rifle just plain works right out of the box. It uses real uppers and lowers, and also includes the buffer and buffer spring. The .22lr upper does not use the buffer and spring, but allows you to place a .223/5.56 upper on the lower and shoot it without needing to buy another lower or parts.500+ rounds with no gun related jams or misfires. This gun saves you money on ammo and when you're ready, can place a full power .223 upper and go."

"Getting this model for this price was amazing. Has the aluminum extension with buffer and forward assist equipped stainless action. The barrel collar on mine was black phosphate, not stainless as pictured. There was an issue with my bolt dragging on arrival. Upon disassembly, I discovered the extractor pin had been driven in too far and was dragging on the guide rail of the receiver plate. A quick fix with a pin punch and all is well."

"This thing is so sweet I gained weight just opening the box. It feels and looks right out of the box. Since I have a 5.56 DPMS, I knew what I wanted in a less expensive rifle to shoot. I have yet to fire it, as it was just delivered, but opening the box was enough to confirm the little extra I spent over a plastic clone was well worth it. Thanks to CMMG and CTD for a great product at a good price."

"If you are looking for a high quality AR-15 style .22, then this is what you need. This one has a complete AR-15 lower, so it looks like you can upgrade to 5.56 later if you want. Took it to the range and put 150 down range with no issues until about 5 or 6 rounds later. Not bad for just out of the box and no CLP, just a bone dry rifle with some cheap rounds. After getting lubed up, she started working just fine. This is a really good rifle, like my drill sgt told me \"keep her wet and she'll work all day long.\""

"First, I want to say I have several .22s (most in military GSG, SIG522, MK22, 10/22). My SIG is, or was, the best until I got my hands on this OUTSTANDING rifle! I had a COLT M4 in .22LR but it was a total disappointment, with feeding problems and a bolt you couldn't get out to clean. Hence, I had my worries about another M4 in .22LR. No problem, my friends. This rifle worked flawlessly with any ammo I put through it. I bought myself a 5.56 upper this weekend and am looking forward to siting it in. GREAT JOB on this rifle guys!"

"I like the gun a lot. It shoots well and is accurate. It's durable and the best thing is you can take the upper off and put on any other upper you want. Why I gave this 3 bullets is because of the company (CMMG). The gun didn't include some parts and wouldn't do anything about it. They said that I had to just order them and pay for them AGAIN. I thought this was horrible and most other big companies would have sent me the parts right away, but CMMG isn't the best company. If I could do it again, I probably would have gone with a different company - one that was bigger and cared about the customer."
