We don't know where these came from, or how they got here, but Century found a batch of Chinese Type 56 SKS rifles and they've just hit the market at a great price.

These will come covered in cosmoline and in fair to good, but used condition. Most of the stocks are beat up with dings and scratches. The bores are nice and although the rifles look a little rough, they should function nicely. Metal is in good condition with some finish wear. These include the blade bayonet, machined triggerguards, chrome lined bore, ten round magazine and 20" non-threaded barrel.

Specifications and Features:
Gas Operated Semi Auto
20" Barrel

Note: This rifle is used surplus and condition may vary. By purchasing this gun you accept you will receive a used gun graded in fair to good condition. No choice or handpicking. Guns can not be returned for any reason. We do not ship to C&R license holders.

"Arrived at FFL to pick up my much anticipated deal on this SKS, only to be very disappointed in the overall condition. Stock was in worthless condition, with Cosmoline so deep in the grain, I could run my fingernail along it and remove a nice slice of stock. Gun had nearly zero bluing left on it and just overall rough condition. Three guys that work at the FFL were actually trying to get me to return it by not accepting the condition, but I believe for what I'm creating, it is salvageable. However, it's going to cost some money to make this a beauty. P.S. I would still have paid the amount CTD was asking, even if I got to see it before purchase."

"Received this from my FFL dealer Tuesday. Yes, there was a ton of Cosmoline on her. Spent about 3 hours with some break cleaner, a bunch of rags, and a cleaning kit. All the metal looks to be in good condition. The stock is beat up, but I had a Tapco stock waiting for her arrival. New stock and cleaned up, she looks amazing! Very happy with it! I haven't gotten to take her to a range yet, but I'm sure it'll be a blast! NOTE: for any one that buys one of these SKSs, make sure you take the bolt apart (clean the firing pin and port). There is a lot of Cosmoline in there and you don't want any dangerous slam fires. Enjoy this amazing firearm, and be safe out there!"
