"These bullets are junk. i bought i box of 50 to use to requalify with my 45 after about 2 mags i had to stop the quals because my chamber and barrel was so nasty with powder res that i had to hit the back of my slide to make it go into battery. had to stop clean my gun and buy some decent ammo. never had this prob before and have shot over 2000 rounds through my gun. never again will i buy this junk. thankfully i had an understanding instructor."

"Recently I went to the shooting range with my Para Big Hawg and S&W M&P AR-15. The ammo didn't work at all in my para. Lots of feed jams and wasn't strong enough to cycle the slide. Also the price of one box was $14.99. Save your money on this one and buy it at the range or another type of ammo. Everything else seems to be cheaper here except this crappy ammo."

"bought 2 boxes of this crap for my Taurus PT145Pro. I've shot over 1000 rounds through this gun and NEVER had a failure to feed until I tried this ammo. I got so frustrated after 30 rounds I gave the other 70 to the guy in the next lane and he had the same problems. They looked real good in the trash can.......where they belonged."

"I tried 50 rounds in my RIA 1911A1 40% FTF every 2nd or 3rd round I would have to cycle the gun it get it to feed half the rounds didn't even hit the target. This ammo should be renamed bazaar brass because that's what it was I had rounds hitting the ground 10 feet in front of the target. I know its not my gun I used S&B with 0 problems and always hit my mark."

"I have used this on multiple occaisions in my Kimber CDP, Caspian, S&W 625, and my Glock G21. Generally putting 200-275 rounds per session. Has always performed well and accurately. Perhaps some of the other reviewers may have had too strong a recoil spring or a bad batch of ammo. Each gun seems to like different ammo, find what feeds best for yours. Decent ammo for the money. Shop around for price though. Thank you for your time."

"I have run about 400rds through my GI Spec RIA 1911 with Chip McCormick Shooting Star mags and have not had a single problem. I achieve a consistant 3\" group at 20yds with it all day long. It is dirty but reliable, I would highly recomend."

"I have put about 400rds through my RIA 1911 with-out a single problem. It is dirty so you just have to keep your weapon clean. Seems fairly accurate, enough for practice."

"This stuff fires every time, and is accurate enough. I don't think you will find any brass cased ammo cheaper. It isn't competition ammo... but it is more than adequate for range use, and is economically priced. 'Functions flawlessly in a RIA 1911."

"Avoid this stuff at all costs. I ran one box through my S&W 1911 earlier today. Virtually every other round had some issue. Whether it was a weak load, failure to fire OR jam on ejection. Just damn lucky I didn't get any squibs. You want cheap ammo that works? Buy S&B!"

"I bought 200 rds of this crap and will not get it again. I tried to put it through my SA 1911A1 G.I. and had nothing but problems. Out of 7 rds I had 5 jams. They either stove pipe, miss feed or don't feed at all. It's a brand new gun and I'm sorry for feeding the gun this crap. There is a nasty lip between the round and the casing, that gets caught on the ramp and cases the majority of the jams."

"I buy this cheap ammo for my Kimber tactical custom 2 to shoot at the range, have never had a misfire or a feed problem its great range ammo. I noticed that most of the negative reviews about this ammo come from people with cheap guns so you guys should quit blaming the ammo for your bad performance in you junk guns."

"Did not have enough power to blow slide back to locked and opened position when last round fired from my 24/7 45ACP. Good enough for range-that's all. If you want quality ammo, then pay the price."

"I'm not sure what all the griping is about. I have run well over 5000 rounds of this ammo through everything from a rebuilt POS Charles Daly to a Wilson Combat. My SA Ultra Compact eats it like candy, and my Kimber CDP is dead on with it at 15 yds. Plus, the brass is great for reloading.Maybe it's your pistol, if this is not cycling..."

"I have fired almost 1000 rounds with NO problems. In my Springfield mil-spec 1911 it works great. I use it for practice and plinking. I've found if I do my job....the ammo does it's."

"This ammo serves its purpose. Reasonably priced and functions properly every single time. Some say you get what you pay for and to buy name brand, well how about a little attention to detail...can anybody say Speer and CCI. Read the manufacturer name on back of box. Maybe you should get what you pay for with a different sidearm such as Kimber or Glock. The rough edge at the top of the brass allows a rimless cartridge to headspace inside the chamber. Look next time you clean to see how case gets stopped without entering your Bore. Maybe need to polish ramp and barrel area on cheaper guns. Keep guns clean and you should have no problem with this ammo for a day at the range. Wouldn't want to be a bad guy on the receiving end of this ammo either. Hope this helps...God bless our troops and God bless America."

"I bought a few boxes in various sizes(9mm,.40,.45). I took them to the range and could not believe how nice they were shoot. I had no problems with them at all. I have a Kimber, Glock 23, and a Beretta 9mm and have not had any problem with those. Also, I have a Hi-point 995 cabine that shoots them just fine as well."

"I've shot tons of these through my glock 21 and NEVER had a misfire. they're great consistent rounds for target shooting. I've also run through boxes upon boxes of blazer's 9mm and also never had a problem. these are well worth their price for weekend shooting."

"I have bought this ammo for my Kimber, and my Sig and XD and have shot almost 8000 rounds at the range, with no problems whatsover and had stored about 1500 rounds in my home in ammo cans. Some of my ammo is over a year old and took it to the range and fires with no problems. I would recommend this ammo, it is reliable and great range ammo. I use JHP for my home defense."

"I bought 400rds for a class that required factory ammo. My 1911 will shoot quality defensive ammo into 1 1/2\" groups all day @ 15yds & this stuff while reliable, accuracy is medicore at best. Yep, it goes bang, but it won't win any accuracy contests."

"I have a 70 colt and a new kimber and have fired close to a thousand rounds of blazer brass this year between the two of them and have not had a single problem.I can get 5 inch groups at 25 yards, if I want better I use hand loads."

"CCI Blazer Brass ammunition has always been a favorite for plinking for me in all calibers. The brass I have seen stamped both blazer and more recently it seems to be mostly CCI stamped. It is the EXACT same brass used by Federal, American Eagle, and all the other Alliant Techsystems (ATK) branches. It does not go through the extra polishing steps, and the case lengths are towards the high end of the spec. I would not use it with match barrels, simply because many of them are on the shorter end of the SAAMI spec, and thus one could encounter problems. But if you buy a match gun, you feed it match ammo... I mean you don't put cheap off brand unleaded in a Ferrari do you? But for your run of the mill .45 for plinking, range shooting, this ammo is great. Inexpensive, decently accurate, reliable (once again, in your run of the mill, NON-match pistols) and the brass reloads the exact same as federal premium brass does. The bullets are not TMJ, and have an exposed lead base. The jackets also are not as well polished, like the bonded TMJs are, thus in lower end pistols you may encounter feeding issues if you have not polished and throated the barrel. I have shot 1000s of rounds of this stuff (a sporting goods store was going out of business... idiots sold this by the case for $250 a case, 1000 rounds, so I bought a few) without a hitch. It runs slightly slower than the spec 230 grain (blazers fly @ 830 average, compared to federal flying at 850 average) so you don't want an overly strong spring when using this. If you have a 20#+ spring, get a stock weight (18.5# for 5\", and 20.5# for 4\") and you should have no issues. This ammo uses the same powder and primers as the standard federal TMJ loaded ammo does. It is all made in the same factory. Only difference is the head stamps, and the bullets themselves. Don't expect 1/4\" groups @ the 25 yd line, but at the 25 yd line I promise it will hit a man sized target..."
