"I ordered this last week, and I am so glad that I did. It came, within five days, straight to my FFL dealer with no problems whatsoever. Upon first inspection, it felt very well made but a little rough and crude (stamped receiver and unfinished wood) but tight, solid, and sturdy nonetheless. Finally, today, I had a chance to take it out to the desert, and wow! So much fun and loud! I ran probably 200 rounds through it with my 20 year old Bulgarian mags that came with my standard AK, the two that came with it, and a brand new Tapco 30 round mag. Not a hitch with any of them. So, if you want the coolest pistol to impress your friends, go for it. Hopefully more will be available soon! Keep up the great work, Cheaper Than Dirt!"

"Wow, what a pistol! The gun, out of the box, is accurate and works perfectly. The bang (like a .50 BMG) and flash (1 foot) will put a smile on your face and any others around you will take notice. I bump fired it and it ran like a full auto."

"Pretty nice AK pistol out of the box. Still greasy as all H from Serbia. That being said, it's not surplus. Wood is kinda rough, but sandpaper will fix that. Transaction and shipping went flawlessly to my local \"big box store\" FFL. It's a 1 mil receiver, not 1.5. I do like it better than my Norinco, but I like my Saiga AK over both. Quality is good, but I have yet to shoot it. I'm lucky enough to live in a state that allows this gun, and the Korean 75 rd drums fit right in this. My old metal AK mags fit too, and the bolt hold open feature is nice on the supplied mags (which looked almost brand new). Tapco mags fit very tight (ie., sandpaper fix). Overall, a nice gun, but really only for a SBR. In pistol form, it's unrealistic unless you were shooting from the hip and spraying and praying. If you get this gun, count on another $200 to SBR it for a tax stamp. In pistol form, it's really only good for show. I'd buy another at this price if they become available over the next two months. Dualing AK pistols, or maybe one SBR and one pistol = pure slice of heaven! USA!"

"This is one fun gun!! You just can't get this kind of fun from a long gun. This gun will chug any kind of ammo with exception to RN-SP ammo. With the RN ( round nose soft point) the length is much shorter and rises higher than the chamber and will not slide into the chamber, they get cocked and won't load. Having said that, any brand of FMJ or HP will load, shoot and eject with no problems. I've shot steel case, and brass case with multiple brands, projectile types and grains. This appears to be well made for a stamped 1mm receiver, the wood was in the rough, and one mag looks like it was not new, the other was. For what it is, it shoots relatively accurate. If you're looking for fun, this is for you."

"Excellent buy! Super fun to shoot and less expensive than my AR15s. Well built and easy to clean. Added a muzzle booster, hogue grip, and a rear sling mount. Looks and shoot awesome."

"I've had this for some time now, the only negative I can say, is the trigger pin spring jumps out after firing some rounds off, then the trigger pin gets loose. I bought a retainer kit for it, and it did the trick. This is one fun gun"

"This is the third one of these PAPs i have purchased from CTD. The price is hard to beat and the quality is alright for the price. There are plenty of aftermarket items for upgrades and whatnot. Great investment for when the market goes crazy again. I saw these selling for 800-900 atraight out the box during the craziness."

"I bought one of these Zastava handguns and was so impressed that I bought another one, and the 2nd was cheaper than the first. Pays big to pay attention. Enjoy."

"Seems to be good fit and finish for the price. I have not shot it yet. I will most likely sand and stain the hand guard wood, but that's just me being picky."

"Tons of fun. Loud with a big muzzle flash. I am not disappointed at all"

"Very nice AK. Sanded and finished the wood, replaced the handgrip with one that matches the wood and added an arm brace. This is now the handgun I most enjoy at the range."

"CTD shipped item quickly, My FFL had it in less than 5 business days. Second mag was fully covered with grease, just as others have said. It was bad. Still cleaned it and it is now in the rotation. Gun is fun to shoot. Wood is unfinished, I sanded and stained it and added 4 coats of poly. Gun never jammed or misfired. If you can get it under $600 you will be getting a great deal. Loud, Hot, loud huge 3 foot flame, loud and feels very reliable. Not for long range shooting. After 1000 rounds, I was consistently getting a 12 inch grouping from 40 yards. I use mine as a truck gun."

"Received the pistol with two 30 round metal mags which hold open on the last round. This gun is a blast! Had to cut the spot weld for the muzzle thread protector and touch up with some flat high temperature paint, plus the wood is unfinished, so I gave it 4 stars. Added a muzzle booster and the SB47 \uFFFDarm brace.\uFFFD Finally took it to the range yesterday, 200 rounds of FMJ Tulammo with zero FTE or FTF in metal and polymer mags. Had guys at the range next to me stop shooting and stare at the 2 foot flame and deafening bang coming from this bad boy! Ton of fun and accurate with the brace."

"After buying a Zastava 308 AK and seeing the quality of that rifle, I could not pass up this pistol. The weapon is very well made as other reviewers stated. My only problem is that it takes a lot of additional accessories to make this gun shoot well. I'm too tall to get any type of sight picture with the irons. So about $500 later I added the brace, green laser, a red dot, muzzle brake and fore-end (among other things). This thing shoots incredible now and is accurate at surprising ranges. It's my zombie survival tactical gun porn dream. The only reason I give it four stars is because it took so many add-ons to make it usable. The SB47 brace and Midwest industries fore-end are essential. I spent almost as much on add-ons as I did on the gun itself. I'm glad I have this but had to put a lot of elbow grease to make it awesome."

"I just ordered this gun 2 months ago. CTD told me 3 days and 3 days it was. Went to my local store filled out the forms and took her home so no complaints there. Honestly this thing is put together in a very simple crude fashion so if you've never owned one before be ready for that otherwise she's a sweet shooter. A little rough action in the beginning but it smooths out, recoil is much lighter than I expected and the iron sights shoot as straight as you can. 50 yard targets are easy, further than that becomes fun. I got mine fora good price so very happy all around. Buy one !"

"Wow, talk about a great deal! This AK is a steal! When I received the gun I took it apart and cleaned it, it looked like a thing of beauty! Wood furniture looked and felt great, very well built and high quality. I took it out and broke it in with a few 75 round drum mags! functioned flawlessly... really a must have! It came with 2 metal magazines, one was covered with so much cosmoline that it honestly took me about 1 hour to clean it off and about 10 dollars worth of cleaners... that is my only complaint."
