"Kit with everything I need but oils and cleaner, bunch of rods and bushed do my autos and revovlers and all the peices swap out so you don't get stuck with wierd end peices that don't fit the rods. I hate cleaning guns but this makes it go quick so I guess I have no excuses. I have not used it on rifles, but I guess it would works there also... gift from the misses, so I will keep it with my gear."

"Don't be fooled by the low cost. This product is just as good as any other cleaning kit I've found. The box could be constructed better, but for the price I'm glad the tools aren't in a ziploc bag."

"I own this product, but I did not purchase it from this website. The copper brush bristles on the .40 cal handgun and the 30-06 rifle brushes fell out of the wound-wire spine/handle without even being used. Made quite a mess and rendered each of those brushes essentially useless. This occured during initial inspection of the kit by simply handling the brushes. However, the brushes I have used, including the 9mm, 12ga, 20ga and .22, have all worked well after multiple cleanings. Same can be said for the cotton barrel swabs. The upper portion of the smaller-diameter rod (the portion made of 2 pieces to allow the brush/swab to rotate and follow the rifling of the barrel) rotates freely and works well, However the same can't be said for the larger-diameter rod. I wouldn'y buy this kit again, but the case is a nice place to store higher-quality cleaning tools."

"I bought one of these a while back. while the brushes arnt too bad the rods break bend, after the smallest amount of pressure in small calliber firearms. CTD should pitch all of these to make room for something else. Save your money."

"I bought this 27 piece kit not only because of the price, but for all the different sizes of brushes and bore mops that come with it.The day I received it I started cleaning my 13 different rifles , shotguns , and muzzle loading rifles , I have no complaints with it , well yes I do - the cleaning jags should be made from brass and not plastic , and the ones that come with the kit don\uFFFDt cover a 50 cal. Black powder !The brushes worked great, same with the bore mops,Other then that was worth every penny I paid for it!"

"I bought this set and I like it. Others complain of poles breaking, I think they apply to much force. I have had my cleaning pads get stuck in the barrel because I didnt cut my patches down to size, I had to apply force and they didnt break. Good set, comes with alot of brushes for all guns. I wish you could buy the cleaning pads because they work great for .22"

"I bought a couple of these with none of the issues some of the reviewers have posted. Unless you're swabbing down a musket and forcing the rod so hard it breaks, nothing bad will happen. People need to learn how to clean their weapons properly and things will not break. Again, I bought two of these with no issue at all. You can't beat it for the price."

"Ok so I read a few reviews on this and initially decided not to get it until they had on sale for twelve dollars. Now that I have the kit I would easily pay the twenty dollars. There is no way one of these rods will just break, unless you are slamming them down the barrel or trying to pry open a locked car door. If you need to remove a lodged casing get an extracter. GREAT KIT, LOTS OF GOOD OPTIONS FOR EVERY WEAPON. DON'T FORGET CLP."

"Overall, I am happy with this kit. The brushes, rods, and fittings are actually pretty great. The nylon brush is junk and is falling apart after maybe six vigorous cleanings. The bore swabs are mediocre quality, but I don't really use them very often. The case is what really disappointed me about this. The wooden part is good enough. The cheap molded insert is just terrible. This would be so much better if it had fitted foam padding. This case is only fit to sit on a shelf. Don't get me wrong though, the brushes, rods, and fittings alone really are worth the asking price."

"Thank God I bought this kit on sale, and primarily for the extra rods. The metal rods, brass brushes, etc. are of pretty good quality, the nylon bore brush and plastic patch pullers, etc. are literally so cheap that they are unusable. Worth the money? Yes. But not a complete, ready to use cleaning system."

"I bought this set on sale for $10 plus shipping. It is a great deal. The case is so-so but you get two sets of sturdy rods (one for shot guns and one for rifles), a full range of brushes, swabs, and a few patches. If you don't like the case throw it away and put the tools in a bag. You can't get the other tools at this price anywhere else that I am aware of."
