This phosphorescent lensatic military compass is identical to the compass Cammenga has been supplying to the US military for years, except the tritium has been replaced with phosphorescent paint. This unique paint will glow for up to 1-2 hours after brief exposure to light. The olive drab frame is made of cast aluminum, and the induction damping process means there is no liquid or gel to freeze. The dial readings are conveniently notated in both degrees and mils.
