"This pistol will jam one out of every three shots! Nothing I tried worked with it. Different magazine different ammo did not make a difference. The last straw was when the gas tube locking mechanism came loose during shooting and the gas piston locked into the gas tube! I can not get the round out and the manufacture will not ship the firearm with the round still in it. I will not spend $90 per hour getting the POS fixed so I can ship it. Save your $$$!"

"It does jam at first but after a100 rounds and some lube it will start firing fine. The weapon is so tight on the build it just needs a breakn stage. I love mine c39. I call mine the black panther."

"Awesome gun! I got a new drum mag and fixed an old drum when I got the gun. To check the feed of them, I lubed the gun and manually cycled about 200 rounds through it. You can definitely tell that it's a tight build. The extractor gouged a several of the steel cases. Yes, I plan to fire gouged cases. I only was able to fire about 100 rds of Tull through it this weekend, but it ran perfectly. My biggest complaint is the sights. Century, if you're going to monkey with the sights of an AK, make sure that you improve them! The shark fin front, while making the gun look cool from the side, is not very helpful in a fast acquisition of the target. A hole drilled through, stuffed with a piece of fiber optic, or a night site upgrade would go a LONG way. The factory setup works, but it needs some help-reflex, laser, high viz sight paint, etc. I'll start with a laser and paint. No failures yet, but 4 stars because of the G.D. sights! Hopefully I remember to update after a few cases of the cheapest, dirtiest crap I can find. The only other AK I have is a saiga, which I would give 5 stars to on its worst day. So that is what I compared this c39 pistol to."
