"Jammed a bunch of times on first trip to range, but after cleaning up (shipped with a lot of oil in the workings) no problems. Seems pretty accurate at 15 yards. Straight forward operation and disassemble. Very light recoil - but I am used to shooting a 45LC with heavy loads. I wanted a no frills handgun that I could do a lot of cheap shooting with....mission accomplished, very happy with product."

"First time firing the pistol recoil spring assyembly came apart while firinglosing the rod pin and guide rod bushingsomewhere in the dirt, but didnt know this until i got home, also 1 of the mags will not cycle-contacted century-spent a week getting to the point thatit would be 2 weeks before they might send out the replacement parts- hardto be patient when you bought a new gun"

"It won't win any sharp shooter contests but this 9mm is an effective defense weapon within 30 feet. I was able to stay within a 6 inch grouping on a 10\" target at 30 feet away, and 1 second trigger pulls. Build quality is exactly what you should expect from a $200 pistol. These things come from the factory full of cosmoline and sharp edges. It WILL take time to break them in.I picked up two M70A's and I've only had an opportunity to get 100 rounds through each. One of my clips is sticky but a little file work on the back spacer made quick work of it. I had two failure to feeds that were the product of a rough chute. I fully expect that to go away after a few hundred more rounds.....My expectations were met, very happy."

"Right out of the box I saw what other reviewers had noted about the excess grease/oil. I took it apart and washed all componets with mineral spirits. Blew out with compressed air, re-assembled and took it to the range. Not a single FTC, FTF or FTE. Could not hit the broad side of the barn @ 20 yards. Going to try and adjust the rear sight. Seems very well made but due to it's narrow profile you do feel a bit of recoil. Overall, I like the gun!"

"I didn't expect a lot from this gun and I didn't get much but it is the best cheap handgun I've ever shot. I got it and spent 15 minutes cleaning it up, shot it 10 times, adjusted the sights a little bit, and then it was fairly accurate at 10 yards. The only problem I had was the magazine slipped out when being fired. All it took to fix this problem was a few passes with a dremel tool to smooth out the part on the magazine that locks in the clip. After that I shot 4 different kinds of ammo through it with out any failure to feeds or failure to fires. I will probably buy another one because they are so cheap."

"I've had my M70A for about a year. Have shot over 500 rounds at range without any problems. Really great for concealed carry as it is very thin. Fit and finish is very good. Only draw back is the sights. Rather small. With average gun fight taking place between 3 and 8 feet I guess pointing is just going to be mostly instinctive and sights not used anyway!"
