"Must agree with SantoSaint. This thing rocks!! Put it on a Mossberg Maverick 88 Special Purpose. Extremely easy to install. Has a rock solid feel. Locks secure in both positions. Worth every penny. Don't waste your money on anything else."

"Easy to install. Has sling attachment point on left side in same position as Mossbergs factory pistol grip. Shells are extremely tight in stock. Very difficult to extract quickly....but on the other hand...they will not fall out under any circumstance. If adjusted properly, release button is firm but can be pushed down and the stock has minimal up and down play. It is exactly what I wanted. Its a shame no one makes a short soft case that fits this wapon with the stock folded. I bought the shorty case on this website for pistol grip shotguns, but it is too narrow in width to accept the gun with the folding stock. With just the pistol grip on the gun....its fine. Butt cushioning is sufficient...shoots well."

"Easy to install, just feels damn good on there. Only problem I have is I can't find a short carrying case that it'll fit in w/ the stock folded (side saddle shell holder sits right on the other side)"

"Worth the price. Wish I'd gotten the steel one. Works very well folded. ON 835, you will have to file front stock on right side corner, or cut your forend stock so it will cycle. I have the Butler Creek plastic folding stock on an 835 ultimag. I was very pleased with the product, but it has 2 drawbacks. Some people complain that thier shells fit too tightly in the stock's shell holder. Mine fall out when firing. I put set screws with locktite in the plastic to tension on shells. Also, when firing 3\" magnum shells, the stock flexes noticeably. but this is a drawback of all but the highest grade folders. So I'm not worried. The pluses: the folding mech locks positively every time! There is room to tape 2 CR123s under the stock cheek bar, and room in pistol grip for 2 coin batteries and 2 lense wipes. I expect the steel version to be much steadier, but not intended as a cheek rest. Do not throw away your factory stock, you might use it on another gun or in duck season."

"I really like this folding stock, but make sure you locktite the set screw on the button or it might fall out like it did me. Thinking about installing a limbsaver recoil pad, but I am afraid it may be a little big and get inb the way."

"Got one for my mossburg 500, super easy to install and works perfict. The shell holder is a good idea to give some extra firepower rounds if needed. Great on a mossburg 500 with a 18.5 inch barrel for home."

"Well it was easy to install, does need some locktite on the install, but the bigest problem was its square design. When you get a really good cheek position and fire, you're gonna rattle your teeth. Fired 3 rds 00buck and called it quits. Let my friend try to and he quit after 2. I've had my mossberg 500 for almost a year now and this was the only time I did not enjoy shooting it. Gonna replace this stock soon."

"Installed on my Mossberg 500 security with 18.5\" barrel. Loctited the set screw after it came loose and WOW! Shot forty skeet with it unfolded and it felt good, no increase in recoil. The folded position with pistol grip and Tacstar forend pistol grip make it awesome for home defense. Installation was one of the easiest."
