"First I would like to thank cheaper than dirt for offering no hassle returns on their products that you are not happy with. I purchased the CMMG AR15 22 Upper Item # 9-61929 CMMG Sierra .22 LR 16 inch upper with Low Profile Railed Gas Block, Optic Ready. I mounted it on my COLT LE6920 AR223 lower that with over 1000 rounds through it that has worked like a fine Swiss watch. Not one problem. I used the ammo recommended by CMMGs Web site in my new upper. My first trip to the range almost made me cry. I was unable to fire more than 8 rounds without a FAILURE TO FIRE. Most times, it was 3 or 4 rounds and on several occasions, one shot after another did not fire. I had over 40 failures to fires in 200 rounds. I did as he suggested and cleaned the bolt carrier and put more oil on it than I have in my car (that\uFFFDs a joke but I loaded it with oil). My next trip to the range was as bad as the first. I fired the first 5 shots with no problem, then BAM! FAILURE TO FIRE AFTER FAILURE TO FIRE. 300 rounds and 50 plus FAILURES TO FIRE. During this trip, I used some information that I had found doing research on FAILURE TO FIRE WITH THE CMMG UPPER and found that as a normal problem, the FIRING PIN WAS NOT EVEN MAKING A DENT ON THE SHELL CASING. One post suggested that I try firing it without the firing pin spring and that could take care of the problem. IT DIDN\uFFFDT. I was sickened by its perfor"
